How do you play Sims 2 with no disk?
I play The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection through Origin. Once you download the game, you don’t need to even be online (unlike The Sims 4).There is a trick to getting this game though. It’s free, but it’s not on the store. If I give my Sims 3 discs to a friend, can they use them without my origin account, and can I still access them in origin?
It depends a bit on how old the discs are and how much you have patched them.The earlier* discs didn’t require an Origin account, so you could install them on multiple computers with the same serial number.You could only play on one computer at a time, of course, since you had to have the disc in the drive to play. But if you had three expansion packs, you could lend the base game and the first two expansion packs to your friend and he could install them and play with the second EP disc in his drive and you with the third EP disc (you have to have the newest EP disc in the drive, as far as I know).However, later when they added Origin, things got more tricky. I haven’t played much in the last couple of years so I’m not sure how locked-down things are now.*Note that ‘earlier’ here refers to the year when the disc was pressed, not when that game/expansion pack/stuff pack was first released.I have a base game CD with no Origin, someone else in my household has a base game CD with Origin—that one was bought several years later. So the discs are not the same.

My Sims 3 disc is scratched?
I recently got a new computer and today I was trying to reinstall my Sims 3 game. Unfortunately, the game is really scratched up because it fell out of the case and was just sort of floating around my room for awhile, so it isn't letting me install it. My computer is reading the disc, and it is almost done installing but it keeps saying "File E:/ Caches/ Sunset Valley.objectCache Error: data error (cyclic redundancy check)". I have no idea what this means or how to get it to stop. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way that I can install Sims 3 without using the disc? Or can I somehow get a replacement disc? Thanks for any suggestions!!!
How to install Sims 3 without Origin?
I have looked all over for the answer to the question. Basically, I had the sims 3 games installed, and I uninstalled them. I now wish to re-install them, but Origin doesn't seem to want to let that happen. I have the Sims 3 Starter Pack, which comes with the base game, high end loft stuff, and Late Night. Origin won't take the code that I have in the case for the Sims 3 base game, and I can't seem to get the game to install WITHOUT the godawful Origin program. I have the legit, hard copy disk, and I can't get it to install. Everywhere else I've looked keeps saying 'oh you can install it without Origin' but fails to mention HOW to do that. Guys, I just want to play my sims =/ Any help? Other info: I have windows 8

Have you registered your game? If so, you can download Origin (EA’s gaming platform)* and sign into your EA account. Any games you’ve registered under that account will be automatically counted as owned, and can be downloaded and played digitally. No CD or physical media of any type required! That’s how I play Sims, or any other video game.*please note, link is for US version of Origin, so some Google work may be in order if you’re from another country
My Sims 3 Late Night disk broke, can I use another disk to play the game?
I have several of the Sims 3 expansion packs downloaded to my computer. However, whenever I want to play the game it says I need to put in my Sims 3 Late night disk. My problem is that I broke the disk. The most recent expansion pack that I downloaded is the Sims 3 Ambitions. I thought that you use the disk for the most recent expansion pack that you downloaded but it still asks me for the Late Night disk. Is there a way I can still play the game by putting in either my Sims 3 or my Ambitions disk? Thank you.

Donwload Poweriso, right click on the .zip file, choose poweriso, click on mount............. (i forgot what should be there) and it should work fine :)
