Why do some girls look better with their hair up?
I agree with CSR It was too educational but yes it's all true. I wear a ponytail a bit high and it fits me, but I look pretty with my hair down which I don't wear much. Some people have their eyes or mouth or nose in a different position, or they're mouth or nose are big which don't fit their hair being down. It's the form of face the thickness, or thinness plays a role. I have a friend that never wears her hair down because she would look different. Some girls have different features liek you said. I'm a confusement but I hope you get me. It matters the size and position of the face.

ok... not all girls look better with their hair down... but most men prefer women with their hair down simply because it makes them more like the opposite sex... it's hard to explain but that's just how it works... oh yeah and hair down shows people her natural beauty... shows how she is the way she is...yup hard to explaiin but i hope i helped... :D

Why do I look better with my hair up, than down? Isn't it the opposite?
When my wife wears her hair 'down', it can cover up the natural curves and lines of her face and neck. To me, my wife's neck is a very attractive thing because it accentuates the slope of her shoulders and jawline. So when she wears her hair up, I get to admire those things about her that are usually covered because she wears her hair down most of the time. Another thing that is often overlooked is wearing your hair up will make you seem taller, and actually has a 'slimming' effect. Having said that, you're 14 and shouldn't be concerned about it so much. You still have a lot of physical growing to do.I'll bet a lot of boys like you just the way you are and that's what matters. High school is tough enough on young ladies without them having to feel they're constantly in modeling competitions with the rest of the girls. It always worries me when young people can't look at themselves without feeling they have to discern beauty and ugliness in themselves. You're a creation of God and he made you in his 'image'. That makes you beautiful, period! Have a super day and take some time to do something nice for yourself.
