When Do You Think My Phone Will Come

I I think my maid is stole my phone, but i don't wanna accuse her without proof.?

I f/13 I think my maid is stole my phone, but i don't wanna accuse her without proof. So i was going to my singing class and i told my mom that I'm going to the bathroom before we leave, so i went and used my phone while in the bathroom and what happened after was a blur i don't really remember. So next thing I'm in the car and I'm kinda complaining to my mom that i forgot my phone and then I'm like ok when i come bak i get it and now that i came back, i asked the housekeeper if she has it and she says she doesn't. Now the reason that i kinda suspect from her is because, her brother got in jail and they needs like 2000 and something dollars to get him out, and she's poor (i hated saying that) so maybe she thinks she can take the phone, sell it, and get her brother out of jail. i really don't know what to do, my mom is suspicious too. She didn't tell me, but i can see it in her face. Someone please help!!

What do you think me getting my phone taken away at school?

It really doesn't matter if it is YOUR phone or not. It is HER classroom, and the school rules and classroom rules apply while you are attending school. You should have had the phone put away until after school. I am a teacher, and I actually had a student's phone go off in the middle of class (and this is fifth grade!). I made the student take it to the office with a note and called down at the office to let them know she was bringing it to the office. If you think THAT was harsh what you went through...this student will not get her phone back until the parent retrieves it.

New roommate won't stop cranking the heat up... Do you think I'd be rude to remove the thermostat?

I have four roommates in total, who rent rooms off from me. I had a new guy move in last month who has some sort of vascular condition that causes him to feel cold constantly. He wears heavy layers of clothes, but still tends to really crank the heat up any time he has a chance, which makes the place uncomfortable for my other roommates and myself.

I can appreciate the guy's got a medical condition, but I don't think the rest of us should have to suffer because of it. Also, I don't want a jacked up gas bill.

One of my roommates wants to remove the thermostat completely and replace it with one controlled by my phone. Do you think this would be too harsh considering the guy's only motivated by a medical condition?

Do you think it is bad to tell a teacher no when you aren’t comfortable doing something?

So today, my French teacher told me to bring up my phone to her desk because I wasn’t supposed to be on it. So I said no. She said “pardon?” I responded by saying no, im texting my mom about my medicine. She told me to let her see it. So I just said no. She sent me to the office and they just said I could finish my texting and then just go back to class. They really didn’t seem to care at all. I understand teachers having a no phone policy while in class. My problem is she wanted to read through my texts with my mother. I feel that my texts are personal. I feel that this is especially true when it comes to my medication. Its kept legally confidential for a reason. I feel like I was in the right. What do you think? I also have a medical sheet on file with the school that explains that I have a chronic medical issue and I provided the teacher with a copy.
