I hate to say it, but that guy Simon from American Idol ruined that name for me... that's who pops into my head when I hear that name.

I love the name Silas. I have written a young adult novel, and one of the main characters is named Silas. It's unusual without being overly trendy...classic and cute. Silas Andrew would be a really cute boy's name!

My name is Shayna and people call me Shay. It's quicker. I like Elle. You will still always be Marielle, just Elle for short.
