Hell no...each mexican has chingos of kids which would all dominate! We are livin la vida loca! Why would you bother them if they don't bother you? Cause when you involve one you involve ALL!!!!!!!
Why are south American immigrants coming to the U.S. and not settling in Mexico or somewhere else?
About 2,000 immigrants from the caravan settled in Mexico but a lot more refused mainly because the opportunities and safety in the United States are higher and more importantly because the minimum wage in Mexico is extremely lower than it should be, being lower than most Central American countries.(source: List of official minimum wage rates in different countries)According to Economists, the miminum wage should represent the average labor productivity of said nation but sadly the salary is established by the government of each nation, the minimum salary in Mexico represents about 13.4% of its GDP per capita (average wealth) as you can confirm by the source which is about 1,624 dollars a year.Interestingly China and Russia also have very low minimun salaries than their levels of productivity deserve, in Russia it represents 16.3% of its average wealth which would be 2,248 dollars a year and in China represents 34.8% (2,516 dollars a year).Now what is crazy about this is that the minimum salary in Honduras is about $2,500 a year, being higher than Mexico´s and Russia´s and almost as high as China. The Guatemalan minimum wage is about 2,987, being higher than all of the aformentioned countries. Now one might ask, “How can this be?”, well the answer would be that Hondura`s minimum wage represents about 98.6% of its average wealth and in Guatemala it represents about 79.4%, so they wont have many incentives to stay in Mexico.The reason the average salary in Mexico is so low is because the government wants to bring in Foreing Direct Investment but that argument is critisized by many (myself included) because Mexico already has about 4 times more foreign investment than the Mexican investment elsewhere in the world which brings debt (since investment counts as an import) so the government is forced to devaluate the currency (to avoid Mexicans from buying a lot of foreing goods and so to evade a deficit) and due to that Mexico has one of the lowest unemployment rate but at the costs of Mexicans earning a lot less than what they should gain. That is why the government of Canada and the United States wanted Mexico to raise the minimum salary in the NAFTA renegotiations since economics agree that Mexico has a level of productivity almost as high as Chile and they dont want their companies to leave their respective nations of origin in high quantities.
Why Americans are so against Immigrants (illegal or not)?
First of all, let me start by saying that I was born in America and my parents were once immigrants. My mom is from Brazil and my dad is from Middle East. I'm happy that I am mixed because I can experience two different culture =p Well I just don't understand why ppl are so against immigrants... especially Mexican immigrants. All they want is a better life, and America has the best to offer it. Wouldn’t u want the best possible life? Do u have any idea what they have to go through to jump the border? I know this Mexican construction worker who said he paid $1000 to a group of guys to help him jump the border (of course there was more ppl along with him) He told me during the trip he witnessed women being raped, children dying of hunger/thirst and travelers just collapsing from the hot weather. It’s kinda sad when they realize they have to go back to their country. Okay so I know this girl in my school that is very racist against illegal immigrants and we are having a conversation just yesterday. I asked her, what bother her the most and she said that immigrants are taking all of the available jobs out there. Awww come on, most immigrants work getting paid min wage or even less and their jobs are more likely to be those job that no one wants to work (harvesting, construction worker, etc…) She also said some immigrants come here with a criminal record…….if u had a criminal record, wouldn’t u want to move somewhere else? They are ruining the economy? Okay that’s the only thing I agree, we can’t tell if they are paying their taxes or not, and yet they’re taking advantage if our public system, such as our children’s education. Sure this mean more fund for ESL students, but come on…we are on debt and we are paying millions of dollar to the War in Iraq. Why pay millions dollar for the useless war while we can use the money to help a human being in having better life? The only thing that annoys me is that we are here paying our taxes and they are not. So in my opinion, to solver this, we should welcome illegal immigrants, register every one of them (not necessarily make them US citizen), and make sure they are paying their taxes. Come on, we are all human….immigrants was the one who build this great country. Think about it~
Why don't Mexican immigrants just fix their own country instead of coming here?
The fact is that the Mexicans have a country of there own to repair. If things are as bad there as some of you are saying then isnt it up to them to fix it?. The vast majority of Illegals in this country were gainfully employed in mexico prior to there illegal entry to the U.S. Some of you asked..."have you ever been to mexico"?..NO...why would I want to go there?
Why anti immigrants use as an argument?
I have yet to see anyone use that as an arguement. However I have seen plenty of folks, myself included, arguing that ALL immigrants should learn the native language of the nation they have immigrated to. That is if they have any desire to better their position and prosper. Otherwise they are sentencing themselves to low income jobs that offer no advancement.
Should the US allow Mexican immigration?
Do we accept immigrants from Mexico? Yes we do accept immigrants from Mexico. Should we accept immigrants from Mexico? That’s a whole different question.Should we deny Mexican immigration? I feel we should deny immigration from Mexico at this time. The border between Mexico and the US is being overly abused by illegal aliens crossing into the US. Mexico has done nothing to stop this abuse. Since it is their citizens that are committing the crime I believe Mexico should be held accountable. Therefore I feel that Mexico should pay for the cost of the wall. The largest number of immigration violators are of Mexican decent. We currently have over 11 Million illegal aliens in the US. Over half are Mexican. Until the US is able to deport all the Mexicans living in the US illegally I feel the US is justified in denying additional Mexican immigrants.I also believe that we should recognize that 90% of all Mexicans living in our country illegally and 70% of all legal Mexican immigrants receive welfare of some sort from the US. We do not need to increase the expense of poverty and welfare on our overdrawn budget.Mexican people are part of a culture that is deeply ingrained. It is difficult for them to assimilate to other cultures. In fact most of the people from Mexico living in the US are not happy here. They would rather return home to Mexico. They come to America because of the corruption, poverty and crime that exists in Mexico. The US is trying to help communities in Mexico get these problems under control. Ultimately Mexico and the people of Mexico need to resolve their own problems. And bring law and order to their communities. Mexican people have high work ethics. I believe they are productive and capable of thriving in the country they truly love.If we continue to allow them to abuse our immigration laws and live in poverty in our country we are not helping them or ourselves. Helping is one thing Abuse is another. We can not allow our selves to be victims. It’s time we put our foot down. This is our country. It is time for resolve. It is time for reality. We need to take back our country.
What is the difference between Mexican immigration now and say Irish or Italian immigration 100 years ago?
Obviously I understand the legal issue involved but do these Mexicans not simply want a better life for there children the same way many of your ancestors did when the came over from the OLD COUNTRY. How can it be fair and just to decide these people are illegal therefore their children will not be afforded the same opportunites as you had. Surely America should be doing everything in its power to accommodate.
Is Mexican immigration to the U.S. comparable to immigration from Muslim countries to Europe?
In many ways it is- yes! It is in fact rather amusing to hear many far right Americans waling about Swedistan, when their own country is turning in to a Latin American country.
