Who Should I Start Week 1 Aaron Rodgers Or Matthew Stafford

Should I start Aaron Rogers or Matthew stafford week 8?

i know rogers is usually a must start but he is playing the jets this week and stafford is playing the redskins. i have greg jennings on my team which is nice to have with rogers but the guy i am playing has calvin johnson so if i start stafford i can get the bonus of getting points when johnson does

Should I trade Will Fuller and Blake Bortles for Matthew Stafford?

Probably not. Stafford is clearly the better fantasy QB, but Will Fuller is “legit” so far. Going into week 3 (as a rookie) he has 90 yards and a touchdown, *and* is heavily targeted by his QB.If you need a better QB, you can stream based on matchup, but it is much harder for WRs. Briefly this is because of “replacement value”: the 12th best QB vs a top 3 QB is a smaller gap than the 30th best WR vs a top tier WR. This is because of the number of starters for each position

Should I play a QB other than Stafford this week? If so, who?

It depends on what your options are. A soild waiver pick-up could be Ryan Tannehil. Stafford has thrown 0 touchdowns and 2 picks in his last two games, for a total of less than 500 yards. I think it is hard to rely on him. And against the Bears he might run into some serious problems. Always keep in mind that this season has had plenty of upsets and we've seen a lot of crazy things happen. Anything can happen. Take a look at your waivers and try to find another, more reliable QB

Rex Grossman, my fantasy team starter; when will this statement become plausible?

OK, my first reaction was to find the guy who just won the most annoying laugh ever contest:But it isn't THAT clear. It depends on what matters more to you -- Rex Grossman's track record, or Mike Shanahan's.Shanahan won Super Bowls in San Francisco as an offensive mastermind.  In Denver, the ponies put up 391 points in year 2 of his program... then 472... then 501... in back to back SB wins.  OK, you say, that was with Elway.http://www.pro-football-referenc...But with Brian Griese at QB, Denver scored 485 points in 2000 (his second year in Shanahan's system as a starter); with Jake Plummer, Denver put up 380+ points in years 1-2-3 in Shanahan's system.Rex Grossman will not be better in FF than:RiversRodgersBradyBreesVickRomoSchaubBut in a Shanahan offense, could he be a top 12 guy?  You'd put Big Ben, Ryan, Cutler, Flacco, Freeman, Stafford, Eli Manning (31 TD last year), Cassel (27 TD last year), Fitzpatrick, Orton, Bradford, Newton, Kolb ahead of him.... That makes him #21 -- best case. McNabb, Henne, Collins, McCown/Gabbert, Hasselbeck/Locker, McCoy, Dalton, Campbell, Alex Smith, Tarvaris Jackson, etc. probably behind. So, he's a capable backup and spot starter in a `12 team league, but not your Bell Cow.

Would you start Baker Mayfield at QB this season if you were Browns' coach, or stick with T.Taylor?

I’d let Taylor play all year unless he gets hurt early on. Hue Jackson pretty much ruined Deshone Kizer last year by shoving him into a bad offense that lacked play makers and destroyed his confidence. Mayfield might be the number 1 pick & hotshot rookie, but he still has to pick up the nuances of playing in the pros and could do with time on the sidelines to watch & learn. There have been occasions where teams have gone with a prize rookie at QB and have had success, but none of them were coming off a 0–16 campaign - the Lions did with Matt Stafford in 2009 but he took a beating, lost 10 of his first 13 starts and didn’t really begin to thrive until his 3rd season. Many of the top veteran pros (e.g Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning and Tom Brady) spent much or all of their first season on the bench - the Browns would be well advised to do the same with Mayfield. If they get to December and are out of contention but showing a few signs of progress, then maybe think about giving him a few reps late in games or even a start or two. But otherwise they should allow Taylor to run the show - he’s a capable QB and should do a decent job for them.

What are your takeaways from week 1 of the NFL season so far?

