I think it means that there is something with you that he can't find anywhere else. He dates other girls and gets disappointed because they don't have it, so he keeps going back to you. It's flattering. The only problem is that there is some reason why it never works for you guys. This makes it sad. I've had a similar situation. I met a Japanese guy and talked to him for two years. We met once and had a great time but the relationship drove me crazy! I stopped talking to him but he keeps coming back. For a long time, when he'd come back, I'd take him up on it because I liked him. I really do like him. He just drives me crazy. But he keeps coming back and I assume, judging from people he's told me that he's met in the meantime, that I'm the only girl he's known who is nice enough to him and who has ideals more similar to his.

We've been on and off for almost a decade and every yr well get in a dramatic fight he dumps me we go our seperate ways then months later he pops back in I hate that I never move on for hopes that he'll come back and What do u know he decides to dump me again this year I'm devistated he says he's over it ? Why does my ex always seem to come crawling back to me after he does something stupid like talk to another girl that his friends tried to introduce him to? It's like this sick phase of his. We dated for over a year and everything was fine until his friends would influence him. Every time we broke up he came crawling back eventually. Telling me he wants to marry me & he even told me he has a feeling I'm going to be the mother of his children. Then, after some time, he becomes influenced once again. Why does he just never learn his lesson?
