When sending mail to someone, my name shows the wrong name, How do i fix this?
when i opened my account online, my bill was under my nieces name and her name would show up instead of mine when sending an e-mail. That was many years ago. My personal info is accurate in my profile,but it still shows up as my niece's name when i send mail. How do i fix this? thank you.

I just called this guy John, Jeff.... in an email, after having a good talk on the phone with him, and I just wanted to make it look better by emailing him back stating I was looking forward to meeting him FOR MY INTERVIEW! ... The TO name comes from your contact list. You are probably referring to the FROM address. There are two ways to change the FROM name depending on whether you have Classic or New Yahoo Mail. CLASSIC - Click on the following options / mail / general preferences NEW - Click on the following options / mail options / accounts / add or edit an account / edit In both cases you will end up at the General Preferences page where you can change the FROM name. ✩

Mail" under accounts. 4: In the "your 'From' name" field, enter your name exactly as you'd like it to appear within your outgoing messages. 5: If you leave the Reply-To field blank, your Yahoo! Mail address will be automatically included as the return address in your outgoing messages. If you'd like a different return address to be included, enter it in the Reply-To field 6: Click the Save button to put your new settings into effect. Note 1: you have to write something in the "name" field, because if you don't, whatever was written there before will be restored and your changes won't be saved. Please note that it isn't possible to 'hide" your email address when sending messages from a Yahoo! Mail account.
