What was the best year of school for you?

This isn’t even close. Senior year hands-down.At the end of my Junior Year I lost a significant amount of weight, fixed some personal problems in my life, and cleaned up my thoughts and mind.At the very outset of Senior Year I broke up with my girlfriend-ending a toxic relationship.I felt like a bird set free from its cage. My life went from “mediocre and dull” to “thrilling and stimulating” within the course of a few short months. The best part? My situation didn’t change an ounce. All the changes came from inside my own mind-the result of personal decisions.I’m about to start a new adventure in the form of college…Let’s hope things just get better from here.

my senior year. after college decisions come in, i felt real chill at school since i knew i was going to go to college lol. I just focused on keeping my grades above a B and during finals, i barely studied since i knew i would pass

What is the best year of high school?

It all depends on the person and his/her opinion of high school; in my honest opinion, I would definitely say that my junior and senior years were by and far the best years of my academic career, given that, during the course of both years, for the first time in my life, all of my academic marks were a C or higher, and for the first time, I made the Honor Roll (meaning that my Grade Point Average or GPA was a 3.0 or higher). In May of 2003, I graduated from high school, marking a perfect end to my high school career. All of my frustrations regarding trying to keep my grades up and not getting on people's bad side was now behind me.

When Was Your Best Year In School?

Mine was three separate years:

5th grade - my last year in elementary school and I don't exactly remember a whole lot, but I do remember enjoying that year. My grades were excellent and had lots of friends. I remember one special day, it was a half day, the day right before Christmas break and we made gingerbread man houses with cream cheese icing and graham crackers, mmmm good.

8th Grade - My last year in middle school. Everyday at recess me and about 5 other guys would play football. We took several field trips that year. Had my first girlfriend. Had my first kiss. Good times!

My senior year in high school - Awesome year! Had several friends in every class. Took an online class got done with all the work in 3 weeks had the rest of the semester off. Would skip school all day on every other Friday. Leave during lunch, go up to Mcdonald's. I graduated early, I was done in December. My 12th grade year was by far the best. Awesome times!

*weird all of my best years in school, were my last years at that particular school. Elementary, middle then high*

What was your worst and best year in high school?

I am starting my senior year of high school on the 6th. Thus far, my best year was junior year (11th grade), and the worst was sophomore year (10th grade). 10th grade - I took my first AP class: AP World. I desperately fell behind in the class and could not catch up. I began to not do the work, and then not understand any of the material. I actually failed a quarter (my first failing, EVER). Because of this class, all my other classes went downhill. I got a 78 on my trig regents, and then a 78 on the retake. My grades were not up to par with how I normally did. I got a 2 on the AP test, meaning I got no AP credit for the class (which colleges can use, etc...). I did awful the whole year, and that, along with a bunch of sickness and stress, made that year terrible for me. I seriously picked it up in 11th grade. 11th - I took 2 AP classes: AP Languge and Composition and AP US History. I did extremely well in the classes and was able to get a 5 on the English AP test and a 4 on the US. My grades remained relatively high, for the most part, and I was happier and felt better about my self. Still did not do as well as I would've liked, but my grades were alright. I also found out my class rank was 34 out of about 360 kids, which is alright; I would've liked higher, but, because of 10th grade, it ruined my shot at a better one. If I had done better, I could be top 20, maybe even top 10.

Best and worst year of high school ?

I haven't been in high school for over four years, but I'd say 11th grade and 10th grade tie as best, 12th is second, and 9th is last. I didn't know that many people yet in 9th grade and those I did know were mostly from middle school, and my middle school friends kind of sucked looking back. Then in 10th grade I met the main group of people I ended up hanging out with that year and 11th grade. They were mostly people who graduated the year before me though, so that's why 12th grade wasn't as good since they were gone, although by then I had other friends who were in my own grade, so really 12th grade was almost as good. Plus the classes I took that year were the most fun since I had most of the required courses out of the way by then. So it's a close second.

POLL: What was your best school year? Your worst?

My best school year was probably last year because I made so many great friends and because I began dating my boyfriend.
My worst school year was 7th grade, I had a lot of problems that year.

What was the hardest year of law school for you?

Nobody gave the traditional answer, so I will. In first year, they scare you to death. Second year, they work you to death. Third year, they bore you to death. This is cute, but real. First year is a frightening experience as you realize that you haven’t a clue how to square the cases you are reading. The logical rubrics you have learned through all of your prior education, thereby earning those top undergraduate or graduate school honors, just don’t work. And, at least one of your professors keeps putting on the enormous pressure that you will likely feel in the future when 1, 3, 9, or an en banc court is interrupting your carefully constructed argument. Perhaps another professor is like my kindly contracts professor who was much more gentle and friendly as he answered every question and every posit with another perplexing question. Either way, you still haven’t bought a clue, and more study often doesn’t help.By second year, you’ve either washed out or gotten a hint. But, now you start learning a bit about how lawyers think as you apply that hint to areas of law. You’ve become more efficient, but it doesn’t feel like that. If you’ve done well, you can also add that this is the year you’ve made law review, and you are editing articles and drafting your own note in your “spare” time, while you seek out internships with real lawyers and your significant other is telling you that they’ve had enough of your ignoring them.By third year, you just want a job, but you are getting to choose elective areas of study. You are likely finding out that the law thinks like lawyers. New areas just aren’t as hard as they should be. It’s actually just deadly dull, and it is hard to maintain the same energy and devotion that drove you through the first and second years. As I read through the other answers, I read different opinions about which of these years is the hardest. They are all hardest, but your least favorite depends on whether you least prefer being scared to death, worked to death, or bored to death.
