Why are guys never straightforward??
We don't want to seem rude or inconsiderate. We are usually too dumb to do this adiquettly though, and therefore we can get caught up rambling trying to fix something we just said. Not all guys are like this though, and in face, when a man's become mature he will no longer have to correct any of his statements because they will be well enough thought out from the beggining. Unfortunately, it seems some of the ‘regulars’ from Yahoo Answers has successfully invaded Quora. Fortunately, the community is able to mitigate many of them by correcting their atrocious spelling, grammar and at times, blatant trollish banter bordering on pure stupidity.As straight forward as I can say this, Yahoo Answers is literally the ass end of the internet in terms of Q&A web tools.Quora is good for what it’s supposed to do, but I prefer Reddit in the way it handles overall content. Reddit Moderation is very hands-off, unless content comes to a boiling point. Quora Moderation is from my point of view, flip-flopping in quality and I find that the best writers are commonly punished, because some asshat decided to team up with other asshats to make sure those people are banned or ‘humbled’.Basically, if you can’t argue intellectually with the answer poster, you can punish them by collectively downvoting/reporting their answers.I am aware Reddit isn’t a Q&A web tool, but as a threaded-view forum, it can still be used as one. Of course, while I prefer Reddit’s way of doing stuff, I still prefer to use Quora more. It’s simpler and straight to the point.
What is a normal, straightforward person?
You see, I'm confused because some video game 'confused' my definition of normal. But before, I used to think normal meant a cool guy who's really funny/witty and has good social skills. But now I think a normal person might be cynical. Also, does 'don't try to be someone you're not' mean don't try to be happy if you're unhappy? Thanks, now lets take a breather.

Is Quora a better website for asking questions than Yahoo Answers?Quora is a last resort for me. I always search for an answer using a search engine before presenting it in a question on Quora.Increasingly, I'm finding more and more of the questions I search using search engines are leading me back to answers on Quora. I almost never encounter one that leads me to a Yahoo answer.You can draw your own conclusions from that.However, this does have its drawbacks. When I looking for sources to cite for an answer I’m preparing for Quora… Pretty much the last thing I want is to cite an answer from Quora unless it’s a question about Quora policies or procedures and the answer in Quora is authoritative enough to cite. Then again, if the answer I find in Quora answers the question I’m preparing, I’ll more than likely simply post the link to the authoritative answer rather than to repeat it.
Why can't girls give a guy a straight answer?
alright the first answer was obviously from a girl, and i feel your pain man. the reason is quite simple they think that they are, but their minds work differently than ours do
Am i too straightforward with people?
I'm a very honest person but sometimes i think i may be too mean without, well, actually being mean. Sometimes i think i'm too straightforward with people. Some girls have told me i shouldn't be too straightforward and direct with a girlfriend or good friend because it may hurt their feelings. What i do is i usually is try not to beat around the bush when it comes to a serious problem and directly state how i feel. To me it feels like the best way to get to the root of a problem. However, sometimes i feel people don't appreciate this and would almost rather me sugarcoat things to make them sound better to them. So what i'm saying is i think i may be too honest. Also it's like i cant mess with peoples heads, i'm not good at it. I'll mess with their heads or give them a taste of their own medicine (if they deserve it) but then 10 minutes later i'll tell them what i'm doing and that i'm joking because i dont like to see people confused by me. So... should i be less straightforward?
