Why Do We Have War On Earth

Why do we have Earth day and why?

Earth Day is not without its various origins. It is widely circulated and understood that the official Earth Day began in 1962, when Senator Gaylord Nelson wanted to “…persuade President Kennedy to give visibility to this issue [environmental problems] by going on a national conservation tour.” That idea was not a success, but it was the seed that spawned the beginning of the idea of an official Earth Day. 20 million people participated in the first Earth Day that took place on April 22, 1970.

earth daySelf-proclaimed Earth Day founder John McConnell writes that his original purpose was to provide a date for the world to rededicate themselves to the care of the Earth, and that the day would fall on the March Equinox, recognized on March 20th. The intent was defined and detailed in his Earth Magna Charta. Peter Tamaras, head of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, requested that McConnell write an Earth Day Proclamation. McConnell presented his Proclamation to the mayor of San Francisco, and on March 1st, 1970, Mayor Joseph L. Alioto issued that Proclamation as the Earth Day Proclamation of San Francisco.

Another influence was almost certainly the celebration of Arbor Day, which has its own interesting history. In the 1840s, Nebraska pioneers had few trees to build with or for use as fire. One of these pioneers, J Sterling Morton and his wife, planted trees around their new home. Mortan later became secretary of the Nebraska Territory and proposed that citizens new to the state set aside April 10th as a day to plant trees. Nebraskans planted about one million trees that first Arbor Day. In 1882 Nebraska changed Arbor Day to April 22nd, Morton’s birthday.

Why do we have to be stuck on earth?

Im like a pseudo scientist.. its how i view myself

Earth is awesome Humanity sucks...

I suppose you could also ask.. why does a flower have to be stuck in the dirt!
analogy...
Sure... its a big yellow flower with bright colors and lots of hope, that maybe one day it would leave offspring not confined to the dirt... but the flower still has some wilted leafs and has grown a little crooked as it struggled for life... but that's evolution...

As humanity came into the space age it was still heavily wilted...
Today in the information age. Humanity seems to be struggling to fix a whole host of problems in a variety of ways. Which is perfect, but it's unorganized and cumbersome and sometimes just creates more problems

I suppose the hope of the new delima is that we do not destroy ourselves we may one day view a galaxy rise from a planet within a globular cluster outside the milky way....

The only way to achieve success is to press forward

If it wasnt for people that live "before their time" everyone else would have little reason to think about tomorrow

http://www.symphonyofscience.com/

I throughly enjoy this music... and get lost in it all the time ... enjoy...

As far as aliens go.. im personally wholly convinced that they are there and most likely have an equation for the probability of our continued survival figured out. The milky way is mostly likely cataloged in what is sometimes referenced as "encyclopedia galactica"

It pains me to live in a culture of people who are mostly disinterested in the most important discovery that is humanly possible.

Why is there war on this earth?

There is war because a certain angel named lucifer decided enough wasn't enough and he wanted more! God who is slow to anger and is a jealous God cast lucifer out and lucifer spoke to Adam and Eve in the garden of eden and lied to them and convinced them to disobey God and they to got put out and as a punishment for the serpents wicked deed, God said the snake will bite our heel and man will crush his head. This is a metaphor that means from now on good and evil will war against each other and man who was once good will be evil and will have to fight to be good. We are all struggling because their is an all consuming spirit in us that are righteous spirit is battling against for control. We war everyday on many different fronts.

Some of humanity has figured out how to call a truce and put an end to this needless battle, that truce is faith in a higher authority, hope in Christ Jesus! We can not win on our own we need God and God like a patient and loving father is waiting for us to call out to Him!

So keep doing what you want or keep doing what God wants and you will get your just rewards!

As for me and my house we serve the Lord, God and we will not lean to our own understanding but we will glorify God, that He may glorify us through Christ our Lord and Savior, being faithful that God is not a man that He should lie and no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
Seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness and everything else will be added to you. God will pour out a blessing so great that the overflow will satisfy all of your generations for eternity.

