Why Do I Always Dream About The Same Guy

Always dreaming about same guy, what does it mean?

Well I had another dream of the guy who I used to think had a thing for me

Now that I think about it, I dreamed about him 6 times and is getting annoying =.=

Most of the dreams were him following discretely-- in the mall, "from the shadows"

Sometimes in dreams he would talk to me as we had a light conversation or so

Another dream we passionately kissed while flowers bloomed everywhere

The current dream I had was him watching me again, and me getting annoyed that he did. I tried to avoid him that time but he would not stop staring. He didn't talk in the dream.

In real life he does the same things by following, watching, just staring when he sees me, but in reality we could never be friends again. (Due to drama between friends, him and some other friends). So we are not friends anymore due to bad circumstances between my old friends. But when we do see each other he watches like an owl... I just have a feeling he had feelings somewhere... you know women's intuition =.=

And no I don't think about him 24/7 7 days a week =.= Sometimes dream pop up for no good reason.

Is there any significance to these dreams? If so what are your opinions?

Who is this guy? Shows up in my dreams...?

I'm one of those people who remember their dreams really well. They're usually long and complicated with lots of detail. I guess that's my writer side coming out. But there is this guy who keeps showing up in my dreams. I know that's weird. I heard this fact about dreams and how everyone in your dream is someone you've seen at least once in your life, because your brain can't make up someone all on it's own. So I guess I must have seen him somewhere before but I don't think I have.

He shows up, either I see him across the room, or he helps me figure out something, or he's a key character of my dreams. Either way, he knows I'm dreaming, and I know I'm dreaming whenever I see him. He sometimes will come up to me and I'm usually like "It's you! What are you doing here?" and he usually says something like "I'm just keeping an eye on you." or "When you get to the throne room, don't look HIM in the eye...." and gives me some sort of hint on how to complete the mission (or whatever the dream is about).

So what exactly does that mean? Why is he so important in all my dreams? I sometimes ask him his name and he gets a disappointed look on his face and says "Come on, you don't remember me?" but I do! I just don't ever remember his name when I wake up. And when I'm asleep I recognize him right away, but as soon as I wake up it's like I can't even remember what he looks like.

I'm not going 'round the bend, am I?
;) <---sorry, a little alice humor...

Why do I keep dreaming of the same guy I haven't seen in years?

Because you still hope from the bottom of your hear you’re going to end up with me. I think this will never happen anyway. You should move on. Sis, I spent 3 years of my life(with pauses)fantasizing and daydreaming about a guy who never gave me attention out of the moments when I indirectly asked him to do it because I was gravitating around him. Welp, hope you’ll grow sick of expecting to see something will never occur.

Why do i keep dreaming about the same person?

i keep dreaming about the same person and i have had about 5 or 6 dreams so far. i don't really like them and i don't hate them. in the dreams, i seem to get older and the time warps into the future but he stays the same age. i dont know what these dreams mean but others tell me it's because i have feelings for him that i don't know of yet

Why do I keep dreaming about the same person as if we were in a relationship?

You don't give the complete dream, nor do you give genders. I'm assuming you are a woman, and the other in your dream is male. For every woman a man in her dream more often represents her masculine side. Your masculine side as the image of this outer male appears will have important opposite qualities and attitudes from you. If your dominant function is feeling, being more heartfelt the inner man will be more rational, logical, and much less heartfelt.  This could be the opposite to, you more rational, he more heartfel. Only you can know sure. Therefore we tend to be attracted to our opposite, for the purpose of creating better balance in our lives. The dream uses the image of this man for this purpose, to help you reach better  balance in life if you integrate more of his opposite qualities and attitudes into your life.To do so will bring you better balance in your life.In addition the man in a woman's dream can also be understood as her executive function. This executive function helps her assert herself more out into life, and puts her in the driver's seat of her life, but only if you integrate his opposite qualities and attitudes into your life. The inner image of a man in a woman's dream can change over time especially as she grows and mature.Best wishes.

Why do I keep dreaming about the same individual?

