Which State Is The Best To Live In I M An Immigrant Pharmacist And I Don

How long do Immigrants intend to stay in the United States?

No, I don't believe they all want to stay in the US. Hispanics are a very family oriented culture and their family and extended family are everything to them - are their community. A lot of them feel it is almost impossible to even hope for citizenship in the US and, if they thought it was possible, they would only want it if they could bring the rest of their family over, too, eventually. A lot of them would like to be able to work legally in the US for as long as possible and be able to send as much money as possible home for their families and to finance their own eventual permanent return home and to their families. Better yet, if they could work legally in the US with the freedom to return home periodically to visit and know that they can return back to the US to work, back and forth, I think most of them would be very happy with this situation and US citizenship would not be as important to them, at all. Ideally, I think they would wish that their own countries could be good places to live so they could stay with their families. I'm sure it is not an easy decision or a fun one to make - to leave their families and their culture behind and go to another country in order to make a better life for themselves and their families - especially in a country where they are often received very hostilely. They travel a dangerous journey and can never really relax and feel safe, never knowing when they may be discovered or arrested for a traffic violation and jailed and then deported. But, even living this risky life, to them, is better than staying in their country with no hope for their family and maybe watching their children starve or just have no hope for a good life and future.

What is the best state for a new immigrant?

I do not understand why immigrants are steered to or gravitate to the coasts. The cost of living and difficulty in getting economic traction, plus the high speed culture of big coast cities make them a poor choice for starting out. The same mistake is made by Americans who recently graduate and then look for a job in cities where there are fewest opportunities. When making a living is high on your list..weather should take a back seat to opportunity and cost of living.

For an African pharmacist immigrant, which is better, Canada, Australia or New Zealand?

I don't know about Canada.I can't see pharmacist on the list of skilled occupations in Australia (you need to have a skill that is in demand if you want to migrate)Skilled Occupations List (SOL)but you may be able to apply under the regional migration scheme if you are willing to live in a country area away from the urban centres.Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visa (subclass 187)If you really want to migrate to Australia, explore the different visa options from the government websiteAustralian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection

Which is a good state for new immigrants to live in the US?

I would recommend without any hesitation that the state of California is the best state for immigrants in the US. The California State Senate passed a bill in April that provides a number of protections to immigrants in the state in light of recent crackdowns by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The legislation limits the power of ICE agents to draw upon the resources of local law enforcement. With the law’s passage, California is now being called the nation’s first “sanctuary state” at a time when the Trump administration has been targeting illegal immigration and so-called sanctuary cities.Safety and continued residency are only some of the concerns facing non-natives living in the United States. Different parts of the country provide different opportunities for earnings, education, and homeownership. Some also have large communities of fellow immigrants, whose help and support can ease the process of assimilation for new Americans.CALIFORNIAPct. foreign born: 27.0% (the highest)Median household income: $52,438 (foreign-born), $66,670 (native-born)Adults with a bachelor’s degree: 26.3% (foreign-born), 34.4% (native-born)Green cards issued in 2015: 545.4 per 100,000 (4th highest)In light of the recent crackdown by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers on illegal immigrants, California in April moved to become the first “sanctuary state.” A bill passed in the California State Senate provides greater legal protections for immigrants, such as limiting communication between local law enforcement and ICE officials.A nation-leading 27% of state residents were not born in the United States. Approximately one in five green card grantees each year are Californians. There is a slightly higher income gap in California between U.S. natives and foreign-born residents compared to many other states on this list, but as is the case nationwide, incomes depend on region of origin and citizenship status. The state has large shares of both native Mexicans and Southeast Asians, who typically make about $33,000 more than Mexican immigrant households.Thank you.Reference http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/o...

What is the best state to live in the US?

I am Brazilian and I'm thinking about moving to the US. I'd like to know what is the best state for me to live in.
I am 55 years old, married to a woman that is 60 years old and my daughter is 16 years old. What is the best city for me?
The temperature must be greater than 50 ° F. The ideal would be a temperature around 70 ° F.
The state has to have good high schools, churches and people that won't hate or judge non-english speakers (My wife doesn't speak English and doesn't want to get fluent soon. I don't speak fluently, but I'm working on it. My daughter isn't fluent too, but she's almost there and learns really fast).
My wife will have a job that doesn't require English and I will work as an agent in my cousin's Real State. The state has to be affordable and hast to have buses and subways.

What's the best way to get rid of the illegal immigrants?

you know, i am getting sick and tired of people assuming when you say illegal immigrants you mean mexicans! all the 11 million illegals are not just mexicans. those numbers consist of all illegal immigrants. (chinese, russian, african, cuban, swiss, german, etc) if all the illegal immigration talk was about german or russian do you really think it would be an issue? of coarse not. lets be real. at least they are trying to work, unlike 'americans' who stand in longer lines getting wic, food stamps, tanf etc. -to be fair of coarse- not all 'americans' are standing in line. mexicans are some of the hardest working people you will ever meet. yes i agree that they(all immigrants) should be documented, but they are here and they are working and pay taxes and if they legitamently pay taxes than they are helping to support our govt and they should receive the same benefits that other tax payers receive(i.e. housing etc). but if they are not paying taxes then they should not receive help.