Now mind you some of humanity loves the taste of blood and are to vested in the pursuit of destruction to seek peace and this is the reason why we will always have death and mayhem and chaos on the earth until the end time when Jesus Christ will restore all of God's righteous to power!

Why were we put on Earth ? And who by ?

One day God said, "Let there be light." and then there was light. He created the heavens, the earth, the sun, the planets and the moon. His earth was at once filled with lava and then he made it rain. He grew trees and gave them seeds so they can grow and the sun produced all their food because trees make food by photosynthesis. Then later God created animals. When he created Adam, he made him the ruler of all the animals and was put inside the Garden of Eden. There were 2 fruit trees in the middle of the Garden and God told them not to eat the certain fruit from a certain tree also known as The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Because Adam was all alone, God saw that it wasn't good to have the man alone so he took one of Adam's ribs and beared Eve with it. Later a snake carries them to the middle of the garden and tells Eve to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Eve wanted to have the fruit because it was so beautiful and delicious and then she ate some and gave some to Adam. Adam ate it too. Then they all felt ashamed and ran and hid from God in a bush because they found out they were naked. God punished them and kicked them both out the Garden of Eden and life was hard for them. When Adam and Eve had children, they gave birth to Cain and Abel and their 3 other sisters. We are put on this earth because Jehovah God told Adam and Eve to have children and their children's children and then their children's children's children and so on. It would go on forever on this Earth.

Has there ever been a day without war on Earth?

yes before life then amazingly little cells were created that started to compete for the suns energy. THen they evolved into creatures that ate the plants and each other. SO there never has been peace as you would define it on earth there is no peace anywhere in the universe its an expanding explosion of creation and destrucion. Thank God there is no peace. If there were peace nothing at all would ever happen.
Play the game and work for peace amongst humans thats a great Goal. Accept the fact that the world is imperfect accept it play the game then you will find peace in the reaches of inner space.

At which point was there no war going on Earth, since the rise of humans?

Of course we can't prove it, because this would have been before there was any written history, but if you define "war" as a state of conflict between two groups, not of the same tribe, over anything whatsoever (a waterhole, hunting grounds, the snatch of a woman or three), the answer is probably...Never.The Australian aboriginies, in their traditional mode, are the most primitive humans we know about; they probably live very much as Stone Age man did.  And they fight each other.  Over waterholes and hunting grounds, mostly, which is logical given the inhospitable terrain of the Outback.  As I understand it, they do it in a rather ritualized way, but they do it, all the same.  If we assume that Stone Age man behaved similarly, we have to figure that there's never been a year in which somebody didn't fight somebody somewhere, even if only for an hour or two.

Why do we have to have war?

Every city, every county, every town, every state, and every country all have the "bad guys". They make life miserable for
everyone else. They hate what is good, and love what
is evil. They will even take over your land, your ship, your
friends, your family, and even your life. So, to keep evil at
bay, good people fight back to preserve what's left of their
friends, family, land, and their own life. When the two sides
clash, the definition is war. It would be wonderful if we could'
all live together in a peaceful world, but with evil-loving folks
who won't leave peace-loving folks alone, that is how we
end up....jail for lesser violaters, prison for hard core bad
guys, and war between countries. It's sad. That's why I'm
glad that at the end of my life on this earth, I will be in
paradise with the Creator where there will finally be peace
forever and ever (as bad guys don't get to go there).

Why do we need Peace on earth?

