Where Can I Find Standard Synth Sound In Fl Studio

How do I master a song with clear and loud sound in FL Studio?

First of all, one should be very clear about mastering the mix. It's not a single virtual knob to deal with. It's a huge concept, require lots of experience. I think, no one till now is the king of mastering, they can't even say themselves, the same.No one can teach you, how to master. It's a self learning process. You'll develop after each and every attempt, examining the sounds with the perfect gear (it's important).Mastering the mix is an art to give the perfect space to each elements, without losing it's significant frequencies, up to the maximum volume(gain) level. In the case of FL studio, inbuilt tools like Maximus (optimize towards the required frequencies), Soundgoodizer (makes sound crispier), Wavecandy (examining the inhead audio distribution & db level) etc. are mostly used.Well, the above mentions uses the basic audio equalization. It's direct and easiest way to do. But, when it comes to channel splitting (mono/ stereo), mechanical arrangements are required, or it can be performed virtually in FL studio. For, this it's mandatory to know about “Mid-side Processing”.What is Mid/Side Processing? In FL studio, Patcher is the ultimate tool to implement Mid-Side Processing. The above arrangements, which allows you to split the optimistized mono & stereo channel passing over Stereo Shaper & then through Fruity Parametric EQ 2, which creates the balanced output.Remember : All these operations are done only in master channel. These are some of the basic theory to do so, but remember again, there is no hard & fast rule for mastering. Everyone is learning by their mistakes. Using tools (vsts/plugins) effectively is also an art. Go! train your ears.

Looking for good guitar vst for fl studio.?

do you know about the fruityslayer that comes preloaded? if not i think its great for the metal / death music. also you as a use of fl have to understand you have to tweak the sounds using say a compressor or reeverb or flanger to add your own personal touch to the sound.i always find the preload will get me like 60 % of what i am looking for and then the other 40 is from me putting effects to it.

ok so an additional site i would try is

http://www.dskmusic.com/

they have like 3 different types of guitars which include a vst specific for electric guitars.
and it is free. honestly dont ever pay for thigs such as this. 99 percent of the time what you are looking for will be online with the same quality for free. maybe 6 years ago paying was reasonable but the world of freeware is huge now. and ok maybe now and again 40 or 50 bucks for a vst is ok.

hope this helps.

Why does FL Studio sound bad? How can I make it sound better?

When you say it sounds bad, what do you mean? I'm reminded of an old saying here in the UK: "A Bad workman blames his tools".In reality, FL Studio, much like any DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is only as good as you make it - I've been a user of FL Studio for around 4 years and I've found that it is one of the easier DAWS to work with - imagine it like a series of lego bricks that you slot together in your playlist to create the song. The bricks are your samples (or synth midi inputs). There may be a number of reasons that it sounds bad - you may have the levels of the tracks wrong - are they correctly assigned to mixer tracks and have you turned the mix down so it peaks at around -5db?Here are some more tips, although hard to pinpoint the problem from such a broad question:Use 'Fruity DB Meter' on the master slot of the mixer - this will show you the level of your mix.Make sure you have everything in the playlist assigned to a mixer slot. Before you export the track you need to make sure you've 'mixed it down', so elements aren't overpowering the rest of the song - the thing I encounter most in demo submissions from new producers are drums that are far too loud for the mix - remember, it's not about volume, its about clarity of the mix!Look at a service called landr (LANDR: Instant Online Audio Mastering Software) for mastering if you don't have experience in this area. Providing your track has been mixed down and peaks at -5db putting it through this software is almost certainly going to make it sound a lot better. Mastering enhances all the elements of the track, and turns it into the commercial product you see released on Beatport/Itunes etc.Hope that helps!

Why does it sound like everyone makes beats with FL studio?

The arguments you make aren't directly related to each other, but they're both very valid.

Producers don't use samples because they cost money and take time to acquire. In today's mainstream hip hop nobody lasts long, so they have to pump out as many beats as they can while their name is still out there. Also, the dumbass listeners that spend $.99 on a track on iTunes, or even worse, buy the ringtone don't care how much work went into the production. They're like those novelty dancing flowers that were popular a while back. They just dance because they hear music. They don't care how good the music is. Why put effort into production if it doesn't matter to the fans? That doesn't excuse producers from being wack though.

On to FL Studio. The song that 54bears posted is a perfect example of why FL Studio is watering down production. That beat was terrible. It lacked originality and sounded like it was put together in 2 minutes. Yet he posted it here like it was going to prove you wrong. Everybody thinks they're a musician because they have a bootleg copy of Fruity Loops and a hard drive full of mp3s to sample. FL Studio itself isn't bad, but nobody uses it right. You can't make a dope beat with just a computer keyboard and a mouse. You at least need a mid-range midi keyboard, a mixer, and a decent pad controller. 90% of these Fruity Loops producers wouldn't even know where to start if you put real equipment in front of them. You don't learn how to produce music from the help menu in FL Studio.
