Why Am I Not Receiving All My Emails In Yahoo

Not receiving all emails into Yahoo Mail.?

I've worked in wireless for years and have noticed that it is not uncommon for Yahoo accounts. Being a Yahoo fan myself I've come up with different ways to help both customers and myself.

Different ways to triage include:

1.) Removing/Re-inputting account information (which I see you've tried). Deleting the account will not delete specific emails, only the account information from the phone. Upon re-setting up your account details, most accounts are typically refreshed.

2.) Download the Yahoo Mail App. This is by far the easiest solution and works the majority of the time. For some reason, I've noticed that built in mobile email programs have difficulty refreshing as fast as the Yahoo Mail app. I'm not sure why this is, but it's true. Give it a shot if you don't mind a new app!

3.) I've done this for one of my customers because they didn't have the room to download additional applications. You can easily use the phone's internal browser to go to the Yahoo mail website and login from there. To make this more convenient, bookmark the page and then create a shortcut for that bookmark on the phone's homescreen. Creating this shortcut will serve identically to an application!

4.) Although this technically isn't a solution, it should serve for some piece of mind. I've noticed that Yahoo servers will sometimes be problematic. I myself use the device's pre-programmed email function because I like being able to switch between my Yahoo/Hotmail accounts quickly. As mentioned, this isn't as favorable as the Yahoo Mail App. I will have a day here and there where emails aren't coming to my phone, but are still going through on my laptop. I've realized the only thing I can do is wait it out. It's usually not for more than a few hours to a day. If you're experiencing longer delays, please refer to the previous solutions.

Why am I not receiving some emails?

ATT Yahoo deleted my entire inbox. About 1000 emails vanished. I even called Tier 2 tech support, guess what, they don't have a clue as to why it happened. I guess I purposely went thru 1000 emails since yesterday, and deleted them, and forgot about it.

My recommendation, get the hell out of Yahoo while you still can or you risk losing all info.

I am not receiving all of my emails in Gmail, why?

I'm in the same boat. I haven't received personal emails on several occasions on gmail, and it creeps me out because I wonder what other messages I'm not getting. I have a couple of question for you: are you checking & sending your email from a browser (from google.com) or are you using an email program like MS Outlook? And, the people whose emails you did not receive (such as the person who was sitting in front of you), if they try to send you another one, does that get undelivered as well? Or is it hit or miss--i.e. sometimes you receive the email and other times you don't? Please let me know, because hopefully we can both get to the bottom of this! It's driving me nuts.

I'm not receiving my yahoo emails, why?

I too have not received any E-mails --- no regular nor even Bulk Mail --- since around mid-day Friday, February 9th; today is Monday, the 12th (Noon in New Orleans).

I can see E-mails received on February 9th and can Delete them and then see them in the Trash Box and Delete them from there. I just do not have any E-mails in my In Box (or Bulk Box) that were received since mid-day last Friday.

Yahoo does not provide any information that is readily available online. If they E-mailed their users notification of this problem that was useless of course. Nor do they provide any way to get in touch with them. I guess that if you have an account that you pay for they provide this capability --- I don't really know.

Their Search for answers to problems provides nothing that is even remotely related to the question, nor do they provide any way to send them info about the problem.

I was able to find this Yahoo! Answers Canada web page only by doing a Google Search.

This is very serious and is apparently occuring both in Canada, and in the United States (I am writing from New Orleans), and who knows where else, or to what extent.

E-mail is of such importance that even Free accounts should be provided resources for having the problem of not receiving E-mail readily queried, and, resolved.

Yahoo Mail really needs to fix all these problems, and, soon.

Why am I not receiving all the emails sent to me?

Why is Yahoo not delivering all my emails to my account? I have set up a forwarding system to several business emails to be sent to my yahoo account in order to be able to easily check my business emails wherever I am. BUT it seems that Yahoo simply stops emails reaching my account. And I'm not talking of delays, I'm talking of important emails never reaching my yahoo account, not even going to the spam folder.
Yahoo, Why are you doing this? This is not serious, and is affecting my business!

I am not receiving my emails?

I noticed you had an email address in your account which your Yahoo emails were being sent to. I've removed that for you, so emails sent to your Yahoo Mail account will now arrive normally again! Unfortunately, emails forwarded away from your Yahoo Mail account are not able to be restored to your Yahoo Mail account.

If you are still not receiving emails to your Yahoo Mail account, I recommend checking out the Yahoo! Help article "I'm not receiving some or all emails" available at:

I hope this helps you!

Not receiving emails?

My email was hacked and I haven't received any emails in 2 weeks, I need to retrieve them....thanks

Yahoo email account not receiving emails?

This is ridiculous!!! Why can't I get any response or help from Yahoo?!?!? All of the sudden my account is not receiving emails AT ALL. I have tested by having people send me emails and they do not show up in my in-box. The sender does not get an error message either. HOWEVER, when YAHOO sends me an UNHELPFUL "help" email it comes through. Yahoo is about to lose all my accounts because I am so frustrated with the lack of help/response.

What causes Yahoo to stop receiving emails and how can it be fixed?

It could be a thousand different things. The fix could be a thousand different things. There’s not nearly enough information provided to be able to accurately answer. Is it ANY email? Email from specific senders? Are you SURE you aren’t just filtering in to a sub folder? Getting it in spam? Are you using the browser? A email application? If it’s one specific sender, did you block it by accident? Is the sender receiving a bounceback message? Have you tried sending a email to yourself? What happened? Is it all the time? Some times?
