Which College Should I Choose

Which college should i choose?

Actually the main thing is there is very less difference between private engineering colleges whether it is on the grounds of studies, placements, or extra co- curricular activities. The fee for all the colleges are almost same and your family income does not really matter. If you are academically strong, then you can get scholarships and various other perks.Regarding Electronics Engineering at MAIT,MAIT -Although it is a highly reputed college in Delhi and has a very good placement record, but the majority of the companies visiting the campus are Software based (related to IT Sector) and there are very less opportunities of going into core Electronics job through campus. But , the faculty of ECE at MAIT is well experienced. So, you can learn many things from them.

Which college should I choose?

Hi,I am a 3rd yr from CET BBSR, although not from your branch. It would have been helpful if you had kindly mentioned your OJEE rank in the question. Anyway listen out. Both IIIT and CET are reputed colleges in the technical education sector. CET has been recognised time for a while in Odisha while IIIT on the otherside has gained a good repo in the recent years. However I would vote for IIIT bhubaneswar as the better choice if you are willing extra bucks. The reason behind my vote is simple. CET comes under the affiliation of BPUT- the infamous technical university. BPUT has one of the most, negligient, irresponsible and unresponsive system. It has destroyed more future than it has created. On the other IIIT is autonomous and has a better system of evaluation.so its upto you man

Which college should I choose?

I would suggest Chem Engg at ICT, Mumbai.Pros:1. The chemical engineering course sat ICT is ranked the best in India by the MHRD. It is ranked 3rd in the world and is ranked higher than the chemical engineering course at IIT-Bombay.2.The brand name of ICT(formerly UDCT) is very high and you will easily get employment opportunities after you graduate. You will also get very good opportunities for higher studies in foreign universities.3. It is a very rigorous course which is very industry oriented and also places a strong emphasis on pursuing research. You will get to learn from the best faculty in India and you will be up to date with all the advances in chemical engineering as the faculty itself is involved in several research projects. The  environment is very conducive for  learning as you get a holistic education covering several new avenues of chemical engineering.4. You will get a chance to study with some of the brightest minds from across the country increasing the competition in college. So you cannot afford to slack off.5.The college, hostel and mess fees are really low. Therefore it is affordable.6. Located in the heart of Mumbai, it has a big and green campus and is a great place to study in.Cons:1.  ICT believes in letting their work speak for themselves. Therefore, you won't find much publicity of the college. You will have to deal with people not knowing about your institute. Even many of the taxi drivers don't know where it is even though they ply their vehicles in Matunga where the institute is located. It gets really frustrating at times!!

What UCSC college should i choose?

Well, Cowell would be a good fit. People are very friendly there and party often.

People think of Oakes kind of as the "ghetto" college or the place where they throw all the minorities. Many people think the buildings are ugly and refer to them as the "boxes" that the other colleges came in. Ha.

I would say Cowell. Porter is very social too, but it is more the "Let's get naked and run through the forest on LSD" type of social.

Which UCSC college should I choose?

It would help if you gave some information about yourself and your interests.

However,

Porter is probably the residential college with the most artists, musicians, political activists, and all around "unique" people. The Porter apartments are beautiful. However, Porter is going under construction currently, and this has pretty much cut the college in half. That is definitely something you want to consider. Also, the dining hall will be closed during the 09-10 school year. Porter is very very social and the Porter students love to party..Things such as piercings, green hair, and guitars are very common at Porter.

Stevenson is much different. It has a reputation for being the "Jock" college. This is probably because it is really close to the gym. The people here are more general, and not as wild and different as the Porter people. Stevenson has some beautiful ocean views. Also, it isn't under construction. It also has a bit of a reputation of being the "Jewish" college...so if you're a neo-nazi or something, I would suggest staying away.

UCI vs. UCSD Which college should i choose?

I was admitted to both colleges. I went to both open houses and have mixed admissions on both.
UCSD campus wasn't jaw-dropping, but the atmosphere the students provided was amazing. I actually felt welcomed and thought i could succeed. It is also affordable.
UCI campus was extremely beautiful, it had nearly everything i could ask for however it is costly and the people their completely ignored me. When asking information about certain subjects, they completely discouraged me in even trying. The booths didn't even try to encourage me to be involved. They handed me papers and sent me off.
I thought of each pro and con but remain neutral on both. I want to go into biological science and believed i could make the best of the whole college experience, but remain confuse

Which college should I choose for btech in CSE?

Dear student, admissions in most of the private universities are on. you can try for admission in good universities like LPU, VIT, SRM, etc.All three are well known universities of India with modern infrastructure and facilities. Even placements are worth mentioning. But i would prefer LPU over other 2 for few reasonsThe very first reason is LPU has single campus so the management concentrates on making it the best where as the other two have more than one campus due to which how so ever hard they try still one or the campus is affected. The curriculum of LPU is in sync with the industry.Placements especially for CSE are really very good with companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc, visiting the campus regularly for recruitment. Not only this but also the university gives regular inputs to their students in the form of PEP classes where in the students are trained for facing the placement drives. Also, the kind of exposure offered to students whether it is academic or non academic adds to the personality and overall development of the students. So, it would be a good choice to go for admission in LPU.Good luck.
