Is it acceptable to use Uber as a delivery and pick-up service?
It depends on which of Uber’s platforms you are using. If you are a using UberEATS or UberFreight, then restaurants and shipping businesses can use Uber as a pickup and delivery service. UberEATS and UberFreight are actually specifically designed for delivery.Uber used to operate a courier service in select cities marketed under the name UberRUSH, but they announced that it will cease operations as of June 2018.[1]If you are a private individual, your only option would be to have someone accompany the package in an UberX, UberXL, etc.For safety reasons, Uber drivers should not and typically won’t accept unknown packages from strangers for delivery.The Uber driver has no way of knowing if the package contains stolen goods or illegal substances, and no way of tracking individual packages of legitimate goods. What if the customer gives two (2) packages, and there was supposed to be three (3)? Neither the driver nor the customer can prove how many packages the driver received since there is no manifest or signed documents. Any disputes would result in a heated “he said she said” argument.For these reasons, UberX drivers should not accept packages for deliver. A passenger must accompany any package being delivered via UberX.Instead of using UberX, it would be better to use a courier service if you want same day delivery, or USPS, FedEx or UPS for next day delivery. Where to buy bidet toilets online? A Combo Unit? In UK or Ireland?
Hi, I had a website in the UK that sell's Bidet toilets, they were starting at £95, I lost the website URL, because I had to reinstall my e-mail program. Does anybody know a good place where I can buy this Bidet Combo unit? I have searched google, but all that comes up is the same one I saw for £95, except priced at £300, and this is wrong, because these can be bought in Europe for €50! (I saw them while on Holiday's) Any help is much appreciated, even a European supplier, as I can arrange a courier to collect and deliver. Kind Regards,
What's the meaning of "arrived hub" when delivering package?
In the context of package delivery, a "hub" is like a post office. In fact it might be a post office. It is a local centre where packages are collected for dispatch to their destination. So a courier or local agent will collect a package from the sender, send it on to its local hub for sorting. The local (or 'receiving') hub will send the package on to the nearest hub to its destination, the 'arrival hub'. From there it is picked up by a courier for delivery to where it's addressed. Depending upon how the system is organised, a package might pass through several intermediate hubs before getting to the arrival hub.
Accounting software that will monitor a bank account.?
Does anyone know of any free or nearly free accounting software that is able to monitor funds deposited/withdrawn from a bank account but still act and feel like an old school check register? What I would like to find is something that I can install locally on my computer that will access my online checking account, pull transactions (automatically or manually through a reconcile button or something similar) and still allow me to manually input pending transactions. This would of course require entry of your online banking information (routing number, account number, User name, password, etc...). As it is right now all I can do is copy and paste transactions into a spreadsheet to manually include pending transactions and update balances and its a bit of a pain. I'm not sure if such software even exists due to security polices in place at most banks (or am I just being a total NOOB and just not realized there are tons of them out there? lol) if anyone knows of such an application, I would appreciate it. CSI episode where somebody gets buried in a box underground..?
what was that one episode called? idk which CSI it was all i know is that this one guy gets captured and he's in a box underground and there's a camera on him or something and whenever they check the camera on the computer the light turns on or something.. it's been bugging me thanks a lot!!
Super simple accounting software for Mac?
MS Money 2007 is a good Family and small business software and has many features yet I know of many accounts that prefer to use several others. Most used that I have seen is Peachtree, QuickBooks, MYOB and even Excel best answer for you is which is easier for you and you family as well what format does your account like your receipts. UPDATE: To me I found Peachtree well to complex so I went to use MYOB which was not really the best for an accountant we are now using Excel and QuickBooks. Still most others use Peachtree and Excel for their books.
