How much does it cost a month for well water?

My husband and I are buying our first home as I have mentioned in a question previously. The home we're buying has well water and I'm trying to figure out the bills per month and wanted to know if we get charged anything to run well water in ohio. We know that it will cost us to dewinterize it but do we get charged for it to come into our home monthly?

How much do cockatiels cost monthly?

Hello, I have three cockatiels I am from US so Im not exactly sure of pricing over there. However I have a large cage which I bought for about $200 about 100 pounds? but my starter cage was a standard 18 by 20 which was only like $50 or 25 pounds? I buy food for 3 birds once a month at about 7$ or about 3.5 pounds? Also over here I bought 2 of my birds from a breeder and I got them for about 75$ or about 35 pounds. One of them I got from the store which was 150$ or about 75 pounds. So it just depends were you get them from but cockatiels are a lovely pet. If you would like a more quiet bird try to get females they are the lighter colored ones and the males are darker colored. Males do learn to whistle and some talk..mine knows the kill bill song so its fun but also I cant get him to not scream when I want it to be quiet so choose wisely!

What does it cost monthly to own a parakeet?

keeping a parakeet is very inexpensive.

The cage will be the most expensive thing you buy...

Their food usually runs about 10-15 dollars for a 5lb bag, and that bag lasts for several months.
Toys are cheap, depending on what you get will probably cost anywhere from 5-25 dollars, and
unlike a cat or dog the toys usually last a long time... all my parakeets toys lasted their entire lives..

In other words, you will be able to afford your bird with your job...birds are one of the cheapest and smartest (quite as it's kept) pets, and thats why I LOVE them

How much does pitbull food cost, monthly?

There is no specific food for different breeds. RAW or BARF really is the best option for any dog breed and actually cost less in the long run vs. feeding kibble.
But if you go with kibble go with something high quality to support the Pits muscle growth.

Theres Avo Derm, it would cost about $50 a month. So would good brands like Blue Buffalo, Eagle Pack, Halo Spot's, Holistic, Innova, Merrick.... Anything all natural.
Also, any of these can be bought at places like Petco or Petsmart.

What is the usual monthly cost for a leopard gecko?

Initial setup:
you need a cage (at least $10 if you go with a 10-gallon, larger is better), a heat pad (it's good to prop the tank up on tiles and stick the heat pad to another tile, so there's 1/4" or so of space between the pad and the cage; cost is around $20), at least 2 hides (you can make these from margarine tubs or the like, or buy them for ~$5-20), a water dish (likewise, or buy one for $5 or so; make sure your leo can't drown in it), calcium powder, something to keep their food in (which varies based on what you feed them, but a commercial cricket keeper is ~$10-15, and you can get a tote or the like for roaches for $10 or less), some kind of substrate (I use paper towels), and something to hold moisture in their moist hide (I like sphagnum moss, you can probably get more than you'll need for several years for ~$5)

It's also a Very Good Idea to get a thermometer (el cheapo stick-on types are $1-3, if you use those get 2, one for each side; better quality ones are ~$10-20), a wire mesh lid (usually $10 or so) and a calcium dish. A light (~$10-20 for a cheap one that will work, just use a regular bulb) and timer (a cheap plug-in $5-10 timer will be plenty) are also good. Wouldn't hurt to get a book on leopard gecko care, either.

Ongoing costs:
new substrate every week or so (cost varies from pennies if you use paper towels, to a few bucks a month if you use reptile carpet and discard it after a few washings)
Food (most feeder insects will run you about $3/week, I think, unless you breed your own)
Food for the food (can range from free kitchen scraps to ~$5/jar pre-made cricket food that will last a month or so I think, if you only keep insects long enough to gutload them; less, if you're breeding)
Electricity to run the heater and (if applicable) lights (varies wildly)
calcium powder (a ~$5 jar will last you rather a while--but don't be chintzy with it, MBD is bad)
Bleach and water for cleaning and sanitizing the cage (shouldn't cost much, one bottle should last you a year or more if you use it only for that--more if you use a special reptile-safe sanitizer instead of bleach--be sure the cage/cage furniture is well-rinsed and fume-free before your leo's around it)

So, after all's said and done, after an initial setup in the neighborhood of $50-100 (not counting the lizard), you're looking at a weekly cost in the neighborhood of $5/week, I think.

How much does 1 hamster cost per month?

SOOOO cheap.
i had a Robo Hamster and she barely cost anything! i just got the big size bag of bedding of both types, the regular and the pine kind... and than i mixed them in bags and it lasted me for like a year.. both bags cost probably no more than $10 each. and food is like $8 a bag and hamsters don't eat much, i'd fill up my hamsters eating container like once a week and that's what she ate ( make sure they eat ALL their food, my hamster like to hide her food which made me think she ate it all but in reality it was hidden. i would just take it out of her hiding place, and back into the bowl every 3 days.) i also gave my hamsters treats every day. and the bag is like maybe $5 and it'll last you all month.

so start up costs for the hamster the first month would be probably like $35-$40. and after that every month IF you have to buy food and treats every month should come out to maybe $15.
super cheap. and the best pet. i'd go out at night and come home late, she'd be the only one to be up when i got home and she would be all happy and excited! =)
