it's a bug on instagram and hopefully it will be fixed soon. 1. try to restart your phone. (if you have an Iphone hold the top and home button at the same time) 2. wait for an update it might be that the app is just fuccked up 3. make a new instagram account an try do the things you would normally no on your current. ( If thats the case then just straight up make a new one cause the amount of followers you have doesn't matter) 4. Delete your intagram application and download new one.

That is some sort of API issue. I read about it on other forums too. I am not exactly sure why it happens but it could be due to:Cache issuesAPI clashes after an updateInternet connectionBut I also found a quick fix. Let me know if it works.That is, if you are using Wi-Fi, switch to mobile data and try gain. Or if you are on mobile data, switch to Wi-Fi and try to change the password.
Why does Instagram keep asking me to verify my account?
So Instagram keeps on asking me to verify my account by providing a phone number so that they can send me a security code. Now, I don't have a phone so I used my friends. So far I have tried over 4 times and it doesn't work. Like it tells me to make a new password so I do that but on the step of the verifying my email when I press submit, it says page not found. Like why would the page not be found ugh can somebody please please help me :(

So this could be from several factors:Number of comments in a short period of time- Instagram will block you if you send too many comments within one hour. I believe the limit is somewhere from 12–15 comments/hour with a 300 second break between them. Exceeding this is a surefire way to get blocked.Repeat comments- If you keep posting the same comment hundreds of time, you are spamming and will be blocked.So just make sure you actually have different comments and that you don't go overboard with the number of comments you leave.
Why does he keep following and unfollowing me on Instagram? Please help?
I like this guy and he's a family friend and I followed him on Instagram, which I hope isn't weird because we don't go to the same school. Anyway after a few days he followed me back then unfollowed me a few days later. He has done this four or five times since then. What the heck? It's all spread out though with a few weeks in between these. I know he's not big on social media at all and I almost never post but still. It's a little aggravating. Also regardless of if he has feelings for me or not we are pretty good friends and have known each other for years although I don't see him much. Do you think maybe he's just shy for some reason? I haven't contacted him on it at all so it's not like I'm annoying him. As far as I know im the only person he does this to.

This happened to me as well, unfortunatly.At the moment I know it is really annoying but just do as they ask, for the sake of keeping your account.Turns out, when this was happening to me, someone was trying to “hack” my account. I use the quotation marks because whoever did it clearly didn't do a good job, was either not experienced or was just playing around from bordem because my account never actually got hacked.My advice? Just keep doing whatever Instagram asks of you, or you might just loose your account. Suck it up for now!They will email you of whatever is happening when they are certain or to ask your permission to delete the account all together if it is too late and the account is already hacked..in my experience anyway.
