I can't add my Social Security Number to paypal?
I need to lift the limit on my paypal account so I can add more money to my bank account but everytime I enter my Social Security Number it says "We are unable to verify your social security number. Please check that you entered the number correctly and resubmit." Yes I am a US citizen
Does paypal ask for your Full Social Security Number or the Last 4 digits?
I've been a Paypal user for about 10 years, and I don't even know if they have my full SSN or not. The last 4 won't do them any good though, except as a security question.

When I made my PayPal, the only time I had to give PayPal my SSN was when I wanted to add over a certain amount onto my account. Now, my PayPal account is limited and I can't add money, buy or send money, or anything else until I give them proof of ID, Proof of Address, and Proof of SSN. Why do they need this information and is it safe to give it to them? Looking for people who use PayPal pretty regularly for anwers, please.
