Why Do I Get Hungry 30 Minutes After Eating

Why am I still hungry after eating?

A few good point already mentioned here, including eating because you are bored and fidgity. Are you eating foods that make your blood sugar drop fast?Blood glucose (or Blood sugar) is the amount of sugar in your bloodstream. There should always be a steady flow and your body is brilliant at regulating this - even when you starve yourself for a day or two. When you eat meals high in High GI carbohydrates (known as simple sugars), such as processed refined brown/yellow foods, ready-made sauces, marinades, sugary sodas, sweets, cakes, biscuits..., then your blood sugar will spike. After the short spike in sugar during a meal, your body will work hard to restore the blood sugar back to a normal level again. This causes a Crash. And the Crash causes you to crave more of this food. The more you continue to eat foods like this, the more your body will be in this vicious cycle:It takes time and will-power to find the balance back, but a great way to achieve this is to replace the foods mentioned above with the following:Healthy FatsNutsAvocadoFishOils (cold)Other FatsMilk & Yoghurt & CheeseMeatEggsVegetables & Fruit (around 50% of your plate)The higher the fibre in your diet, the fuller you'll feel and you'll rake in all of the benefits from vitamins, minerals and performance-boosting properties.Although you might feel like you're eating less, these high fibre and high fat foods will keep you fuller for longer. You might see some healthy weight loss as a bonus! Without even dieting.

I eat, but minutes later I'm hungry again ..... WHY?

On average, people eating reasonable portions of balanced meals get
hungry about every three to five hours. Check the balance of foods you
eat. Refined carbohydrates like white rice, baked goods and most
crackers or pretzels are processed by the body fairly quickly. That
means that blood sugars go up and back down rapidly, tending to leave
you hungry again within two hours. Whole-grain breads and cereals are
processed more slowly and may leave you satisfied longer.
Studies show that hunger is satisfied longer when a meal or snack
includes a small amount of protein. That doesn't have to mean meat.
Protein is also found in milk, cheese, yogurt, tofu and other soy
products, eggs, nuts, seeds and dried beans.
Also, vegetables and fruits are missing from many Americans' meals,
yet they provide bulk that can help satisfy hunger.
Have you let a low fat diet get too low in fat? Fat leaves the stomach
very slowly, so a small amount of fat in a meal keeps hunger
satisfied. If your goal is weight loss, excess hunger could be a sign
that you've cut your calories too low or that you are pushing to reach
a weight that is too low for you.
Finally, consider this: Are you actually physically hungry all the
time, or do you simply feel like eating? Eating when you're not hungry
can mean that eating has become a habit for coping with boredom,
procrastination or stress. If this is the case for you, the key is to
develop ways to handle these situations without food.
If you address all these possibilities and still feel hungry all the
time, talk with your physician. Constant hunger not related to any of
these factors could be due to medication or a medical problem that
needs attention.

Why am i hungry 30 min after eating Chinese food?

I once heard that this is because Chinese food is traditionally very low in fat, and it's the fat in food that keeps you feeling full longer. The Chinese themselves tend to fill up on carbs (rice, noodles) and mostly vegetables at their meals (they eat MUCH less meat than we do in the West), so it may be that you're actually not eating enough (you say you don't eat too much)! I don't think it's MSG, as that's simply a flavour enhancer derived naturally (from beetroot), most Chinese restaurants don't even use it any more (and haven't for years), and those that do would only use a tiny, tiny amount.

Why am i hungry every 30 minutes?

Because your metabolism may have increased since you became pregnant and its processing your food more quickly then before. Instead of eating two or three LARGE meals why don't you divide it up and try eating every two hours. My mom told me to eat two ounces every two hours. This will prevent you from having the "hungry" feeling and it will also satisfy baby. . . its also a good way to loose weight once you have baby. So getting in the routine of it now would help out for later. It also helps with morning sickness if you are having any or any type of heartburn or indigestion.

This is completely normal. From an evolutionary standpoint, young children want more food because they are growing physically and mentally. As people get older, however, it is recommended to eat food less frequently. I wouldn't worry at all. I was that same way when I was younger.