1 - Patriots solid and the claims of off-season strife were a fiction of the media.2 - NY Jets better than we may have expected.3 - Bills in serious trouble.4 - Dolphins becoming competitive again.5 - Ravens the big story of the AFC North.6 - Steelers in trouble after off-season of finger-pointing and Roethlisberger not improving.7 - Browns definitely better than last year.8 - Bengals ALSO better than expected.9 - Jaguars benefitted from overrated NY Giants team; Jags good but not great.10 - Colts and Titans competitive despite tough losses.11 - Texans not the same; Deshaun Watson not the same player right now.12 - Chiefs and Broncos very solid.13 - Chargers still tough.14 - Raiders look to be in trouble.15 - Eagles off to slow start and may not be as good as advertised.16 - Giants, Cowboys, and Redskins look weak.17 - Big takeaway for Packers is Aaron Rodgers forced to play Bradyball - quick outs, short passes - due to his leg injury, an injury that may hobble him.18 - Bears bad start and uncertain they have what it takes to rebound.19 - Lions in serious trouble with poor showing by Matthew Stafford and reported player pushback against new coach Matt Patricia20 - Vikings the division favorite.21 - Falcons in trouble with uninspiring performance by Matt Ryan.22 - Panthers respectable start.23 - Saints no better than last year.24 - Buccaneers may be the upset champs of the season.25 - Rams division favorite.26 - 49ers now seeing Garoppolo weaknesses now that opponents have video on him; rebound vital to regain momentum.27 - Seahawks competitive but no longer as good as advertised.28 - Steelers players speaking against LeVeon Bell a good sign - being a good teammate includes public criticism of a teammate who is wrong, plus rank-and-file should oppose grossly inflated contracts to the likes of Stafford, Ryan, Rodgers, etc. - Ryan and Stafford played like quarterbacks becoming lazy with guaranteed money and such contracts mean less for other players given need to control spending.

Who will be the starting QB's next year for every NFL football team?

I'll even give you a reason!

PATRIOTS-Tom Brady (Obviously)
JETS-Mark Sanchez (Garrard is a useful back up)
BILLS-Kevin Kolb (they didn't sign him to sit on the bench)
DOLPHINS-Ryan Tannehill (entering his 2nd year,1st rounder)

STEELERS-Ben Roethlisberger (He can lead them to the playoffs)
RAVENS-Joe Flacco (Just won a super bowl for them and got a huge contract)
BENGALS-Andy Dalton (Solid qb,still under his rookie contract)
BROWNS- ???? ...............jk,um.....Brandon Weeden (Colt McCoy has been traded to the 49ers,everyone else sucks and Weeden is already 29 years old! <----so play him !

BRONCOS-Peyton Manning (duh,it's not like they're gonna play John Elway!)
CHARGERS-Phillip Rivers ( He's the best they got)
CHIEFS-Um.....Alex Smith! (The team already announced he'll be starting next fall)
RAIDERS-Geno Smith (They draft Geno Smith cause Palmer sucks and......so does everyone else)

COLTS-Andrew Luck (Great Rookie season last year, sometimes to win you need a little LUCK!
TEXANS-Matt Schaub (Breaking them records!......Not)
JAGUARS-smh probably.....Matt barkley (Draft him and screw everyone else, how many more chances is Blaine Gabbert going to get?)
TITANS-Jake Locker (Don't expect him to be a starter for long, titans will draft a qb!)

COWBOYS-Tony Romo (Got that big contract, and don't say he doesn't deserve it)
EAGLES-Michael Vick (This is tricky cause the house is full of qb's,Vick will start though)
GIANTS-Eli Manning (Idk,probably cause he's Peyton's younger brother)
REDSKINS-RG3 (No Comment)

PACKERS-Aaron Rodgers (Case Closed!!!)
LIONS-Matthew Stafford (duh)
BEARS-Jay Cutler (Even though he'll get sacked!)
VIKINGS-Christian Ponder (Still developing,he'll get there)

SAINTS-Drew Brees (Keep breaking records)
BUCCANEERS-Josh Freeman (He's alright I guess)
PANTHERS-Cam Newton (Heisman Winner,Rookie sensation,etc.)
FALCONS-Matt Ryan (Playoff Performer)

RAMS-Sam Bradford (He better not get hurt)
49ERS-Colin Kaepernick (Read-Option)
SEAHAWKS-Russell Wilson (Great Rookie Year)
CARDINALS- Carson Palmer (They trade for him so he can go back to Heisman form)

NFC North Predictions 2012-2013?

1) Packers 13-3. The have the best QB in the league and have some great WRs for Rodgers to throw too. Their o-line isn't great, but it's good enough to win quite a few games. They will score a ton of points like always so they're average defense won't matter.

2) Lions 12-4. They have a young, electric offense lead by Stafford. He'll keep slinging it to Megatron as well as to Nate Burleson and Titus Young (who will have a breakout year). Best/Leshoure/Smith should get us at least 100yds rushing a game which should be enough to keep defenses honest. If Avril either signs a long term deal or signs the francise tag, they'll have a great d-line with tons of depth. They have three solid linebackers to limit some of the opposing running games.

3) Bears 10-6. Forte had a breakout year last season before the injury. I think he'll keep that up. Adding Marshall was huge for Cutler. The defense is getting older and they didn't add many young guys to help out there.

4) Vikings 5-11. I think that the Vikings could surprise a few people this year. I'm not saying playoffs or anything, but I think Ponder could have a really nice year. Of course, AP has to be healthy for them to get anywhere. I don't think they'll get more than 5 wins.

All these predictions are if everyone stays healthy. Green Bay, Detroit and Chicago make the playoffs.
