When I Chew My Food Is Hurts Under My Left Eye

When i chew my food my jaw hurts?

Hi, it's very common for our jaws to hurt when we chew every now and then so i'd keep an eye on it and see if it continues.
However I think that it's likely that you are developing problems with your TMJ. This is the joint in the jaw which allows us to eat, swallow and talk freely. There are multiple problems which can occur such as arthritis, a displaced disk ( this allows us to open our jaw without pain or a clicking or popping noise), over worked muscles or impact.
It sounds to me like you have overworked muscles which is what's causing the pain in your jaw. This is probably down to you clenching and grinding your teeth at night. By doing this your are straining your muscle's which is what is causing the pain. If the discomfort continues i'd go speak to your dentist. Grinding and clenching can be stopped by having a specially made mouth guard put in your mouth before bed. This acts like a cushion and when you clench it tells your jaw to relax, therefor relaxing your muscles.

I doubt that it has anything to do with your tooth on the other side, and if you do have TMJ problems then it'll most likely hurt a bit tomorrow as your jaw will be stretched for a longer period of time. I hope the tooth extraction goes well, and i hope you find some relief for your jaw.
Good luck =D

When I chew on any food there is this pain near my left eyebrow?

It could be temporal arteritis, or trigeminal neuralgia. You'd have to give me more details than one sentence. Age, sex, onset of symptoms, circumstances, etc...........

My ear hurts when I chew food?

It probably is a middle ear infection or something wrong with the eustachian tube. Chances are you just have a build up of fluids in your middle ear (otitis media). The reason it hurts when you chew gum is because chewing motion automatically opens up the eustachian tube which is meant to equalize pressure. I am guessing it probably hurts if you yawn too.

When I chew my food, is hurts under my left eye?

It sounds to me like either a tooth problem or your sinus's. If it's in your upper jaw bone, it might be that tooth that you said you just had filled. Give it a few days to settle down. If it still hurts then, call your dentist and tell them about it.

When I have a sinus infection, it never hurts under my eyes or anywhere else. But my best friend always gets pain under her eyes when she has a sinus infection. Again, if it doesn't subside in a day or 2 go see a doctor. You will probably need an antibiotic.

Why does the side of my nose hurt when i chew?

there is a muscle that goes from your jaw to your nose, to much chewing can annoy this muscle, try rubbling whale sperm on your nose every few hours for about five minutes, you should do this for a week.

My left cheekbone hurts, what could it be?

Many people can and do develop one sided sinus problems. If you think it might be your sinus try some over the counter saline drops in your nose to help clear the sinus cavity or just make your own with clean warm water and salt. You can use a dropper, a spoon, a creased paper cup with the solution in it to pour into one side of your nose and let it run out the other side. Then repeat this on the other side of the nose. Repeat about every 4 hours.

Salt is a natural antibiotic that has been used for centuries to cure sore throats, sore mouth or gums, dental problems and sinus problems.

There is also a device that is called a 'Nettie Pot" which you can buy at any Pharmacy or even at Walmart and you put your warm water salt solution in it and clean your sinus out.

If you think it is your sinus you might also want to take an over the counter sinus medication to clear the head and sinus.

If none of this works then you might want to see a doctor to determine what the problem is. Some people that I have know have even gotten a cyst in their sinus cavity that has to be removed and it does make it sore and closes the area making it hard to breath.

I'm not sure if you know but there are natural things that many people do for Bells Palsy. Many people take Vitamin B12 and some use many other remedys and have gotten really good results. I do think everyone that has this disease should be on an anti-viral /antibiotic medication from the start to try to keep it under control at the beginning and adding other natural remedys do help many people to recover quickly.
I'm not sure if you know but many people who have high blood pressure and even diabetics are prone to Bells Palsy so just make sure you keep those diseases under control. I would always suggest that anyone who has this disease make sure they have an MRI of their head to make sure there are no underlying disease.

You can look up natural cures for bells palsy on the internet and there are some dicussion sites for Bells Palsy patients online also. You might also check with your local health food store to see what they recommend for Bells Palsy patients.

Having pain when chewing food.?

I am having a sharp pain in the bridge of my nose, right between my eyes, while I am chewing. When i am not chewing i am fine, but when I chew something crunchy that requires me to bite down... my nose gets a sharp pain right behind the bridge of my nose. I recently had a bad cold and have had a runny nose, cough, and nasal drip. Anyone have experience with this?

Why does my right eye hurt when i chew something crunchy on the right side of my mouth?

Referred pain? It sounds like you might have a cavity or some other tooth problem.
