What To Wear To A Restaurant In The Evening For A Birthday

I'm planning a 40th birthday party and need creative ideas for the location.?

an amusement park: roller coasters are the perfect setting for that "Over the Hill" theme

a sports stadium: everyone can wear their black "Over the Hill" t-shirts while knocking back hot dogs and beer and watching baseball

a renaissance faire: have the whole group dress as pirates (you can provide the eye patches & scarves as party favors) & head out to a ren faire for turkey legs & meade

middle eastern restaurant: reserve a table close to the dance floor on a night when the belly dancer is making an appearance; have a middle eastern Mezzeh or two ready as soon as they get there so everyone can sample the fare, and don't forget to finish off the evening by relaxing with a hookah pipe or two!

a dinner theatre: find a theatre company that does audience-participation performances and serves dinner; provide your own birthday cake at intermission & ask the audience to join you in singing "happy birthday"!

a public park: have an "adult" weiner roast with hot dogs and an "adult pinata"; guests can sign up to bring hot dogs & the fixings, drinks, etc..., if you're trying to limit costs, then just pick one of the guys to do the grilling. For entertainment, bring a pinata stuffed with adults toys (e.g. condoms, mini containers of personal lubricant, pop rocks, AA batteries, etc...) and use a fish-net stocking as blindfold! (P.S. If you do this at home or in a private club, you can use a giant dildo to hit the pinata!)

What to wear to a restaurant in the evening for a birthday?

Well, this is very complicated, just like my affair (alleged) with the mayor of Yolo, California. See, if you're going to a McDonald's birthday party (my personal favorite right after Taco Bell Tuesdays with the bae) just hit it up in those heels and hoops. However, if this is at a really expensive restaurant, I recommend a skirt and blouse, I mean were talking nice stuff. So if it's any level above that, a gown.
But for future reference, PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC.
We don't know where you're going to. McD? Sushi? Applebee's? Didn't really want to answer this, but gotta help who you gotta help on yahoo answers

What to wear to a 90th birthday party?

I have to go to a birthday party for one of my dad's aunts (I'm not completely sure, he just calls her aunt. She's some distant family member). It's her 90th birthday and the party is being held at a banquet hall/country club type place. I was thinking about wearing this black dress I have its fitted and comes to a little above my knee. Would this be appropriate? btw I'm a 15 year old girl

What should I wear to my birthday dinner date night?

My bf and I are going out to dinner Friday night for my birthday and I don't know what to wear.

Since I now wear mostly dresses or skirts/blouses/cardigans with flats to work it's no fun dressing up for a date.

I also am always tired by Friday evening and don't want to wear anything but my comfy clothes and sneakers.

Any suggestions for comfortable and different suggestions than my typical work attire would be appreciated.

It's going to be warm (70s Fahrenheit)

What does informal evening attire mean?

It means dont wear anything formal, like a ball gown or a suit/tux.

"Evening attire", though, suggests that you do need more than just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Try a comfortable pair of pants for a man, with a nice button-down shirt. No tie necessary.

For a lady, a nice, relaxed dress, or a pair of slacks and a nice top.

What to wear to a 70th birthday party? I have no fashion sense and a weird body type.?

Wear something along the lines of a little black dress. Also; keep the skirt above the knees, that way your legs will appear longer. Add a bit of colour, but do not wear anything bright and dark like this http://www.gtboutique.com/flyer/ladies/?category=262&product=13241&lang=en.
Also the bottom should not be trimmed up like this http://www.gtboutique.com/flyer/ladies/?category=262&product=13070&lang=en
Be festive but not random :)
