This seems a very small amount to have as maintenance funds and to cover your tuition fees. You need £1,000 per month of your course up to a max of 9 months if you are studying in London or £800 if you are studying elsewhere. You also need your first years tuition fee or the full cost of your course if it is under 12 months long.

One of the conditions of student visas is proving you will return to your country of citizenship immediately upon completion or termination of full-time studies.
