Depending on which type of guy you like [ghetto, preppy, goth, skater, etc.] do you like if they wear hate? any type of hats like preppy hats, fitted hats, beanies etc. Do you like them or is it a turnoff?

Before we get to your 2 questions, it needs to be acknowledged that not everybody looks good in a hat, not matter what kind. Example: Put a ballcap on your head. Do you look like Steve Young, or do you look like Jerry Mathers as The Beaver? Now try a cowboy hat. Do you look like Clint Eastwood in High Plains Drifter, or do you look like Steve Martin in the birthday party scene in Parenthood?For your first question….Some do, and some don't. But like the other person answered, wear it or don't wear it because it's you, and not because someone else will like it or not. Because not everybody will (Or won't) like it. And that also helps you because you're wearing it with confidence as opposed to hoping it will attract or not, which is the opposite of confidence. (BTW hats such as colonial three cornered hats, highly decorative sombreros, and horned Viking helmets require extreme levels of confidence for most wearers.)Note….if by hat, you mean a ballcap, it depends on the place and time. County Fair? Yes. Wedding? No.For your second question…..Neither. Whatever hat you wear, wear it at the normal angle the hat was designed for and how it fits naturally on your head. Otherwise it will look like an affectation and that youre trying too hard. And bonus points if your head is so horribly misshapen that it looks like it's forward or backward. Now you're wearing it as it naturally fits you AND it's tilted forward or backward. You the man!!!!Note….if by forward vs backward you don't mean “tilted”, but “facing” probably either way is fine for a ballcap. For cowboy hats, viking hats, or motorcycly helmets its a no-no. i never wear hats, but my bro gave me an oil and gas hat its white and black with orange lettering looks pretty cool to me (thank the lord its not the polo frat crap or anything) but i was wondering what girls think about guys who wear hats that arent like polo, or a basketball/baseball team. im 20 by the way and good looking, not trying to be cocky or anything..just wondering if i could wear it around campus (might be kind of hard to answer without pics, i imagine) but generally, what stereotype goes along with hats?

Its an old custom. Most cowboys are from Mexico. When a cowboy puts his hat on a girl he is implying she is hers and if she allows him to put it on her head, it means she is willing to enjoy sex with him.

Alright, first of all, this is hilarious. Second, I'm a black girl and almost always attracted to guys outside of my race. Third, maybe you come off as a tool lol. If they don't like you, then they just don't like you. Some girl out there likes you so stop acting like black men get all the girls and continue on your quest to finding one that wants you!
Why do guys wear their hats backwards?
As they don't know any better - in American English there is a charming phrase to denote this behaviour: "BASIC" - like taking selfies with a duckface with your index finger & middle finger extended, posting pictures of your meals on social media, having "inspirational quotes" on social media, bragging about how much you drank last night, sitting with your feet "up" on other furniture, talking too loud on the phone, revealing too much personal information, I could go on . . .Baseball caps are repulsive. Other than when playing baseball - they should never be worn at all - anyone ever wearing one should have it nailed to their heads.
