I can't login to Yahoo Mail, keeps looping me back to the login page?
I have several Yahoo accounts. But my main one that I use for everything I can't login to Mail, Messenger, anything. When I try to login to Mail, it just loops me back to the login page. It was working fine a few days ago but now this. I've tried changing the password several times, still can't login. I've tried contacting Yahoo Customer Care several times, they are no help. They keep telling me to check my security settings on my computer, plus to try different browsers, reset the cookies, things like that. I've done all that, I still can't login. But the weird thing is it's only this one account I can't login to. The other ones I can still login to fine. Also I know it isn't my computer, the settings, or the browser. I'VE TRIED TO LOGIN TO YAHOO MAIL ON ANOTHER COMPUTER, STILL CAN'T LOGIN. I EVEN TRIED TO LOGIN USING MY CELL PHONE, STILL CAN'T LOGIN. I think it must be on their end cuz I'm fresh out of ideas. Anyone know what's wrong or how to help me? Cuz Yahoo's useless!

yes, i am facing the same problem for about a week (i am in singapore)- and have tried the various methods online forum suggested. Only one idea worked for me - thanks for the person who provided the solution of using a lower browser like Opera 8.5. I managed to get into yahoo mail classic (finally after a week!) using Opera 8.5 after ignoring the request of Yahoo to switch to beta. my yahoo is configured to beta currently, but i notice that we can't switch it back now! Using opera 8.5, there is a place where they let you choose to download newer browser to go beta or just go to classic email directly, and there is a link here "switch back" at the top left corner of the page, but it does not work!! What's more - the page code for it is void! So the only way for me to view yahoo in a presentable manner (not the mobile text link) is to keep ignoring the request to use beta and use opera 8.5. But this is very unsettled and frustrating, why can't we switch back yahoo so that it can load properly with firefox and IE? i don't like to have another browser just specially for this issue. Yahoo has so far not providing any offical answers to the frustrated users around the world - this is very disappointing!

Hi! I've had EXACTLY the same problem and I've been playing around with my browser and I fixed it up. Here's what you do. 1) LOG OUT of Yahoo (this means the complete log-off, not just close the window 2a) If you use Mozilla Firefox, press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL - a window will pop up. In this window, check all checkboxes and press "Erase Data". Then open yahoo.com, log in and voila, it should be working. 2b) If you use Internet Explorer (v6), go to Tools->Internet Settings->and in the middle, there's "Temporary Internet Files". Press "Delete cookies" and then "Delete Temporary Files" and check "Delete offline content". Having done that, open yahoo.com log in, and it should be working.
