What sounds better 2 ohm or 4 ohm?
I didn't read all of M V 's response, but I skimmed it and it seemed pretty good. Basically 2 or 4 ohm or 1 or 8, doesn't really have anything to do with how a speaker will sound. Usually, the higher the impedance, the more efficient the speaker will be also, meaning it requires less power to achieve the same amount of perceived volume. So to answer your question, what sounds better or hits harder, 2 or 4 ohm, neither and/or both. lol. That's sorta like asking what's faster, an apple or a orange.
Do three piece bands sound better than four piece bands?
The number of member is coincidental if they sound better or not. If you check album versions, they add another guitar during solos and stuff. While a 4 piece band doesn't have to put too much effort live, a 3 piece has to make more effort. Muse, for example, since they need a more tight sound, the bass player usually puts distortion to the bass, so it doesn't sound like empty. They also need like a backup player for some songs that need keyboard etc. I think it depends on the sound or music you are trying to make. The Beatles wouldn't have done being a trio. They have a softer sound and usually combine piano and guitar. And sometimes, if you already have a killer guitar player that likes to stand by his own, another one is not needed. For example: Eric Clapton is a great guitarist and has a hugh ego, just like Jimi Hendrix, Matt Bellamy, Pete Townshend etc. And the drummers and bass players are also sick. So they are the ones that do whatever the hell the want and are the protagonists and owners of their music. Another member wouldn't fit. And if you pay attention trios are usually heavy or rock, reggae and punk bands. It is because it is more raw, direct music. If it would be like pop of symphonic rock, then more instruments would be need, like Pink Floyd, Beatles, Queen. I'm not saying that 4 piece bands have players that are not on level, they are really great.
Will a 4-2-1 header make my car sound better?
header dont really do nothing fo ur sound it only contributes about 25% of it the rest is ur exhaust and OBX U should have gonne with a Greddy or HKS cuz if u keep it at a same speed its not annoying but when u put ur foot on the gas it gets louder and sounds nice but if u do get headers get either greddy which r kinda expensive but they go with ur exhaust system so it makes it sound better or the 1 every1 has DC Sport O and bout all the hater my stock ex 4banger killed a 5.7L F-150 made him look stupid thats the sad part
More speakers = better sound?
alright, i have a 1989 honda crx si, when i bought it the guy said that the guy before him took the speakers out, but when i looked i found four speakers. I also go two speakers for christmas and two from i dont know where. Speakers: two / 2-way / 160 w / 6 1/2 IN / Pioneer / Nominal Power 30w two that say planet audio and model number P5 two / 2-way / 55 watt peak / 6 IN. by 3 1/2 IN. / KFCHQ460S kenwood two / Aiwa / 4 inch one 10 inch 200 infinity subwoofer soon one amp i dont know what power yet. im just wondering if i hooked up the 8 speakers properly if i would have better sound than a 4 / 6 speaker set up?
What will sound better and hit hardest, 4 L715s or 4 sdc 2.5 10s?
I know someone who has 4 solo baric 15s in the trunk of a '85 olds delta and imo, they sounded like crap. All that knockin and no decent sq what so ever. so anyway,, I finally made up my mind and gonna go with audioque The decision now I am trying 2 make is should I go with 3 or 4 sdc10s or 3 or 4 hdc10s. Don't know which of the several pairs of models would sound the best but I just wanna blow his doors off that oldskool hootie of his with my system. He swears by his L7s and thinks he's the top dawg lol. Whatever setup I use, they will be going in the trunk of a '97 buick rivi and will be powered by either 2 brz2400.1d amps(which already have 1 and if I go with the hdc models) or send that one back and get 2 brz1700.1ds(if going with the sdc models). Anyway, I hope either one will be a good setup especially for my car. Neccessary electrical upgrade and custom built box will be added;o) Holla at me folks
Whats sound better and louder 4 8' subs or 2 12" subs?
