What are some examples of foreshadowing in the book Separate Peace?

Prior to his flashback, the older Gene makes reference to a “death by violence” and to fears that he had at school, which are associated with a flight of marble steps and a tree. These remarks foreshadow Gene’s revelation of Finny’s two accidents: the falling from the tree and the falling down the steps.

Examples of foreshadowing in the book: Catching Fire?

Just off the top of my head, I can only think of one example - though there may be a lot more throughout the book.

The watch of someone from the Capitol was branded with a Mockingjay: it worked as a clue for Katniss (as the arena ended up being like a clock/watch).
The Mockingjay on the watch disappears. Katniss is the "Mockingjay", it's foreshadowing how Katniss disappears from the Capitols sight and went into hiding at the end of the book.

Does that make sense? I hope that's what you were looking for.

What are examples of poems with similes, personification, and metaphors?

AdonisThe poet from Arab. He hates the status quo of his country, about politics, religion, and wars. So there are a lot of poems that shout to against the situation, they are tough and sharp, but pass all of that, something hidden is a heart that hot and soft.‘What is the prevailing morality?’‘Candle, that is about to extinguish in a suffocating cave.’‘The land of Arad is sad, her sadness is the wrinkle on the forehead of language.’‘Time stopped in Arab’s society. Despite this, it looks like only the time is still working.’‘Despair has fingers, but it only could catch the butterfly that dead already. ’‘Metaphor is a migration. Between fire and fire, between death and death.’Wound (Selected)If I had a harbor in the landof dreams and mirrors, if I had a ship,if I had the remainsof a city, if I had a cityin the land of children and weeping,I would have written all this down for the wound’s sake,a song like a spearthat penetrates trees, stone, and sky, soft like waterunbridled, startling like conquest.Desert (Selected)You will see—say his namesay you drew his facereach out your hand toward himor smileor say I was happy onceor say I was sad onceyou will see:there is no country there. Some information is from the internet.AdonisAdunis - Wikipedia

Foreshadowing in the book the hunger games?

you should know all this if you have read the book.

katniss and peeta. in earlier part of the book, it explains about how she and peeta met and how she's known him (but never talked to him) until the time he gives her the bread needed. that's foreshadowing because it develops part of the plot. the book is about the hunger games [duh!] and peeta is part of it. this helps the reader understand the main involvements.

u can pick out more. plenty of foreshadowing is seen throughout the book.

Examples of figurative language in the hunger games?

there are quite a few possibilities. you can look for : imagery, simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, hyperbole etc.
