Why does my teacher hate me for no reason?
okay, so im in 8th grade and my history teacher seems to hate me. she's usually nice to everybody and all. one day she pulled me out of class and said i wasn't raising my hand enough in class. So ever since then i raise my hand whenever i knew the answer AND SHE DOESN'T PICK ON ME. every single time i don't know the answer to something she picks on me and uses me as a bad example. Im trying to work as hard as i can, but she has already pulled me out of class 4 times already and one time she told me i was taking up space in her room... p.s I don't talk in her class or fool around

My physic 20 ( science) teacher in grade this year, last semester ( September 2012- Janurary 2013) I am in grade 11 and he hates me because I don't go to tutorial ( It's where students arrive 30 minute before school starts to ask question) and I did really bad in his class. He always glare at me and clench his teeth whenever I talk to him and ask question in class and in tutorial. He embarrassed me when I ask him a question and said there is no magic formula making me look like a dumb boy. Just tell your parents or ask your principle if you can have different teacher and tell him/her why.

*SORRY THIS IS LONG* My science teacher is normally pretty chill but for the last 2 days it seems like he's snapped or something. He yells at me for unnecessary things; two days ago I got to class about 2 minutes before it started and decided to chat with this girl who sits right next to me. CLASS HADN'T EVEN STARTED yet he yelled at me, not her, for "talking in class". Then today, I sat in my seat (which I sit in every day) and he said it wasn't my seat and I should move towards the back of the class? Even this girl who sits half away across the classroom noticed and said it was unfair. I don't get why. I have an A in his class and I always do my work, I don't interrupt. It just doesn't make sense.

Ive never had a detention in my life before, im a really nice student. For some odd reason, i always have to go to the bathroom in her class. I always have lunch a couple hours before this class so the water makes me go to the bathroom. She usually lets me go, but sometimes she gets really mad. Anyway, today my friend was asking "If i got 100 on my next test what would my new average me?" Im good at math so i walked up from my next (shes like 2 feet away from me) and my teacher was saying well you have to do this that.. and that etc... and i said you just add up all the numbers and divide by however many there are and my teacher goes "EXCUSE ME im talking!!" i was like ok.. so i sit back down. Then 10 minutes later she asks me if im writing down whats on the board (in the mean team other kids are texting and getting away with everything) i said do you want me to write this in my notebook or my assignment book? she said "NOW!" i was like ok that wasnt my question. Then my science teacher walks in and says "Hey i need to see you after school to give you this back (It was a pie pan because i made her a pie). Then when she leaves my teacher (for the class im in) says your always the last one in class and first to leave your last to leave today.So every one leaves after the bell rings im sitting in class and then i get up to go and she goes excuse me come here where are u going? I said my teacher needs to see me and shes like ITS FOR A PIE PAN! who cares?! now let me talk to u. You never think before you say youre extremely rude you dont sit down and always get out of your seat. (its only happened once) she made me cry im not joking. The only thing that made me happy was when one of my other teachers cheered me up. But ive had new years resolutions and they are to never get a detention because ive never had one before. I had to go to the bathroom or i wouldve peed my pants and i tried to help a friend and she gets mad. What should i do? I dont have school untill next week. Thanks

It is hard to know what happened here, and it could potentially be a number of things. Maybe you did or said something which offended her. Maybe she misunderstood something you said or did. Maybe someone else told her something, true or not, about you. I would try to talk to her. Be very polite and humble, and just say that you have noticed that her attitude toward you seems to have changed recently, and since you have always respected her, that concerns you. Ask if there is something you did or said which offended or bothered her, because that certainly wasn't your intention. Just the fact that you seem to genuinely care about changing whatever you need to change to make things right again should make her feel more positively toward you.

First of all, I doubt she's jealous of you because you want to be a model. Maybe if you already had the cover of Vogue, but otherwise, hoping to do something is not something people are jealous of. I also think that when you pay her $70 a month, that allows you to be on the team and practice with the team, but not necessarily to participate in a competition. It's like a pro basketball player who sits on the bench when his coach thinks he won't be an asset to the team, even though he is still a member of that team. So I don't know if your teacher thinks that you aren't working hard enough, or that your attitude is bad, or if she just doesn't think you have the talent to be on the team - I haven't seen you dance, so I'm not judging you, but one of these things is what she is seeing. I don't doubt that you can do the dance, but something about the way you do it is not what she wants to see as part of the team. What I would recommend is that you (or maybe you and one of your parents) ask to talk with her. Tell her that you love dancing, and you have been upset that you haven't been able to participate in these competitions. Ask her what you could do differently to ensure that this doesn't happen again. It will force her to say something. Either she will say that you need to work harder, or she will say that you need to fix something specific (either in your dancing or your attitude), or she will say that you just don't have the talent to do it and there is nothing you can do about it. Again, I'm not saying that you are a no-talent person, but that could be the way she sees it. And if that is the case, you probably shouldn't bother to pay her any more or to continue to practice with this team, because you will never be able to please her.

I hate my teacher and she hates me. I am a very good student, never had bad grades, studied all the time, gave hard exams, but apparently, this teacher seems to hate my guts. I do all my homework, answer in class, OBEY to whatever she has to say, while some of the others even swear and yell and talk back, but she really really hates me. Due to a health issue, which i told her about, i couldnt study for an exam, i told her it would have been awful, badly written and if she could just cancel it and just test me some other time. Needless to say she didnt. She gave me a 4/10 (i didnt really care) but what bothered me was that she humiliated me in front of my classmates. Scolded me like i was a stupid pig, insulted my education and my parents, although both of them knew exactly whats going on at school and almost made me cry. Moreover, she always comes to my desk and compliments my deskmate about her looks and knowledge, asks everyone how they are feeling except me.. I feel really bad and discriminated. She compares me to the bad kids in my classroom but i hang with the nerds and i am actually studying heavily all the time. I cant impress her with anything, i always smile at her, give her gifts, nothing works. Im so frustrated and so afraid of her course and it is actually an important one. What should i do?

My teachers hate me for no reason? I'm a pretty good and average guy in my school but my teachers hate me. I do all my homework and my teachers give me bad grades although I have all the correct answers. In quizzes they cut a lot more points off then they are suppose to. i m now wondering, WHY?
Why do I fear my teacher hates me?
Many of my teachers never liked me. And the rest did not even know that I existed. And I knew it very well. Only 4 teachers in my entire 14 years of school life have liked me. I may have left 1 or 2. I’m not sure. But I have never felt that loved at school. And I have sometimes worried myself like you did. But one thing is for sure. It has noway affected my life. Not 1%. And I swear i'm not lying. I understand the following now:School teacher (especially science and maths) as a profession is chosen by people who did not get something better. Most of engineering teachers too. Any really educated person (a few good souls do exist) will not make you feel bad. He/she will try to help you. So these teachers who hate you aren’t that smart people. It’s not coincidental that their teaching skills are also bad. So just ignore them.Some teachers might have bias for reasons including caste/religion. You cannot impress them if you belong to a different category. You’ll understand this in your late 20’s. So just ignore them.Some psychos exist. They are unpredictable and unworthy to discuss. Ignore them.Yes. Just ignore them. 'A teacher paying attention to you' and 'your intelligence quotient' are no way related. So don't worry. Enjoy life
