What Would Cause A Painful Lump In The Top Of My Gum Along With Occasional Neck Pain And Severe

What could be the cause of a painful lump in the buttocks after injections?

Well, I would expect that it would always be painful immediately after an injection, but that should resolve. A more prolonged painful mass would probably be an injection site reaction, where your body reacts to the (minor) trauma of being injected with a localized inflammatory response. Different folks will react differently in such situations, with greater or lesser response. One example of a particularly prominent response is called nodular fasciitis (and related conditions), which is not dangerous, and will often resolve by itself with time, but which occasionally requires (or leads to) surgical excision. One could also develop an abscess (a deep pocket of infection) at an injection site, but that’s pretty rare, and would usually be fairly obvious (with fever, etc).

What causes pain below my jaw on the right side? Could it be Hodgkin’s Disease? Its swollen under my jaw, on the right side, on top of the neck (compared to my left side). I dont have a flu/cough or any other symptoms and I'm putting on weight!

You should see a doctor and be examined.I can't put your mind at rest based on what you've said, but I can say that two common causes of what we doctors would call "submandibular swelling" are stones in the submandibular gland and tooth decay leading to an abscess. Both are statistically roughly twice as common as Hodgkins  which is about 30 cases per million people per annum.People with cancer of all forms typically lose weight, although there are always exceptions, and yes, some people with Hodgkins do gain weight. 1/2 the adult population manages to gain weight and does not have Hodgkin's disease so you can't make too much of that in isolation. The most common lymph node site affected by Hodgkin's disease is in the neck, however, Hodgkin's disease can also cause swelling of the groin or nodes of the underarm but these swellings are usually not painful and can feel rubbery. Like most cancers Hodgkin's disease can also cause fevers, night sweats, weight loss, and even generalized itching. Hodgkin's disease may cause lymph nodes in the chest to swell, which can't be seen or felt, but can cause symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, or chest pain. Interestingly, some people with Hodgkin's disease will note pain in the lymph nodes after minimal alcohol consumption which appears to be something you've noticed. Please get a checkup ASAP.

What are the causes of a hard lump under the skin of the jawline?

Depending on the size and location of the lump under the jaw or “"mandible” you could be feeling a salivary gland or lymph node. As far as glands are concerned, the submandibular gland is the likeliest culprit, especially if you have tenderness in the area of the lump. The lymph nodes under the jawline are in the “cervical chain” and can be enlarged or inflamed due to several conditions. Inflammation of the oral cavity or throat can lead to enlarged lumps under the jawline which are most likely lymph nodes responding to a viral infection. This is the most likely cause of your lump.

What is causing my tooth pain 10 months after extraction?

What is causing my tooth pain?10 months ago I had a tooth extraction on upper right 4 in a tooth that had root canal (and crown). I had it removed because I’d had a painless self draining abscess in the gum for about 12 years post apicoectomy. When the crown popped off the dentist struggled for a long time to get the tooth out and there was a LOT of digging around. She was in training. Others were coming in during asking if she was SURE she didn’t need any help. One of them pointed out she was using the wrong tool at one point.I was in a lot pain in the week to follow especially when lying down at night (and they didn’t give me pain killers!).I now have a pain that started a few months ago (dentist thought it was because I didn’t have anything in the space at the time). It’s got a lot worse in the last couple of weeks and he xrayed it to check there are no pieces of bone left. He thinks the pain is coming from so much of the bone being removed. I am not sure he knew it was pain felt in the neighboring tooth. I didn’t realise myself until now and I am not sure that it hasn’t changed. It’s a sharp nerve pain, 6 or 7 / 10 (not the 10 out of 10 kind of pain with a direct connection with a nerve though) seemingly from the neighboring tooth or my sinus. Which has come on sometimes after eating, when flying and the plane changed pressure and yesterday it happened because I stood up! It may get better when putting pressure on the sinus at the side of the nose on that side or it may just be it would have stopped anyway. What do you think is causing this and should I be doing anything other that waiting for the bone to grow back?

Why does eating bread cause pain in the roof of the mouth?

Whenever you eat hard substances like that always make sure you use water along side, because the food would always get stuck in between the gaps of your tooth and then begin to decay over time and cause micro orgS to infest that part of your mouth and cause decay.

Do daily headaches mean brain tumor?

There is a muscle which stretches up from your back/neck to across your forehead.
Those headaches are probably coming from you popping your neck. When you do that, your body builds up stress in those muscles until you pop your neck again. I have that same issue.
Here's what you can do:
Try taking ibprofen. It's an anti inflammatory (as April so kindly reminded me!).
Hot baths.
Try a massage for your head and neck.

Yes, headaches are a symptom of brain tumors, but it your case it is highly unlikely because you have no other symptoms.
