Which Shiny Legendarys Can You Get In Pokemon X/y

Ways to get shiny legendary pokemon?

Im trying to get a couple of shiny legendary pokemon in pokemon black. I read about the soft reset method and have been trying that but wasn't sure if the rate would still be the same if you caught a shiny in the wild. i also read about a method(but dont believe that it would work) that you just sit in front of a legendary for a while and then when you battle it will be a shiny. I would trade with someone to get a shiny legendary however i can't. i wasn't sure if anyone had any suggestions about ways to get a shiny legendary or can tell me how the soft reset worked for them. thanks :)

Pokemon x and y shiny charm?

I'm trying to get the shiny charm but I'm a little confused, I got the oval charm after seeing every pokemon in the regional, so do I just have to see every pokemon to get the shiny charm, or actually have them all? So far I have 567 caught and 608 seen? I have all of the starters (gen 1-6) and all the other pokemon from the bank, besides legendaries.

What is a shiny pokemon worth?

Shiny pokemon may be rare but they do have a certain worth. Of course shiny pokemon are equal in trade to other shiny pokemon. Legendary shiny pokemon or shiny pokemon that are not breedable are worth more since you can not receive them via the medusa method which doubles your rate of finding a shiny. Also shiny gyradoses and magikarps that are not the one you find in game (that ones is worth nothing since its easy to get) are not worth a lot since shiny magikarps are only found about 1 in every 1000 as opposed to other shinies which are 1/8000. Finally shinies are worth less if you train them up and add evs to them since that ruines there competitive usefulness to someone else. Shinies with great ivs or rare moves are worth a lot some are even worth a lot if they weren't shiny like a wish blissey which is ultra rare.

Shiny pokemon overall are worth about the same are a standard event pokemon if they aren't ruined ev wise if they are they are worth a lot less and then you have to go trade for bad event pokemon like a regigigas which everyone and there mother has.

Legendaries are worthless generally since anyone can get them although some pokemon might be equal in trade to a shiny like if you have pokemon XD where rare XD moves are found like baton pass zapdos.

Its varies from person to person and on the situation. You just have to be dynamic.

Is soft resetting for shiny legendary Pokémon worth the time?

Honestly, probably not. In my opinion, legendary pokemon make the game a little too easy, and takes all the fun out of training a team of your own pokemon to suit your playstyle. You are your own individual, and if everyone else is soft resetting for shinies, what makes you any different from a clone of them? Even if the game gets a little grindy at times, it's still pretty easy as it is, and while shiny pokemon may look cool, they can't do anything that non shiny pokemon can't do, other than impress a few friends. To make it worse, the best possible ratio for finding shinies, is one in five hundred something, and this is with pokeradar chaining, and the shiny charm (which you have to complete the national pokedex to get.)Unless you have a couple months to do nothing but soft reset your game, don't bother trying to get a shiny  legendary, because in that time, you might be able to finish three more pokemon games if you're  an average player, and maybe even 30-60 full runs of a game without using any of the same pokemon twice if you're obsessed enough to still consider going through with your shiny legendary pokemon hunt. Heck, why not buy all the games of the generation you play, and fill out the national dex with all of the pokemon from those teams?Sure there are more productive ways to spend time that don't involve pokemon, but hey, what do I know? I used to play pokemon too.

How do i get a shiny froakie in pokemon x and y?

I have been trying to get a shiny froakie in pokemon x and y for about a week now. I started out breeding my greninja with a forign ditto. a couple of boxes full of froakies later, i switched my grninja, who is american, to a german one. that didnt work either. then i got a friend safari that had frogadiers. i spent countless hours, searching in there. i thought it might work because i had gotten a shiny stunfisk earlier. When i was searching i did the restraunts and got the perfect amount of turns and tipped $10000 each time. still nothing. If anyone knows any other tips to help me, please tell me. Thank you!

How to get Hoopa and other legendaries??

I am a big fan of ORAS. I have bth games, and I am almost on my way to playing the games for the 3rd time. I really want the 3 mysterious legendaries in X and Y. I don't know how to get the other two(seeing as I missed the Diancie event) and I really want them. Also, I don't know where the prison bottle is. I need it for Hoopa(if I ever get it). So can anyone enlighten me on how I can get these pokemon, as they are really vital for me (I have an addiction to Pokemon, obviously).

If I save just before getting a Pokemon egg from the daycare, then keep soft resetting after it hatches, will I eventually get a shiny Pokemon?

Taylor is partly correct, in the way that she is right about the older Pokemon games. In Pokemon Sun and Moon, the values are decided by a equation and the next 255 Pokemons values, gender, stats and whether it is shiny or not get decided well in advance. So soft resetting will not help you in anyway here, sorry. There is a different way to cheat the system though. If you want the shiny of a Pokemon that has a gender (not Pokemon like beldum which are all genderless or like Volbeat which are all boys) then here is what your do.Breed a magikarp a shit ton and hatch the eggs, make sure you keep track of the eggs by number so you know how many you hatch. Don't save during this.Once you hatch a shiny Pokemon, make a note of which number it is, I will use egg 32 as an example. So the 32nd egg I just hatched was a shiny Magikarp. Now I reset the game and instead of getting Magikarp eggs, I get eggs for the Pokemon I want a shiny of.I will keep getting eggs but not bother hatching them until I get the 32nd egg (or in your case, whatever the shiny egg was)At this point you hatch that egg and you will get a shiny. This method works with all Pokemon that can be either gender in Pokemon Sun and Moon. The reason you use Magikarp first is because Magikarp eggs hatch the fastest so you can determine the shinnies a lot faster than trying to hatch other Pokemon. For genderless and single gender Pokemon, you do steps 1–3 but then it gets a little weirder. You will want to discard the first egg and then grab the second egg and discard every other egg. You end up with a pattern like this.Discard, 1st egg, discard, 2nd egg, discard 3rd egg, discard, 4th egg, etc.You will have to do that until you get to whatever egg is the shiny egg. If you have done trouble understanding this, go to YouTube and search up pokemon Sun and Moon egg exploit and you will find many videos going more in depth about how to do this with visual guides to help as well.Note that this only works with Pokemon Sun and Moon, not the older games because they use a different egg system.