Which country is better for a Nigerian trained pharmacist, the USA or Canada?

Which ever country one chooses to migrate will depend on a lot of factors. With the assumption that you will secure a PR (Permanent Resident) status while arriving or prior to arrival to both countries, I can share the following insights. It is not a great idea (thought not impossible) to migrate illegally. It totally throws this case into another basket.Canada will give you the opportunity to become a pharmacist at shorter time than USA, even though many Canadian Colleges of Pharmacists increased their internship hours recently. Also Canada has government funded programs that help new immigrant professionals to adapt to their new environments. In Canada, once licensed in one province you can easily reciprocate with any other province. The process of getting registered in USA has been made even more difficult in recent times eg introduction of TOEFL requirements for all countries. In the past, this requirement was waived for pure English Speaking Countries like Nigeria. USA also do garner some advantages, in spite of the tedious huddles, of having a larger population, larger territory, various private enterprises that employ Pharmacists; the opportunities for employment are narrower in Canada and with Government Sponsored Healthcare, there is not much room for higher salaries for Pharmacists; Having had the opportunity to practice in both countries, I personally find the Canadian Practice more satisfying. But whatever country you choose to go, have you asked your God where He would want you to be? Because with Him providing you guidance and instruction, you will have not just ordinary success but extra-ordinary success in whichever country He chooses to send you. Good luck!!

Which are some of the best states to live in?

You will get subjective answers on this.I think the best state to live depends on many factors. What type of job do you do? It matters if you can find good jobs.Do you have extended family and is it important to live nearby them? What type of weather do you like?Do you like the beach or the mountains? Can you deal with a lot of traffic? Can you deal with cost of living in some areas?Based on my personal experience (biased), I would say California.[1]Pros:It is not too cold that you have to dig your car out of the snow. You have easy access to the beach (e.g. Santa Cruz)You have easy access to the skiing in Tahoe. You can even go hiking to Yosemite. You can found food from almost any country in the world.Lots of job opportunities.Best weather of anywhere.Cons:Traffic is bad and could be real pain.Housing could be really expensive.Pros outweigh the cons for me.Thanks for A2A.Footnotes[1] Image on cheapism.com

I'm foreigner and I want to become a pharmacist in Canada or US ?

Well in Canada a Pharmacist makes about 50,000 or better depending on who and where you work.

There is a point system to immigration

Points for speaking English or French

for having an education etc

Canada will recognize any degree from the US or the UK and most European nations and almost all Commonwealth nations.

If you are coming from another Commonwealth nation you will be given priority over both the Americans and other non Commonwealth nations

Contact Immigration Canada and look at the government web site "hireimmigrants.ca" That is a federal and Provincial scheme to get immigrants with degree's working in their trade or profession as quickly as possible or set them up with equivalency training in Canada

Because we still use parts of the British North America Act the requirements for educations and such are the responsibility of the Province and not the Federal government

Keep this in mind when you are doing research -

What Manitoba will accept is not what PEI will etc

That said any degree earned in any Province or territory os acceptable in any Province

With the possible exception of Quebec who ussually requires all tests be written in French

Also look into the Territories .

The wages up there include isolation pay - If you make 100 dollars here you will make 1,000 there - The reason is that it is very cold there is little popultion and there is daylight 24 hours a day for half the year and darkness for the 24 hors a day durring the other half of the year

A lot of people will go up there work for a few years and them come back south with a big wad -

Which state in the USA is the best to live in, for an African immigrant?

I don't know which ones would be the best, but if I were you, I'd definitely stay away from: Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arizona, and maybe even their adjoining states. Now many of these people are good upstanding citizens, including many who aren't racist, many who claim not to be racist, but still resent the North after suffering a loss in the Civil War. Many will claim that the War of Northern Agression was only about states rights and had nothing to do with slavery. To this day most who fly the confederate banner will insist that the flag only represents southern heritage. States rights and southern heritage are nothing but two big beards intended to hide the racism that runs deep through their veins. They seem to overlook the fact that slavery was a huge part of that heritage, bless their hearts*.Now that's not to say it's impossible to find a community that will be accepting of you, but if you do, it's best to stay close to home and learn which areas you should generally not go near. And this is is also not to say that you would not find any racism at all in the remaining states.*”Bless your heart” is a southern colloquialism that sounds pleasant enough, but in all reality is a thinly veiled insult that translates loosely to, “Go fuck yourself.”
