When Did East Carolina Football Team Become A Fbs Program

What is a directional school with repect to college football?

North Texas
East Carolina
Central Florida
East Michigan
Southeastern Louisiana
Southern California (yeah, I said it dammit)

Typically the schools aren't very good. Not because of location...they just have a lineage of sucking.

What states do Oregon Ducks football players tend to come from?

The state of Oregon has a modest population and historically has not produced a large number of FBS/Div 1A football players. The Oregon football program has therefore had to go out of state for the vast majority of its players. Oregon recruiting used to be essentially limited to the west. More players came from California than any other state, and Colorado was more or less the eastern boundary of the recruiting area. Things have changed since Mike Bellotti installed the spread offense in 2005, Chip Kelly arrived as offensive coordinator in 2007, and Oregon began performing at an elite level. California still provides more players than any other state, but Oregon recruiting is clearly national today. This year's early enrollees are from Tennessee, Georgia, Hawaii, Missouri, and California (two), with all rated four stars by Rivals. Committed players are from California (seven), Minnesota, Georgia, Hawaii (two), Washington, and Texas. The players being recruited for the 2015 class are from New York, Louisiana, California, and elsewhere. Last year, signees were from Arizona (two), California (ten), Nevada, Texas (two), Florida (two), Louisiana, Oregon, Idaho, and Kansas. The 2013 class included players from Arizona (two), Oregon (three), California (seven), Nevada, Texas (two), Washington, New Jersey, Georgia, and North Carolina.

What do you think of Clemson's win over Alabama in the College Football national championship game?

I’m elated. The ACC has now won 3 out of the last 6 national championships in football. The SEC is still the best football conference in the nation, no one sane disagrees with that, but the ACC has proven to be a respectable alternative for recruits across the Eastern part of the USA and, for some recruits, it is the best combination of athletic competition and academics.I did not think Clemson’s defensive backs could deal with Alabama’s explosive wide receiver’s all game especially when it is so hard to stop Alabama’s devastating running game. One Clemson safety got benched early. Clemson’s safeties are not great players but they are not awful either. You had to hold your breath and hope Alabama could not exploit that part of Clemson’s defense.Clemson won the special teams battle.Clemson won the turnover battle.Nick Saban panicked, so unlike him, when he called the fake field goal down 16–31. If he takes the field goal, a bit of a risk, because his kicker was shaky, he closes to 19–31 with plenty of time left. But he called a fake and Clemson ate it up. All the breaks went Clemson’s way and Clemson’s quarterback got more confident as the game went on. Clemson’s wide receivers were spectacular. It was a huge win for Dabo Swinney. Alabama will be back with fury and anger but this night belonged to the disrespected ACC and the surging Clemson Tigers who played aggressively and played to win. How did Clemson deal with Alabama’s terrifying pass rush? They blocked them. They put a hat on a hat. They won the individual battles that lead to big plays.

If Pitt wins the ACC Coastal Division, will that significantly impact UCF's chances for a playoff bid?

If Pitt wins the Coastal it would have absolutely no impact on UCF playoff bid.Howeveh, ( in my southern drawl) if Pitt upsets Clemson in ACC Championship game and some other things* fall into place then UCF would make the playoffs.*other things; Bama wins out. And/or ND loses twice or very badly. Ohio St loses before the Michigan game, beats Michigan. Michigan loses in Big 10 Championship game. Oklahoma loses again. Washington St loses in PAC 12 Championship game. Not all of these have to happen, but enough.Dont be discouraged. In the history of the BCS and the playoff series. One team makes the playoffs from the 8,9,10 spot in the first ranking. It happens almost every year.

What are the smallest division 1 schools?

In fall 2016, Clarion University's student body totaled 5,225 students, of which 4,330 were undergraduates and 895 of those were graduate students.[1]I think 4,330 undergraduate students qualifies as small. The Golden Eagles wrestle in the Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) and participate in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as well. They qualify for the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships as Division I members of the EWL.[2]Footnotes[1] Clarion University of Pennsylvania - Wikipedia[2] Clarion Golden Eagles wrestling - Wikipedia
