Who Can Get A Tier 4 Student Visa

Tier 4 student visa?

What do you mean by "sponsor?" You must prove you (& your parents) have sufficient funds for all school + living expenses + return transportation to your country of citizenship. Do you have proof of sufficient funds in your (or your parents') name & prepared to transfer those funds to UK?

Have you been accepted by a recognized, accredited school? Have the documentation to prove it?

If you meet all requirements, apply. Visa authorities then decide whether or not to issue you a visa.

UK tier 4 student visa?

so after 10 days of waiting for my tier 4 student visa which has not been processed yet despite I paid the priority service visa
I asked a question the embassy in regard to my visa status

they replied:
Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

With regards to your query, your visa application has not been completed
yet. Decision in your application has been delayed

what does it mean by "your visa application has not been completed"?

Is there a way to track a U.K. Tier 4 student visa?

Unfortunately, there is no way to track a UK Tier 4 Student visa step by step, not even if you have purchased priority or premium visa services (except gold premium service which is a 24 hour decision). Generally, UK Visa & Immigration will email you when they have recieved your application, saying something like “we have received your application and it is being processed to be assembled and assessed.” If they need more supporting documents, a return waybill, or for you to go in for a credibility interview, they will email you that communication. If not, the next email you get will be to let you know if your student visa has been approved or denied and the return of your documents.

Can I switch from a Tier 2 visa to a Tier 4 visa (student visa) in the UK?

Hi Manaayu,Yes, of course!! You can switch from Tier 2 Visa to Tier 4 Visa in the UK. The condition applies that you must be offered with a place on a course in UK University and you have enough money to support your tuition fee and further stay in the UK.Regarding giving notice to your sponsor/employer, it depends upon you. I would advise you to apply for the Tier 4 visa 3 months before your course starts. Do not wait until you have given the notice or been served out your notice by your sponsor.I would like to draw your attention to this crucial fact that when you will stop working for your sponsor/employer, it will be reported to the UK Border Agency and you will be subjected to Visa curtailment action that renders your visa invalid within 60 days. However no curtailment action will be taken if your visa is expiring in 60 days or less.Do remember, in no condition, you will be allowed to stay in the UK beyond the expiry date of your visa. Therefore, holding an unconditional offer of the UK University is mandatory before your Tier 2 visa expires. For further detailed information visit http://www.studyin-uk.in/service...

Question about UK Visa: Tier 4 General Student Visa?

It's not a "sponsor." You must be accepted by a university authorized by the govt to accept foreign students. Then pay international student fees/deposit, then apply for student visa. You must prove you (& your parents) have sufficient funds to pay all your school + living expenses + return transportation to your country of citizenship to apply for the visa. Expect to need at least GBP30,000-40,000/year, and prove you have that much money. You will then transfer those funds to UK.

You can ONLY attend the school which accepted you. You MUST attend classes full-time as a student in good academic standing or your visa will be revoked. Schools report attendance of their enrolled foreign students weekly. Last day of full-time class attendance is the last day your student visa is valid, and you must return to your country immediately.

I am in Uk in tier 4 student visa, if i born baby do i have to go college?

You have asked this question five times in one hour, that is not allowed here on YA. Wait until you get answers to the original one and add details if needed.

If you went to the UK for the purpose of studying then that is what you should be doing, falling pregnant doesn't prevent you from going to school unless you want it to.

To fully answer your question, yes you need to go to college..

Tier 4 Student visa requirements..

You must have a secured place at a UK-based institution for full-time study. Full-time means a minimum of 15 hours of classroom study per week.
You must be able to support yourself without access to public funds, as well as pay for the course and all accommodation and maintenance.
It is essential that applicants state that they intend to return to their home country after the course is completed.
Visa Conditions
Successful applicants are normally granted a 1 year visa initially, depending on the length of the course.
Students may work for 20 hours per week in term time, and 40 hours per week during the holidays.
Partners and dependents are usually free to work as they choose, as long as the main applicant is going to be studying for longer than 1 year.

UK Visa Student Tier 4 Refusal?

My girlfriend used to study in the UK, granted the first student visa in 2005 for one year only where she opened a credit card. Renewed her student VISA "granted a new one" in end of 2006 for 3 more years untill 30 september 2009 Although she left the UK in 2007.

When she left, she have forgotten about her student credit card which she last used in 2005/2006 and haven't been paying even since she left in 2007 (approx 400 pounds). I acknowledge all the consequences and have told her; she will work out a payment with the Credit Collection agency once she is in UK, note that she have never spoken to them or the bank or they have contacted her by phone or post (as far as she knows).

She have been accepted with an offer to do her MBA in the UK, and she have met all the conditions of the new TIER 4 STUDENT VISA, CAS, full sponsorship, so she meets all the conditions.

is the student credit card default problem will have her visa refused or not? if so what happens? will she be banned from the UK for 10 years? or 5 years? just because of this issue? isn't there anyway to surpass this? She still haven't applied to the VISA, but she is extremely frightened!

Can my UK Tier-4 student visa be rejected or returned if I forgot to sign the application form?

Yes. Your signature is required.

Has anyone with a DUI received a UK Tier 4 Student Visa in the last year? Or been denied?

I will be continuing the second year of a Masters Erasmus Mundus program in the UK this fall (currently in Hungary) and am planning to apply for a student visa soon. I just heard a horror story about a guy in the same program last year being denied entry because of having two DUIs on his record. I have one myself (basic non-crash/injury one, just driving without lights on and thought it had been long enough since I drank, but was proven wrong when they tested me). There is another kind of visa called a Student Visitor visa which doesn't require a background check, but which you can only stay for 6 months with. The program is pretty much exactly 6 months, but I would really like to stay for longer and write my thesis in the UK with the support of the professors there, so it would be great to have a Tier 4 student visa which was not subject to the same time restrictions. Can anyone chime in if you have either gotten approved or denied for this visa because of a DUI in the last year or two (apparently the law was changed on January 1st 2013). Thank you!
