When Amazon Uk Says My Package Will Arrive In 3-12 Days How Long Does It Usually Take

What time do packages usually arrive from Amazon?

Packages arrive when they are delivered. A route man does not make a beeline from his facility to your home. He has a route to follow. And it's not 9PM yet. It might not actually get delivered today in spite of your choice of next day delivery. There is many a slip twixt the cup and the lip. If it doesn't get delivered today, it will be delivered on the next business day.

BTW, nothing is scanned (and therefore can't be tracked) while it is in transit. It is not scanned while it is on a truck, for instance, so you will NOT be able to track it minute by minute.

What exactly does 'five business days' mean?

A "business day" is a working day, typically Monday through Friday in the United States, unless it is a holiday. Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days.Common holidays in the US are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day in some areas, Thanksgiving Day (and, since Thanksgiving is on a Thursday, often the day after Thanksgiving), and Christmas Day. The US federal government observes a few more holidays, and state or local governments and private businesses may observe a different set.Five business days would then be five days, only counting the days that are not excluded above. You would not count a holiday or a weekend day as a business day.

Does dying your hair blonde from brown damage it? (ppl with experience regarding this are extremely helpful!)?

Actually, I have the exact same hair colors as you do! lol. My hair is thick and wavy. I'm sorry to tell you, I stopped dying my roots several months ago, but my hair grew out pretty cool looking.^.^ If your hair is naturally coarse, I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe the type of dye you used is to blame. I used Manic Panic Flash Lightning Vol. 30-40 and used it at home. It worked really well for me and my hair felt/looked fine. Also, I used Virgin Snow toner (it goes on purple, of course.) which left my hair feeling even better from what I remember...more like a cream rinse than a toner, dare I say. Now that I'm swimming four days a week though, my hair is a little drier than usual...but anyway, occasionally I'll do a Pantene deep conditioning treatment. It's affordable and effective. It has a blue lid, it's in a cube-shaped container, it says medium-THICK hair solutions TREATMENT intensive restoration treatment. It works pretty well. =) and it's a once a week deal, so not too much effort. I've also found that I really like (even though it's much pricier than normal shampoos/conditioners.) Biolage Hydratherapie. I use it once in a while if my hair is being particularly naughty. Otherwise I just use Suave Professionals Rosemary + Mint stuff.

Things I would advise against:
-Using VO5 Clarifying Shampoo/Conditioner after swimming. Vile, VILE stuff.
-Not wetting your hair with fresh water before swimming.
(I suppose those were just about swimming...=P)

Definitely:
-Rinse your hair after swimming and DO NOT let it dry with pool water in it.
-Use a deep conditioner/leave in conditioner once a week at least.
-Experiment to find what's best for you.

Students at IITs/BITS are getting a package of 2 crores. Why do companies like Facebook, Google, etc. offer such a huge package to IITians/BITSians?

They’re not huge packages. In fact, it is very mediocre pay when you consider the places these companies are situated and the kind of taxes that they have to pay.Entry level software engineers to these companies are usually paid around $100,000 dollars an annum (which is 60 lacs). The ‘2 crore package’ news that you see is nothing but a hyperinflation, taking stock bonuses, joining bonus and relocation bonus all into one. With $100,000 in a place like San Francisco, you’ll struggle to make ends meet if you go in with a mindset of living the extravagant life. Out of the $100k, around $35–40k will go as taxes. That leaves you with around $60k.SF Bay Area has one of the highest rent rates in the world. Even to rent a hut, you’ll have to shell out at least $20k a year. A decent house with all basic amenities will cost you around $30k. And forget about getting a new house. The minimum salary that can sustain the mortgage payments for the cheapest of houses in SF is $170,000; which is 70% more than what you earn. It’ll take you at least 5 years to command that kind of salary. So, you’re left with $30k now. Labor is insanely costly in the United States. You’ll be paying people between $10 and $15 an hour for tasks such as plumbing, carpentering, mowing the lawn etc. There is no way you could afford a maid or a domestic worker with that kind of salary so expect to do all the cooking, cleaning and laundry yourself.Even if you live on a frugal diet and spend very little on third party labor, the maximum you’ll end up saving is $2–3k. And if you’re the kind of person who likes spending the weekends out partying, then you won’t be left with even that. No wonder the Americans have close to zero lifetime savings. So, if you think getting a job at one of these MNCs will make you rich beyond imagination, think again. It is only the beginning of your career. Don’t have unrealistic expectations about the kind of wealth you can accumulate at such a young age. Getting into these companies directly after college is, no doubt, a fantastic achievement but it’ll still take years before you can walk into any restaurant and order wine without gasping at the price tag.

What does "3 business days" mean?

In the Western world, 'business days' are traditionally Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday marking the weekend. Of course, for good or ill, fewer are working the traditional working week, but you'll find that many customer-facing businesses are only open between 9:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. Try getting an appointment with a lawyer or a medical specialist or any Government office outside these hours. So '5 business days' (or any number of business days) indicates a number of traditional working days before something happens. So if today is Wednesday and a business you are dealing with says that you will be paid in 5 business days, I would take that to mean that you will be paid on the following Wednesday. In practice, 5 business days normally means a week. If there is a public holiday within the next week, say the following Monday, then in the example I gave, you would not expect to be paid before the following Thursday.Often someone might say something will take 'up to' 5 business days. That means, if today is Wednesday, it will happen next Wednesday or sooner (assuming no public holiday before then). I would ring up and complain early on the morning of Thursday next week if it hadn't happened by then.

What is the difference between an L1-Blanket and an L1-Individual Visa?

Essentially the L1-Blanket is designed for corporations to be eligible to mainstream the transfer of L1 employees to work in the US. Once the company has the L1-Blanket Visa they can quickly transfer people without having to file a petition with INS, but instead are only required to submit a form to the U.S. consulate to grant the transfer. To obtain the L1-Blanket the company must meet a set of specific requirements.Have a U.S. office for at a minimum of 1 year.3+ branches or affiliatesMeet one of the following criteria: 1.) annual sales in the U.S. of at least $25 million, 2.) workforce of at least 1000 people, 3.) At least 10 L-1 visas approved in the previous 12 monthsThe L-1 individual visa is based on a single visa intended for only one person at a time.If you are a company (or individual) that is interested in this process, it would be best to consult an immigration attorney to walk you through the process. How many hours will the 12v 200Ah battery last for?

You kind of answer your own question. The 200AH battery can feed 200 Amps for 1 hour, or 100 Amps for 2 hours, or 10 amp for 20 hours. This isn’t actually true, because if I remember correctly the rated capacity is only valid for 20 hour or greater discharge periods. So above 10 Amp, you will get somewhat less than 200AH, and below 10 Amp you will get somewhat more than 200AH, due to heating and other inefficiencies. For slow discharges, you will also need to take into account the self discharge rate, at which the battery will discharge even with no load. All of the reasons why a battery will depart from its rating depend on the battery chemistry, the temperature, etc. etc.
