Whata Advantages Do I Have Over Other Applicants When Applying A Cabin Crew Job

When applying for Qatar Airways cabin crew positions, could there be an advantage in mentioning a referral employed at Qatar Airways?

It wouldnt hurt by mentioning that you know someone working in the company. But hopefully that person you know and would mention have excellent performance records. But i think regardless if we mentioned that we know someone or not, it wouldnt decrease/increase our chances to get the Cabin Crew job. The whole Cabin Crew recruitment process is different than their other departments.I never read/heard anyone mentioning that they knew someone in the company and they mentioned this in their application and their chances increased and they got the Cabin Crew job.

Is a cabin crew job a good idea after doing hotel management?

Cabin crew and Hotel management are fields that look similar but are totally different fields . Whatever your priorities are, you can see the advantages and disadvantages as follows:HOTEL MANAGEMENT:Market is comparatively very saturated, not a lot of jobs available. You need to prove yourself to go higherYou have more grow options and a much higher ladder to climb here ( so you also end up getting for money)You have fixed working hours and are free to do whatever you want to do after that and where ever you want to go , no restrictionsYou get the perks to stay in the chain of hotel that you are working for , if you go to a different city or even to a different country depending upon the chain of hotels that you work forCABIN CREW IN AIRLINES:A lot of Jobs are available, along with comparatively better starting packageNot much room to go up the ladderRoof salary possible max to max is 1 lakh per month ( can go much higher in Hotel management)Very weird timings , some days at 3 am in the morning to some times at 9 pm at night, and also your one day off in 7 days many not be a Sunday ( takes a troll on your body as you age, leads to various health problems)On your off days you just can’t go anywhere , you need to inform in advance if you are heading out of town as you many be needed in case of a sudden change in flights. If you don’t care about the money and love to travel to various countries , then this is the thing to do!You always have the option to become the pilot after working for few years as cabin crewMy final thought is that if there is a present financial situation then please yes do get a Cabin crew job. But if it isn't anything like that and if you are feeling stagnant in your current job , read book , grow your skills and introspect. Try to change your job. You will go higher and will be more satisfied in the long run.If travel isn't your thing and you are planning to join Cabin crew in an airlines just because there are a lot job opportunities there and current higher salary, just hold on my friend in a few years from now you wouldn't regret a thing .

Should I attend Frankfinn to train for a cabin crew job?

Hey!I would like to ask you some questions first-Do you have a good command over English?Do you know basic grooming?Do you know basic do's and don'ts while giving an interview? If your answer is yes or maybe you absolutely don't need to go to any training institute. And if your answer is no, there is a good news for you too. You too can crack those interviews, you need to work just little harder.Good communication skills, proper grooming and some preparation for the interview and you are good to go. The interviews are really that easy!If you are weak at English, start practicing. Speak to everyone around you in English and mostly with yourself, as you speak with yourself the most. For proper grooming and interview skills follow Youtubers who are cabin crew themselves. You can learn a lot many things like the way you need to put make up, how to dress up, the way you need to talk, walk and behave during an interview. The interviewers don't expect the perfect grooming. You just need to look presentable so that they can see you as a part of their cabin crew team. When you can learn all this without spending a penny why waste your money over something which isn't even needed in first place. A lot of people crack interviews without any such coaching. And yes just like any other college they give you 100% assistance for getting a job but they don't guarantee you a job. Getting the job is then in your hands, and if you are good enough you don't need any training institute. You can just go to walk in interviews and still get selected.Hope this helps! :)

In a job interview, what's the best answer for this question "What's your edge over the other applicants?"

I'm going to answer this question a little differently:Assuming you haven't seen the other applicants' CV's and don't know what their level of experience is, this is the approach I take:I focus on personality after all, they may have the same level of experience as you do, but they probably don't have the same kind of personalityPlug your personality based skills, for instance: your strong work ethic – you get the job done whether it means staying putting in extra hours or staying late.Your high level of resilience; if you fail to come up with the right solution nine times, you won't be discouraged and will try a tenth time,And your overall positive attitude: you see opportunities where others see limitations and you remain optimistic, never letting failure interfere with your will to do a good job.Emphasise your positive personality traits, relevant to the job and you'll impress the employer. For more job search info, visit www.graduatejobinaweek.co.uk– it will launch next week and will have all kinds of tips and tricks on how to get a graduate job fast.

What is the procedure of the recruitment of cabin crew in Indigo Airlines?

I gave the interview on 9th September 2017 in Delhi. Fst round is there itself in which there are silly stupid questions asked. Then if you get selected you are given a letter in which date and venue for the second round is mentioned otherwise they say we ll give you a call within 24 hours or something like that. Second round at headquarters where there is Gd my topic was books are beneficial or not then if ypu get selected there is a pre medical test in which height weight SCARS are checked. IF YOU HAVE ANY VISIBLE SCARS DONOT WASTE YOUR TIME there becoz they dont accept even a small scar. They reject you there itself. Why is it so hard to get hired by Air Canada as a flight attendant?

It’s a highly sought-after job and the benefits of the job (ie travelling around the world) tend to attract many applicants. Many applicants have trouble getting in simply because they don’t speak French.Canadian French for Flight Attendants is a start-up that teaches French specifically to flight attendants, which you may find useful.Besides the obvious skill sets (customer service, problem solving, approachable, positive personality, safety-oriented, etc.), one thing that Air Canada looks for is language. Besides English, Air Canada (and most other major Canadian airlines for that matter) heavily favour applicants who speak French. As Canada is a bilingual country, it is necessary that airlines cater to their bilingual (English/French) clientele. Other languages that Air Canada uses on their routes (Chinese, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.) are nice, but none are as important as French/English. So if your applying for a position in a less francophone area of the country (ie Toronto/Calgary/Vancouver), where it’s hard for them to find French-speakers, then learning French will give you a huge advantage.(Speaking from my experience knowing a few insider flight attendants recruiters.)Best of luck.

Question about Finnair flight attendant training?

If the course if free of charge then yes you will be expected to work for Finnair and also you will need to speak both fluent English and Finnish, you will also be required to move to Helsinki.
However it may be like the Ryanair Training course where you will have to pay for a course, the cost is roughly £2000 ($3600)
British Airways is the best paying airline for FA's I know of however it is difficult to get on their training programme and there is a long waiting list, but the Middle Eastern Airlines are hiring such as Etihad, Emirates and Qatar Airways if you work for them you will enjoy benefits such as tax free salary, food allowance, accomodation allowance and transport allowances but you will have to relocate to Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
As for the other airlines you mentioned in your questions there are an awful lot of applicants for these jobs and many younger people have had to work for low cost airlines on tiny salaries
For example I know a former classmate of mine who applied for jobs with Virgin, British Airways and Aer Lingus she got none of them even though she was bright and spoke 3 languages and she ended up paying for a Ryanair course and works for them at £12 per flight
Best way to get these jobs are to get brilliant grades, speak over 2 languages and be prepared to take pay cuts
However being an FA is a brilliant job as you get your hotel and food expenses covered plus you see lots of the world depending the airline you work for
Best of Luck !!!!! :)
