What happens if i take 40mg of adderall XR?
I am prescribed adderall xr 10mg capsols and Tomorrow i have a major tests in school so i decided to take my pills for ADD so i could study easier. I took one of my 10mg pills and it didnt really do anything to me so then i took two more. It was a total of 30mg. i took the first three within one hour. Then i started to study but i decided to take one more. Before taking it i took apart the capsol and crunched up the adderall and then made it into this almost white powder then put it all back into the capsol and swallowed it. Then it hit me like never before and i just couldnt stop studing. I studyed for 3 hours on my biology and i was feeling really good Then i studied for 1 hour on my social studies. that was just about 20 minutes ago. now i am having cold sweats and dont feel good. It feels like i am high. i am having a hard time remebering what i was just doing and i am really tired but i cannot fall asleep. I have been taking my prescription adderall for 2 years now but always followed the guideline of 10mg a day. I am a 14 year old male 150 pounds. I am really nervious please help
Is it illegal to take Adderall without a prescription?
I'm not a doctor or a nurse but, yes it is illegal to take or give prescription medication. Please, don't take it or give it. I can imagine, you've heard that so and so and so took it and they didn't have a script and all kinds of wonderful things happened and nothing bad happened. Okay. However, all it takes is for one person to have a bad reaction or die (and people do die). I've been taking prescription meds for several decades for mental illness. I take what I'm supposed to and I don't mess with what I'm not. I don't drink. I don't want to take a chance on hurting anyone or anything because I'm "playing" with drugs. I'd be embarrassed, humiliated and broke. My insurance carrier would tell me to get lost.I guess I answered your question and then some. That's serious medicine. Take it if you need it. If I take 2 20mg adderall pills 2 days in a row will I OD?
Im 15 years old and took some adderall today. I took 2 20mg pills and was focused during school and will try to get a prescription this weekend... Well today we have a test and I want to take the 40 mg again and ill wait a while till my next dosage. I was researching the effects of adderall and I just want to know if I will overdose... When I took it I felt sleepy the rest of the day but I was extremely focused... and a little lazy =). Also I weigh about 130lb. and finally I dont have a history of heart problems. Adderall has minor side effects such as headaches and loss of appetite, but it also has its major ones depending on past family medical history. What is the fuzziness that I feel when I take Adderall?
I had gotten lots of advice from friends about most of the information concerning Adderall before I took it. I don't have ADD/ADHD so I took it to help me focus on school for a few days straight. It worked, I got plenty of work done but my question is this. What is the fuzziness that I felt while on it and how and why was I able to control it? My friend told me I had to "focus" to "activate" it and actually do things. I never knew what he meant by that but he said I would whenever it happened. On the second and third day, I had the hang of it. I was very productive of course but it was actually almost fun to "activate" the fuzziness I felt. Essentially what I had to do was close my eyes (I didn't have to but I think it helped) and focus on a certain point in my brain I guess or just in general (I really can't explain it too well) and I could have that fuzziness appear in my arms, neck, back (my body basically) and move up to my head and it was last a few brief moments. It would make the hair on my arms stick up, like when someone has goosebumps or is cold. I'm just curious on as to how all of that works and what it is. Thanks!
