What is factions in Minecraft?
Factions is a game in Minecraft where you build a base with other players (hence the name Factions), raid others, and try to become the most powerful faction on the server.Various strategies are employed to protect one’s base from raiders, meaning that an average raid amy take upwards of a hour to complete.Normally, these servers are VERY plugin intensive so that the game doesn’t become too easy or impossible.
What Minecraft server have you spent the most time playing?
Fallout Salvation.This server (which I am Head Admin on) is modelled on popular game franchise Fallout.The basis of Fallout is a post nuclear war survival game, which we have taken into Minecraft and created a themed survival/ factions server.I have spent 40 days on this server.We’ve been up about 7 months now.I have spent, give or take, 1/7th of the server’s lifespan online.(Alright, yeah, this includes AFK time, but still)Some of my 40 days’ acheivements:• I am the richest on the server with ~1.5 million caps, which is ~1.2 million richer than the next richest• I have an expansive farm base, some auto, some manual which covers about 300 square blocks. This includes Golem farms, Villager breeders and mcmmo farms (and vanilla farming contraptions too)•I have made spawn twice, and may remake it soon.•Large End base with Enderman Farm and End Gateway ring•Best faction on the server, with the most money and select playersBest of all, none of these were done abusing my gamemode or worldedit permissions (except #3 because that was server work)Come and spend some time on Fallout Salvation too!I don’t recommend 40 days playtime for health reasons, but I’m not stopping you.Play.falloutsalvation.online-Spade_kun
Minecraft Server?
So, I'm sort of a minecraft beginner, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good server that I could join. And maybe how you join... I know about the whole; Direct connect, Enter IP adress, and Join. But I have tried this several times using IP addresses that I have found on the internet and none of them have worked. My version of minecraft is 1.7.7 if that matters or anything.. Thanks so much
What is a good way, to attract people to a minecraft server?
Make a forum for your server as well as some great graphics. Make a few Youtube videos showing off what you offer to the Minecraft community. Try asking to become allies with another server or community so that both servers can gain more people. Make sure to post your server's information on minestatus.net, minecraftforum.net and planetminecraft.com. And add some exciting plugins to spice up game-play.
