I want how to get or find my EDG (eligibility determination group) number on my Texas state lone star SNAP food benefits card. It said on my letter that finding that 9 digit number was the key to finding out what day of the month i would get my food benefits. Please answer this question! Thanks in advance for the help.

I think that your EDG number will be printed somewhere on a letter you received from DSHS granting you benefits. If you don't have that letter for some reason, I would suggest that you call your local DSHS office to find the information.

Is there any way for me to lie to get SNAP food benefits in Texas ?
I've applied for food stamps but got denied because I'm not 22 years old NOR living by myself . I'm 19 & pregnant, I live at at home with my mother & the father of my child .I used my boyfriend's income since that's the only source of money . They said I had to re-apply using my mother's income since she is head of the household . Only problem with that she makes WAY TOO MUCH & is not qualified as low income . We pay $475 of rent & pay other bills . I do not work only my boyfriend . He roughly makes $1000 a month but since he supports me & himself . We hardly have money for food . So I was wondering what could I say, A GOOD LIE, so I could recieve benefits like now . I know it's fraud but I don't know what else to do . My mom is forcing me to apply for food stamps, even if I have to lie. Or else she's gonna kick me & my boyfriend out of the house . So please if someone has an ANSWER that could help that would be great .
