When I Send Email From Yahoomail Id. I Am Getting Email Bounce Back Due To Yahoo

When using Yahoo! Mail, if I send an email to someone I have blocked, will the person receive it?

With my understanding, I would say yes only if the person has not blocked you also. When you are the only one who has blocked the person will not have a problem for it will be just like any other person that you are sending to that has not heard from you ore have been getting emails from you. So there is no worry if you have not been blocked.

I send an email from my Gmail to my Yahoo account, but it bounced back to me with an error. How do I send the email to my Yahoo mail account?

Sounds like there may be a typo in the email address you used. Without seeing the specific bounce message there are many, many different things that could be causing the issue. Can you post more detail?

Can you bounce emails with Yahoo mail?

This is how you BOUNCE emails in Yahoo....

Usually just clicking on SPAM when you receive the message will direct it to your SPAM FOLDER and any subsequent emails from this person will go there...if that doesn't work try below....

If you are using yahoo classic OR all new mail.....
Go to "Options" It is above your email
Click on "Mail Options"(More options...if in All New Mail)
Click on SPAM
Enter the address you want to block
Click on “Add Block”

On occasion the sender changes their name BEFORE @ so block that DOMAIN the following way...

If you are receiving several emails from the same domain, but various ID's, the easiest way to stop them is to enter the domain into your "Blocked Addresses".

In Yahoo! mail, to block the senders domain (hotmail.com):
◘ Click on "Options, upper right corner of mail page".
◘ Then "Mail Options".
◘ Click on "Spam" from the list on the left.
◘ In the "Add a blocked address" box, enter the domain (only the part of the email address AFTER @, do not include @). Note: I have recently seen where you should have the @ included...try them both.
◘ Click the "Add" button.

Now, any email from that domain, no matter what ID is used to send it, will be blocked.

FINALLY...do not forget to click on SAVE CHANGES at the top of the page......

NOTE: there is a limit of 500 addresses in the Block Address box. There may come a time where you have to go in to this box and delete some.
+++++++++++++++++++++
In addition you can use your FILTERS to send them to the trash or spam folder.
.....click on OPTIONS...MAIL OPTIONS...go to the left side and click on FILTERS...once in click on CREATE OR EDIT FILTERS...then click on ADD...place the site in the box and click on ADD FILTERS..NOTE; this was the only way I could get rid of Yahoo!groups..
Also, when trying to add addresses in the BLOCKED ADDRESS box it will not allow just names...usually has to have a ".com" or something similar following the name. Filters allow you to send just the names you see in your inbox prior to opening the message in to the Spam folder..

When I send email to @yahoo.com accounts, I get "mail system error - returned mail". What's going on?

Here is the message: This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason:

Your message was not delivered because the destination computer was
not reachable within the allowed queue period. The amount of time
a message is queued before it is returned depends on local configura-
tion parameters.

Most likely there is a network problem that prevented delivery, but
it is also possible that the computer is turned off, or does not
have a mail system running right now.

Your message was not delivered within 1 days.
Host yahoo.com is not responding.

I have sent emails to several @yahoo.com addresses, sometimes more than one to the same address, and always get this bounce. I am not sending from Yahoo mail, but I do have a Yahoo account and when I sent email to that account, it did go through without error. Could this have something to do with the "new Yahoo mail"? I haven't switched, but maybe they have? Anyone have any information on this?

Some of my customers are getting the emails they send me bounced back?

You probably have them filtered out. Check your bulk mail folder regularly and add them to your address book.
But if the emails are bouncing back, they might be sending them to an invalid address. Be sure they have your right address.

Why my emails are bouncing back to the sender contact me on cambel28@invol.net?

If you read the Failure notice it will tell you. Other wise I can ramble on all day about
why you got a failure notice.
1. Temporary Suspended Account. From either Sender or receiver.
2. Cancelled account.
3. Full email box.
4. Your on a botnet with a virus and the server returned it because your ISP has stopped
letting you send email until the PC is cleaned of botnet virus.
5. Wrong email address or domain of recipients.
6. Too many email addresses on one sending.
7. One address needs to be corrected before any on a multiple list can be sent.
8. The message took too long and can`t find address so one of the servers gave up.

Sending emails to new zealand keeps getting bounced back?

I have a valid email address for someone in New Zealand. Every time I send an email, I get the mailer demon that It can't be delivered because 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected. Is there something I need to do??

How do you return to sender unwanted email I have yahoo mail and want the sender to know it is undeliverable.?

You're correct----"blocked" emails are deleted by Yahoo, and NOT bounced back to the sender (for security purposes).

The ONLY way to do what you want, is by using a (free) program called "Mailwasher.
Click this link, (below) for information about it.
It allows you to bounce emails back to the sender---saying address not found.

In the case against Spam----Spammers won't waste their time sending, (or sharing your address with their cronies)---if they "think" they have an invalid address---So---Spammers will soon stop sending anything to you. That's the theory anyway, and it seems to work pretty good.

Note: the program is free but limited to one email account.

Block e-mail and bounce back to the sender?

Yahoo doesn't have this option, but Mailwasher does - and it's freeware:

Set up your email account(s) in MailWasher and hit the "Check Mail" button. It then downloads all new message headers and displays message details alongside each one (priority, subject, from, to, etc.).

Any email that MailWasher considers to be spam is highlighted for easy sorting.

Two checkboxes are located next to each message header: "Delete" and "Bounce". If you click "Delete" the email will be marked for deletion, click "Bounce" and the mail will be marked for bouncing - a fake "address not found" email will be sent to the sender.

Once you have decided what to bounce and delete, click "Process Mail" to get it done and your mail client launched for downloading all accepted emails.

MailWasher has a "blacklist" and a "friends list" to enter good and bad email addresses. Addresses in the blacklist are marked for deletion, and addresses in the friends list will be marked as okay.

Filters can be set to increase MailWasher's effectiveness. You can have email addressed to "undisclosed recipients" automatically deleted and bounced for example.

Note: the program is free but limited to one email account, and doesn't include Hotmail support.MW Pro supports multiple mail accounts.
