Which Country Would You Choose To Study Abroad In

Did you study abroad? Why did you choose to study where you did?

I'm doing some very serious research into study abroad (it's why I picked my college), and I'm wondering just what attracts one to a country. Did you go there beacuse that's just where you really wanted to go? Or did you have actual studying in mind?

Where should I go study abroad in Asia? (Which country)?

This is a bit of a vague question.
There are a number of factors in deciding where to study abroad.
I suggest to look into these factors.
Deciding where or when to study abroad can be overwhelming because there are so many destinations to choose.
I m going to try to enumerate some countries in Asia to help you decide and give you some overview on what you ll expect in those countries:

1. Bangkok, Thailand
As the country capital, the city is pretty industrialized and also have beautiful relics and ruins from centuries past. You better be sure to bring your water bottle always since it is known for its humidity and a bit of pollution. Local people there are finding it a bit hard to speak in english though. The food is real good and cheap in Thailand if you love spicy aromatic foods.

2.Hanoi, Vietnam
Home of several Top Universities. People there are very friendly because there s a cultural value there in speaking with strangers.

3. Mumbai, India
City of Bollywood! :) It has one of the largest populations in the world. This city might be appealing if you have interest in international development or politics.

4. Seoul, South Korea
It has palaces and shrines scattered across the city. It s also a tourist hotspot in Asia. Then there is K-pop, With its vibrant nightlife, technological prominence, and growing role in the global economy, Seoul has something to offer all students.

5. Singapore
World s second most densely populated country. It s a very clean and disciplined country, it has even laws against chewing gum! It s a little bit of expensive to live there though. Technology is very forward compared to other counties.

6. Philippines
Cheap High Quality education, cheap food, cheap shelter, expensive clothing though.

I think your best option is to research further.
I suggest you use websites that has study abroad database like:

Why would you want to study abroad?

When going abroad, you receive much more than just an education. Studying abroad is more about learning about the culture of different countries. By going, you immerse yourself in that countries language and culture and learn so much more than by just reading about it in a book. And in some cases, the education may be better in the destination country than in your home country.

If I want to study abroad, which country should I prefer?

Unarguably many would say America as long your complexion is not too dark as their is a lot hostility to African Americans (that is what CNN International claims).Besides Europe is quiet cheap for studying leaving out Switzerland(the cost living their is too high). And I also heard that education in Germany is free of cost, the question is if u get can get admissions their?

Which country should I study In?

My own ranking based on direct experience.Australia (best compromise)USA (Costs often prohibitive)UK (only look at “Russell Group” universities)Netherlands or Germany (if you can achieve adequate language proficiency)Australia. High academic standards, relatively safe, nice environment at most campuses (as long as you don’t choose the middle of Sydney), and costs are generally much lower than the US or UK. In addition to this, most Australian campuses are very well equipped and there are lots of other foreign students (so you won’t feel out of place). The campus buildings are generally modern. I never regretted going to Australia to complete my postgraduate studies.America is great too, but there are some challenges with healthcare (if you ever get sick), and the fees are likely to be astronomical at the better colleges. The quality of academic staff is high and facilities generally first class.British universities always seemed to struggle with finances (but things should be much better now). The UK has some of the best academics. If you want to study a “liberal arts” or a non-technical subject they’re definitely worth considering. Student accommodation in the UK can be very expensive. If you are going to study for a research based degree like a PhD (and have funding - i.e. not out of your own pocket), I would pick the US first, then Australia. A US PhD from an “Ivy League” university is going to carry more weight than most others.

If you get a chance to go abroad, what country will you choose?

I love travelling and I am staying outside of my home country of India now. It really feels good for short term, however long time stay will take a lot of commitment and compromise.Though every country has its own beauty and charm, I would certainly love to visit New Zealand to see the landscapes and the nature. Next would be Greece, to spend time at the Mediterranean. Then I would choose Mexico for frolic and fun.In case you want to follow me, please visit my travel site: bhanuprakashparappa.

Which countries would you choose to live, if you could choose 10 developed countries?

Thank you Roger Cassiano. If I had a chance to choose 10 developed countries, either to live or pay a regular visit (I hope this is not a day-dream), I would like to choose these 10 countries.JapanSouth KoreaUKFinlandSlovakiaGermanyPortugalItalyCanadaTaiwanThree of those are located in Asia, namely East Asia. Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan respectively, they are democratic, have a press freedom and freedom of speech, and also an advanced — economically and technologically. Here, I view Taiwan as a sovereign independent country. China in mainland is justs another country which believe they Taiwan is their renegade province and they would like to use both peaceful or coercive manner to take it back. Then, six out of ten countries are situated in Europe. They posses high HDI, economiclaly advanced, culturally preserved, technologically good, and special for Finland, I adore their welfare system as well as their damn good education system. The last one, we have Canada as the sole country from North America. Canada is a huge country with sparsely population. It has a good climate and their people are pretty wealth. They also good at winter olympics, hehehe.

What country would you choose as your birth country, if given an option to select one? Why?

They are a lot to mention.1. England: It's because i'm an Arsenal fan. I'd never miss a match staying in london.2.United States: Because of the quality of education. I've always dreamt of pursuing Masters from one of these colleges( after 30): MIT,Harvard,Princeton,Virginia Tech to name a few.3. Russia : To get a beautiful girl :p. I've heard that Russian girls are amazing.4. Saudi Arabia: For money. We are well-aware of the relation between Indian Rupee and United Arab Emirates Dirham. Besides,Their infrastructures are unmatchable with the rest of the world. 5.Switzerland: I don't think that i need to mention the reason for this selection. :P.....