On a timeline from when life first appeared on earth, modern man has been here but a second, and modern science a millisecond...yet right now in this generation we have the technology to destroy our species for all future generations. We have yet to learn the road of war is not one of peace, yet they are fighting for peace. As far as our spiritual evolution, we are stuck. We are not evolving, yet evolution is the nature of life, and if we don't change with nature, we will die. The earth will not die, but it too wants to survive, and threaten it we do, radiations come out as sunflares, causing earthquakes and all kinds of natural disasters, and nature will pick us up and spit us out if we don't learn, like I said the earth will survive. We try to fix things by what we are doing, but we cannot fix things by what we are doing, and what we are doing isn't working, we must fix things by what we are believing, and that determines what we are being. We must be peace, if each one of us would be peace, the peace of the world would not be easily tipped. As long as we are believing in old books supposedly inspired by dead ancestors of a few races, and told we are not worthy to be inspired by God, and believing in a mean, vengeful, needy God who will torture those who he doesn't get what He needs from, we will go out and commit atrocities on others in this gods name. As long as we have division, and think of ourselves as separate, instead of like the American Indians would say, one earth, one moon one people, we will have war. As long as we believe we have dominion over the earth such as the Bible states, we will continue to destroy the species on earth, and each other. If we would only do what works instead of what doesn't work...instead of thinking in terms of right or wrong on behalf of some idea of what God wants, we would evolve. We are given free will, and the universe will not stop us if we destroy our species...it is up to us..do we want this earth to be a place for future generations, or will we decide that we don't want to be human anymore, and wipe ourselves out forever from abiding on this earth, which has been so good to us?

Why do we go to war? What is the need for it?

thanks for A2AThere is a phrase in Qur'an that every time i read make me thinking. When Adam and Eve disobeyd God, he told them:( a near translation) Go down to the earth....on earth, some of you shall be enemy of eachother, and on earth you will live, die and reborn for judgment day......Earth was a place to a demonstraion. Showing the essence of humanity. the first thing God mentioned about mankind is War! the first thing that comes to eyes from them is their tendency to fight for something, which will make whole history of them on earth, where all aspects of humanity should be seen... But for what reason they fought, fighting and will fight? It seems for exactly everything. There is always a reason to fight just because they are human. They fight not because they have not any other choice, but because they choosed this way to live. First they fought for food and residance, then for honnor, glory and plunder. They burned, killed and rapped others in the name of emperors, for good of nation, to preserve motherland. In the name of god, drums of war beated. Races aginst races, ideologies aginst another, protectors aginst invaders. servents aginst lords, people aginst people....Do you really think without religiuos extermism, tribal intolerance, and facist dictators there will not be any war? Science will protect us?If so why atomic, chemical, and microbial are produceing everyday?Today people fight for free market in the name of democracy...best joke ever heared. Illusions caused by powers and politicains manipulated people all over history and it will be repeated again and again and again. So if you ask me why do people fight i will answer you:Simply because they are nothing more than a simple human.

Why doesn't god punish us on this earth? Why do we have to wait for judgement day?

God may choose to punish you on this earth itself. But only God knows his decision.Nobody is waiting for thousands of years for judgement day. Judgement of every individual (particular judgement) happens soon after their death. They need not wait. Let us see what does the universal Catechism teach concerning the Individual or Particular Judgment?CCC#679: Christ is Lord of eternal life. Full right to pass definitive judgment on the works and hearts of men belongs to him as redeemer of the world. He "acquired" this right by his cross. The Father has given "all judgment to the Son." Yet the Son did not come to judge, but to save and to give the life he has in himself. By rejecting grace in this life, one already judges oneself, receives according to one's works, and can even condemn oneself for all eternity by rejecting the Spirit of love.CCC#1021: Death puts and end to human life as the time open to either accepting or rejecting the divine grace manifested in Christ. The New Testament speaks of judgment primarily in its aspect of the final encounter with Christ in his second coming, but also repeatedly affirms that each will be rewarded immediately after death in accordance with his words and faith. The parable of the poor man Lazarus and the words of Christ on the cross to the good thief, as well as other New Testament texts speak of a final destiny of the soul, a destiny which can be different for some and or others.CCC# 1022: Each man receives his eternal retribution in his immortal soul at the very moment of his death, in a particular judgment that refers to his life to Christ: either entrance into the blessedness of heaven, through a purification or immediately,--or immediate and everlasting damnation.CCC# 393: It is the irrevocable character of their choice [fallen angles], and not a defect in the infinite divine mercy, that makes the angel's sin unforgivable. "There is no repentance for the angels after their fall, just as there is no repentance for men after death."Individual (Particular) Judgement