Some details for the above question:For some time now, I have repeatedly dreamed about a particular indivdual and I cannot think as to the reason why. I have investigated the possible reasons and none of them are really satisfying; the common explanation would be that you dream of someone frequently because you desire/have a crush on this person. Whilst it would hypothetically (and I’m being very hypothetical here) not be impossible for me to grow to like her, she simply does not have that ‘spark’ for me to be instantly attracted to her and I most certainly am capable of taking my mind off her at will.Another explanation is that you repeatedly dream of an individual because you are concerned or worried about this person. This too is most likely not the case as whilst I would certainly not wish any harm to come to her, I have more important things to be worried about than someone who I see no reason to be worried about considering most people (at least in the UK) are by default safe.Others have suggested that the individual represents a state or time of happiness you long for which the subconciousness encodes in that person. No doubt there were some good times with this person - she even wrote me a card complimenting me how I ‘think deeply’ which I found was rather kind but there have certainly been many others who I have shared good times with and have shown me kindness so I don’t know why my subconciousness would single her out from a significant pool of candidates. There is then the religious explanation which says that some dreams are signs from God. If this is a sign, I honestly do not know what the significance of it.What puzzles me more is that I haven’t seen this person for three years so I’m not sure as to why my subconciousness hasn’t exactly ‘updated’ itself. So, any ideas?? Love to hear them!

Why do i keep dreaming of the same stranger?

I'm not sure what your religious/spiritual beliefs are, but here's a thought. I'm a believer in reincarnation and I'm fairly convinced that some intimate relationships between souls can extend across many lifetimes. To my way of thinking, it is possible that two souls who were intimately involved with each other in some way (e.g. husband-wife, best friends, parent-child) in a previous life could "cry out" for each other in their future lives if they find themselves separated. It is also possible that he is your "soulmate" and the two of you are "meant" to be together, so that is why your souls are being drawn towards each other in your dreams, even though the two of you have never physically met.

Again, I don't know whether you believe in reincarnation or soulmates, so I don't know whether these possible explanations are relevant to your way of thinking. Nevertheless, if there is a real guy out there who is sharing your dream space because both of your souls are being drawn towards each other, the challenge is for him to overcome his fear or shyness of approaching you.

So here's something to try. It's a gamble, and admittedly not a very likely one to succeed, but it might be worth a try just in case. Before you go to sleep, resolve in your mind to give this guy (next time you dream about him) some way to contact you anonymously in real life. Maybe an email address, a social networking account, ask.fm, whatever. Some way to let you know that he is really out there....without having to reveal his identity to you. If this IS a real guy, then that would provide him with a path to approach you in real life without having to be brave enough to reveal his true identity to you. Hopefully that is enough for him to lessen the fear barrier that prevents him from approaching you.

Hope this helps. Blessings!

Why do I keep having dreams about the same person? How do I confront him about it?

It's because you're in complete love with him to the infinity level. This also tells that there is somehow some cosmic energy linking you both which leads him to be awake in your dreams whenever you fall asleep. This is due to the urge and longing to see him right by your side, to watch him till your heart gets content with it even though this would mean being together for a lifetime.Regarding confronting him/ her you need to take this slow and steadily, become good friends to a point where your weirdness or casual behaviour is his usual and then you should ask him in a indirect way like seeking his opinion on this topic telling him this happened to you freind or telling him that just yesterday morning I dreamt of you and tell him the dream and watch for his reaction very keenly withoutloosing any detail and you will definitely get your answer.I know this sounds too lengthy but this is the best incognitive approach possible without any risks.Hope this answers your question and helps you. Best of luck in regards with your dream person and your life ahead.

Why do I keep dreaming about the same person and how do I stop it?

I subscribe to the thinking that dreams are our unconscious trying to make our conscious aware of something going on inside our psyche. Each character in our dream is actually a part of our being. For instance we have - our inner child, our inner male, our inner female, our inner parent, our inner adult. So, which part of you could the character that keeps reappearing be?. My inner male is wounded and my inner female is vibrant. In the past I have had many dreams of my wife cheating or flirting or ignoring me. What was going on was my inner female was telling my inner male to man up. The problem with most of us, though, when being confronted by our inner selves is we don’t have the knowledge or power to respond to what our unconscious is telling us. For example, where does a person who is insecure find the strength to be secure when they are being called out for being insecure? The truth is, bravery or courage or security COMES AFTER we display the act of bravery or courage. In sports, we have the misconception that star athletes have no fear or trepidation. The truth is, many, if not all are afraid or nauseous or terrified, but they will themselves past the emotion. And in the willing past the emotion, comes the courage, the bravery, the strength.
