How do I find my email address contact list that has gone missing all of a sudden?
Hope these previous answers help you. Nobody has done anything but Yahoo and they have reformatted Yahoo and Yahoo "Classic". Here's another's answer on getting your "Contacts" list printed. I made PDF copies of the Contact and the Categories. Shotsie Best Answer - Chosen by Asker Did a little digging and this is what I found. You can still print your address list. 1. Click on Contacts to open your address book on the left. 2. Click on Tools on the right. 3. Click on Print from the drop down menu. 4. Across from "Layout", check the radio button next to "Detailed View" OR Basic View. 5. Go to the bottom left and click "Display for Printing." You don't have to print this view if it is not what you want. 6. Click the Back button and select the the other view. 7. Click "Display for Printing" again. Once you have the view you prefer opened, click File from the IE toolbar above and click Print. Select the option that allows all information to be printed. Where did contact list go?
Try these 2 things first. Sign into messenger, on the messenger window above where your contacts names should be there is an arrow that says friends next to it, Make sure arrow is pointing down, if the arrow is pointing to the right click on the arrow. If that doesn't work on the messenger window at the top click contacts select show/hide next select offline contacts. If that doesn't correct the problem you may need to reinstall messenger. Where are my e-mail contacts?
Yes, my e-mail contact have disappeared. They pop up in my contacts but I cannot delete them or change them because I cannot find them. MORE GARBAGE BEING SHOVED DOWN OUR THROATS BY YAHOO. I have had it with them cramming these features down my throat and not giving me a way to go back. I am definitely looking at a pay e-mail service (and it will not be google). This crap from Yahoo is just too much trouble.

Hi, Your Yahoo Account MAY have been Hacked, this is happening to people all over the Yahoo network and has been been for months. ANYWAY HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:- You need to contact Yahoo by Email. This can be done by clicking on HELP at the Bottom Right Hand side of the Yahoo Home Page under Horoscopes. Click on Yahoo Mail, or whatever one is best for you, you can also click on the arrows for more options, or type your problem in the Search Help box. Go to the Right hand side of page and click on Contact Customer Care. Click on Category, page will reload for you to click on Sub Category. Make sure you fill in Brief Details of what has Happened, click Enter. Depending on the Category you select and the Sub Category you also select you should then see at the Bottom of the Page for more help Click on EMAIL A SUPPORT AGENT. You may have to click on different ones and try variations. There will then be a Form to fill in. Fill in the form with as much information as you can remember about your security details and your account. Yahoo will then contact you at a Different Email Address that you need to give them. This email address CANNOT be a yahoo email one. You need to give them a different Email Address, it could be one that you already have or you will need to create a new one, Google, Hotmail, etc. You do this by clicking on Email and then click on Register and follow the instructions. They only need this other email address to give you instructions regarding your yahoo account. You will be asked to create a New Password, Best to have one that is very hard to guess for anyone else trying to access your Yahoo Account. I Would Also Strongly advise that you register your Mobile Number/Cell Phone number with Yahoo, Account Settings, that way if your account is hacked a message should come up and they can send a code to your phone for you to then unlock your email account. To find out if this is a problem with your computer, try the standard 'fix' for all Yahoo related problems - clear your history, temporary files (be patient) & cookies, then restart the computer and retry. Hopefully it isn't gone, but with Yahoo completely reformatted, we have to learn emailing all over again. Yahoo Your Yahoo mail Compose select underlined To, CC, or BCC field Up will pop our familiar contacts, but now they are called "Address Book" You can also select a Category here and see just that list of new complete addresses (at least we have the Nicknames and email addresses listed, so we can tell who and where we are sending emails. You clicked a button that said something similar to " Find more friends" It's the same stunt Google, FB, Yahoo, and Microsoft use to gain access to your email contact list. It is a button which you have to click, but it is often "hidden in plain sight" and is VERY easy to click on without fully realizing what you're doing UNLESS you happen to be on the lookout for it.
