Why Are My Armpits Purple

Why Are My Armpits Purple?

Ok, today me and some friend decided to go to school in dresses today for really no reason, but when I got home I took off my jacket and the pits of my dress and my armpits were purple! I don't know why?!?! Does anyone have nay ideas why this might be?

Purple armpit....don't understand what it is.?

It could be anything that you have used on your armpits. Maybe lotion, razor, shaving cream, wax, deodorant, body wash or even the type of clothing you wear. Like when i wear this silk shirt it makes me get red rashes only on my arms. So it could be from the fabric, anyways if it happens again check the shirt your wearing or the things you used in that area.
Best of Luck :)

Pimple or something under my armpit is purple and when I tried to pop it, it felt like it went inwards?

It may be an ingrown hair. They curl up under your skin and sometimes a little bit of it is out and other times the whole hair is in your skin. They can be pulled out by scratching the top off of it and then using tweezers to pull the hair out, or sometimes you can pop the bump like a zit and then pull the hair the rest of the way out with tweezers. It can be quite painful if it is left in there. The hair itself will make a crunch noise while popping it. If you can not get it out or that dont seem to be what it is, I would ask your doctor about it, it could be an infection from deodorant or the bacteria that is in your perspiration.

Little purple veins below armpit area?

I've noticed that below my left armpit there are some purplish veins/capillaries (they're thin) that become visible when I lift my arm. They usually become almost invisible when I fully lower my arm because the skin folds there. I'm worried they're broken capillaries or little spider veins, I have some broken ones on the right side, but more below my chest than below my armpit where skin doesn't really fold to make them less visible. So basically when I stretch the skin they're there and they look similar to the broken ones, but again not that prominent. What could those be? Is it normal to have an increased number of little capillaries in that spot? It's weird because on the other side I don't really see them... P.S. I'm pale, fairly muscular and with not that much fat.

Why did my deodorant turn purple?

Lastnight i did a quick little shaving under my arm, and then a little while later, i put on deodorant, and it turned PURPLE! Was my body leaking some toxin that mixed with my deodorant to change the color? Or could it have been a little of my shaving lotion still left on my skin? Oh the world is full of questions!
