That's a very hard question to answer, because every translation differs somewhat from the original. Words don't always transpose exactly from one language to another - they have sub-meanings that don't carry over at all. Manheim has taken extra words to try to capture some of the nuances in the German - but you would find it very interesting to read both and to compare them so you can see for yourself how two very capable translators differ in converting thoughts from one language to another.

From my understanding the English translations of Mien Kampf were by Edgar Dugdale in England in 1931 & Houghton Mifflin, 1933, & James Murphy in 1939. Hitler mentioned Ford in his book as a rare American visionary. Henry Ford wrote writings that were published in The International Jew in 1920. In 1920 Henry Ford had come to the conclusion that the American banking industry had been taking over by Jews and this would soon lead to ruin. If Henry Ford was anymore or less anti Semitic than the next man of his time I do not know. He did have a friendship with Andre Citroen who was a Jew, so I do not think Henry Fords anti Jewish comments were much more than angry rants when Ford did not get his way at the bank. I believe that had Hitler died in a plane crash in 1938 he would have been regarded as the greatest German politician to have ever lived.
