Which Sports Car Is For Me

Is the Audi TT a sports car?

I know some cars look like there sports cars but aren't classified as sports cars but is the Audi TT a sports car? Im needing to know for insurance purposes

What is your favorite sports car?

Thanks for the A2AKind of depends on your definition of sports cars. As a whole I prefer sporty economy coupes, which aren’t really the same thing. I doubt you’d call a Tercel a “sports coupe” you know? But, after some thought, I guess I would pick;BMW M3 E36Mmmph. That’s what I’m talking about. It’s just old enough to be slightly reliable and just new enough to be able to pull codes. It’s quick, it’s fast, it’s pretty…. but it’s a BMW so expect to pay 12 thousand dollars for a thermostat. That’s why I don’t own one.Toyota Supra MKIIIIt’s about as close as you’re going to get to a MKIV supra this side of 10k. 2JZ-GTE swaps are both easy and quick, and the 7M-GE/7M-GTE has shown itself as a beast in it’s own right. It needs a little tweaking with the head bolts needing more torque, but it’s a relatively minor problem. The 1JZ-GTE available in other countries is absolutely insane in it’s own right, but in the US you’d be looking at a swap. They have solid double wishbone suspension, and they’re pretty reliable once you give it a few tweaks.Honestly I have a short list of cars I like that are front engine front wheel drive and front engine rear wheel drive that I don’t consider “sports cars”, just “sporty cars”. I’ll give you a brief list here.Toyota Celica GT-SHonda Del SolAcura/Honda Integra GS-R/Type RHonda Civic Si/Type RToyota MR-2 (AW11/SW20) - rear mid engine, rear wheel driveToyota MR-S - Rear mid engine, rear wheel driveChevrolet CamaroToyota GT86/FR-SScion tCMazda Miata (of course)Those are cars that are actually meant to be driven every day, unlike most sports cars which are really meant as weekend/track toys. I’m not really going to get pedantic with it, but I don’t want to get into any arguments about it, either.

Is an impala a sports car?

No, it is a sedan. Some claim that it is a sports sedan - it is not, or sporty sedan - well maybe if you stretch the definition far enough.

Pick-up truck or sports car?

My parents made a deal with me that they would buy me a new car if a made a certain gpa (which I did). I am stuck between choosing a truck and a sports car. Trucks are obviously safer because of their larger size, they have a lot more room for carrying around cargo, and they are of course a lot more capable in bad weather conditions and on mountain roads and such. For a truck, I would get either the f-150, the tacoma, or the ridgeline (yes I know that it's not really a truck). On the other hand, sporty cars provide much more enjoyment with better fuel economy (for a lot of them). I would get the volkswagen gti, dodge charger (rt), or the acura tsx mainly because of the price. Also if anyone has suggestions for a small suv or another hatchback, not a coupe, (besides the gti) that has good handling, preferably has some form or awd, and an automatic transmission which is a must for me (which is the reason why I didn't include the subaru wrx), I would gladly look into it. So which is best for a 17 year old teenager like me?

If you had to choose between a luxury car and a sports car, which would be it?

Aren’t some luxury cars also sports cars? Like Aston Martin?Someone figure that out for me.Anyways…The me right now wants a sports car. The logical me wants a luxury car. The sports car I would take is the new TVR Griffith. The front is… interesting. It’s one of the few cars that doesn’t look royally pissed off. But it also kinda looks like a catfish. But I digress. The TVR comes with a 5.0L V8 from a Mustang. It’s been tuned by Cosworth to make 500 horsepower. The car itself weighs only 2,755 lbs. And it comes with a manual. 0 to 100 miles per hour happens in six seconds. The side profile is nice, but it resembles something I can’t quite put my finger on.Notify me on that too.As for luxury, I can safely choose the 2018 Bentley Mulsanne, extended wheelbase included because I want it.Looks like a Rolls, but whatever. It comes with a 6.7L twin-turbo V8, making 505 horsepower to haul nearly 6,000 lbs of car. Alfa Romeo Giulia makes that much with a V6, but I don’t mind… That much. The interior is like any other Bentley. It uses 18 cows, give or take a burger, and justly so.A base Mulsanne sets you back a little over $310,000. Not that you would care about the price if you even considered buying a Bentley.

Why do people buy sports cars?

Describe the average sports car.looks unique and different to the average carsounds louderthe average person probably seen a certain model only a handful of times a year.Sports cars are head turners. Sports cars get attention. Sports cars say “look at me”.Most of the time (not all the time), people will drive sports cars because:I am a rich spoiled brat with filthy rich parentsI am a wealthy old man with mid-life crisis and I want hot young girls to come ride with mePretty much what why most people buy expensive stuffs. I’ll buy it. Why? Because I can. Those people who are bothered with the price should not be driving a sports car. Those people who need to verify the price should not be driving a sports car. Most of the time, people will go the car shop, choose the model, chose the color, test drive and purchase it, and only asking for the price so they can write it in their cheque.People planning to buy these cars don’t mind if it is $2M, $2.5M or $4M.If you are worried about the gas consumption, you should not be buying a sports car.People driving sports cars don’t care if there is traffic. They keep the engines on, relax in the car, enjoy the attention, and gives the engines roar when the light turns green.
