Do women even find men attractive?

having been married to the same lady for 40 years, and spoken at length to my mother , sister, 2 daughters and a grand daughter,all 3.6 billion women on the planet are unique in their preferences,but in my experience its very different from the way men feel it,the scoring system 0/10 to 10/10 is not nonsenseit is real, not a fallacy, and there is a high degree of consensus as to which person attains which score,any woman who exceeds 5/10 will get noticed by most men regardless of anything else, she might be as dumb as a box of hammers and / or have the personality of a witch, but they will notice her and be drawn to her,looks also matters for a woman, but the man has to be more of a complete package to attract many women, unless he is Johnny Depp /Paul Newman handsome,any man who is at Harry Dean Stanton/John Hurt/Dustin Hoffman level of looks (or better) will get attention from women if he has self confidence, a good career, is moderately kind (although kindness is far from necessary)….IMHO self confidence is the essential bit for the majority of women (even Paul Newman would be unattractive if he seemed unsure of himself)

Why do some guys find me attractive when others don't?

Humans are pattern matching animals.  Heterosexual men see a pattern: 0.70 waist/hip ratio, full lips, proportional breasts, clear skin, even coloring, youth, posture and other signals of fecundity.   The closer you are to the ideal range across all of thes properties, the higher percentage of men will find you attractive.  Then of course there is context.  In general, I find Asian women attractive, although I've never dated one.   When I was in Hong Kong a few years ago, I remember walking into a bar in the red light district (wan chai) to listen to a band (really). The bar was filled with attractive young women who wanted to "date" me.  As a foreigner, I attracted the kind of attention that attractive women command wherever they go.   (I have no illusion what they were attracted to in me).   There were Chinese, Thai,  Filipina and other nationalities from all over Southeast Asia.  Then suddenly, into the bar walked three blond women.  They were a foot taller than then other women and stunning.   They were attractive - don't get me wrong - but the effect of their physical presence was not lost on the other men in attendance. Novelty is a pretty big factor in attraction.  If you are the only Asian girl around, you are automatically going to be noticed. It is likely that even the guys who express no outward interest in you would not throw you out of bed for eating crackers.  So you've got that going for you. Do women find bodybuilders attractive?

Very common. There are two types of body builders. There are the pro's that do full body competitions that get judged by the most muscle (Kai Greene, Phil Heath, Jay Cutler), then there are Men's Physique competitors. These guys get judged on their anesthetics.All women are more attracted to muscle because it signals testosterone (the male sexual hormone). Women are attracted to it because it signals to the that they will have healthy and powerful kids. The same reason we like big tits and ass. Now, I believe women would be less attracted to the Kai Greene type because they are TOO BIG. The steroids cause they're stomachs to bulge etc. The classic thin waist and V-taper is far more attractive to women.
