Why is my hair always tangled?

Try switching to using a boar brush so to ensure you don't damage your hair as damaged hair tangles easier. Deman boar brushes are good for detangling so try using one like this http://www.oxigenhair.co.za/resources/Denman-Brush.jpg
Also when not at work switch to mostly using cotton hair ties like this http://pad1.whstatic.com/images/thumb/6/63/Make-Hair-Tie-Bows-Step-1.jpg/550px-Make-Hair-Tie-Bows-Step-1.jpg they don't tangle your hair or damage it like other more rough/secure hair ties.

Thats all you can basically do unless you want to layer it. Unless of course the next time you go to get your hair cut you ask them to check if your hair is damaged/dry/coarse which can cause your hair to tangle. In that case you need to see a good hair stylist and get advice.

Why is my hair always tangled?

My hair is long, somewhat thick, straight, and smooth, but it tangles so EASILY! It doesn't get any horrible knots or anything, it just tangles up kinda where my part ends and all the way down in the back of my head. I'll brush it, and then five minutes later it will be all frizzy and my part will get all twisted in the back of my head. My hair DOES get frizzy a lot and i use this "de-frizz" thing by Sunsilk and it seems to work but it still gets tangled during the day. Could it possibly just be the weather? I NEED HELP! :O lol

Why does my hair get tangled so easily?

I have the same problem. Theres really no way to stop it from tangling. I would suggest trimming it thats always healthy.. If you dont like cutting your hair you can always just dust of the ends alittle trim.. If your hair is soft its always just going to tangle thats what happens. Mine does too i have naturally soft hair it just always tangles. I carry a brush woth me in my purse whenever it happens i brush it right when i notice a knot before they get too crazy. You can try deep conditioning treatmeants at a salon it just sits in your hair for about 15min? You wont have knots for about a week. Hope this helps:)

Why does my hair get tangled easily?

I have thick wavy hair that tangles when you look at it wrong lol

Putting your hair in a braid and putting a tiny elastic at the end while you sleep helps SO much I always do this now and even started quenching the hair from the ears down with a moisturizer like coconut oil and putting it in a braid and when I wash it out in the morning t is very soft and easy to manage!

I also second the Frieda serum as a cheapish option for during the day. I had that before I discovered Bumble & Bumble Invisible Oil which is my Holy Grail product now but a little pricier. Absolutely worth it in my opinion. It never looks greasy just shiny and makes the hair soft and detangles and de frizzed it plus protects it from heat and UV damage. It's really lightweight and smells good too.

Why do wires and cords always get tangled up when you leave them in a backpack?

Wires and cords that most often get tangled tend to be long (longer than 1.5 feet), flexible and usually have low friction. They also usually have headphones or other types of connectors attached to their ends which are of a significant weight when compared to the wire itself. As a result, when you put them in a confined space like a pocket or a backpack and go out for a walk, the cables get bounced around and get tangled up.All scientists that have tried to find an answer to this everyday problem have come up with similar conclusions because, come on, there is just one cable and a thousand ways in which it can get tangled.   Some research suggests that flat cables would be less prone to tangling but again I have seen headphones with flat cables in an equally tangled state. As unsatisfying as the above answer sounds, it is the answer. There is a whole branch of mathematics called Knot theory that studies the behavior and formation of knots.Fun fact: There is actually a sport called speed cabling in which contestants have to untangle bundles of Ethernet cables.

Why do I tangle my hair?

Coping mechanism. Distraction. Fidgeting. All you gotta do is to get something in your hands. Rip up some paper, squeeze a stress ball, tangle a piece of thread or a rubber band, etc. Just have something to fidget with so you wouldn’t reach for your hair. In the beginning, you could try wearing a bun all the time, until you get used to fidgeting with other things and don’t feel the need to touch your hair anymore.
