Which Career Would You Chose Out Of 3 . Pilot Medic Or Engineer

Which carrer do you consider the best; pilot, medic or engineer?

Engineer.OK, I am biased. I am an Engineer. However:Unlike a pilot I get to sleep and home every night. Unlike a Medic I am not spending every day with people who are having the worst day of their lives, and in some cases the last day of their lives.Plus I make more money then both of them. (OK, the highest paid pilots out-earn me, but those are a VERY few pilots who are close to retirement.)

Can I be a pilot after engineering?

Yes, you can become a Pilot after Engineering, but if you really have a passion for flying, you can do your Commercial Pilot License before Engineering. Maybe, immediately after your 10+2 PCM.Start early, so that you can cover great distance in your career. Being an airline pilot can lead to a lucrative paycheck. While the average median salary for airline and commercial pilots in 2017 was close to $112,000, the more experienced and versatile a pilot is, the higher the potential earnings. In addition to work as a commercial pilot, some pilots take on charters or private plane services, which can boost earnings even higher. Some pilots also find side jobs working as flight instructors. There r lots of allowances and benefits. It is easy to find an international job with international base, for a commercial airline pilot. There r plenty of job opportunities in the gulf, and throughout the world. More airplanes, less pilots. Many students have a passion for flying and opt for the profession for the sense of power and freedom it provides them. Very few other professions provide an opportunity to see the world from the sky, and as such, the role holds great appeal to those who have a sense of adventure, who enjoy seeing new places and experiencing new things, and continually meeting new people. There is glamor and appeal in the job of a pilot. Pilots are required to retire by age 65, after which, they have lots of ground instructor jobs or management jobs or consultancy jobs to choose from.

Pilot vs Engineering?

Pilots start their career with a very small salary (flying small commuters) and will reach the top of the salary scale when they are commander on long haul, large passenger aircraft like the 777. And since there are way more small airplanes than big ones, it is not every pilot who will reach the top anyway.

Engineering is perhaps a bit more stable, with a higher starting salary, but perhaps not as much at the top. On the other hand, engineers do not have a mandatory retirement age of 65, nor have to comply with strict medical exams to be kept active.

Aviation is for people who are passionate about it, so if your only concern is cash, why don't you become a cosmetic surgeon instead?

Computer Engineers VS Doctors VS Pilots -------- Who Makes More Money?

In order from most to least:

Doctors
Computer Engineers
Pilots

Yes of course there are your exceptions. A pilot might approach the salary of the engineer later in his/her career...but to reach $90,000 one has had to be a pilot for a long time. So eventually, pilots and the comp engineers might have similar top-out salaries of around $110-130k.

Doctors' salaries blow both out of the water. Doctors make more money than God, in fact.

The reason people think pilot salaries are so high is because you get these newspaper reporters who flunked out of acting and hair design school reporting on people's hourly salaries. When you look at it that way...sure pilots top the list and might make over $100 per hour. But given that he legally can fly no more than 100 hours per month, and typically doesn't fly more than 75, you can kind of see how that is a skewed study.

Should I quit medicine for aerospace engineering?

Hello everyone, I seriously need sincere suggestions from you guys on this matter, here's my story
I've always loved aviation more than anything else and wanted to become a pilot but circumstances somehow dragged me into medical school, so i thought okay i'll become a doctor first and when i'll have my own money then I'll go for private flying. At this moment from what I've calculated it would take me atleast 4 more years to earn that money I've been waiting for.But over time I've come to dislike this profession so I applied for aerospace engineering at a very well reputed university as I had always loved aviation. I got selected there and its a 3yrs programme.
Now the problem is that my father says that I should first complete medicine and then should do whatever i want but i insist that there's no use of completing my studies if i dont want to practice it as a profession later on, I could become an aerospace engineer by the time I'd complete medicine otherwise.
What do u guys think? Should I act upon my father's advice or should i quit medicine and join aerospace engineering right away?

Astrophysics or Electronic/Computer Engineering career opportunities?

Astrophysics requires a PhD — a BSc in Astrophysics does not lead to any career. The PhD study is long and difficult and a good career is not guaranteed at the end.

If you have the interest (and the money) consider a degree in Astronautical Engineering.

Otherwise, take a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering Technology.
