Why Does Yahoo Permits Other User To Use Your Existing Yahoo Account Somebody Was Able To Use My

Receiving a 554 error (This user doesn't have a yahoo.com account)?

I should have noted that I have reviewed the posts on this site regarding error 554, and those specific to the "This user doesn't have a yahoo.com account" type of 554 error were not helpful. I know that this e-mail address was correctly typed and is active.

Can I get a passport using my learner's driving permit?

I need to get a passport soon and I'm planning on getting my Ohio driving learner's permit on Saturday (I'm almost 17 so I'm a bit late. Oh well). Could I use the permit in lieu of a driver's license when applying for a passport?

If not, it's no big deal because I guess I could just always get a state issued ID card, but I would be killing two birds with one stone this way.

Thanks.

Why is Quora more popular than Yahoo Answers? What elements make it the more popular Q&A site?

A couple of years back, early 2015 I guess, I wanted to know about the basics of big data and its importance in industry.I googled “What is Big data”The first link popped up was Wikipedia - I opened in a new tab and set it aside. The second link was from Yahoo answers. I opened and was looking for some useful information. There were answers like:I was confused, irritated and most of the answers didn’t answer the question. The next link which popped was from Quora.I could find answers like this:Answer was by Balaji Viswanathan (பாலாஜி விஸ்வநாதன்) sir. That is the moment I followed him and read his other answers too! And that was the moment i decided not to refer yahoo answers for anything in future.Unlike Yahoo answers, Why was the answer better? It summed up all the information - technical explanation with real life examplesPictures made it easier for me to connect with answerThe credential “Ran a Big data company” made me believe the answer is from someone trustworthy.Upvotes and comments of appreciation from people in related field made me feel secured about the answerComments were healthy and was debating its future application. So, with no further discussions, Quora is always better than Yahoo answers.

What happens to emails sent to a terminated Yahoo email address? Does the sender get any notification?

The SMTP standard (think of this as the way that mail servers talk to each other) has an explicit error code for User Not Found and this is the 550 error. A correctly configured mail server will send this response code to the sending server (your email address) and it will ususually have the subject of Undelivered: and your subject line. This is your way of knowing that the account is no longer accepting emails and to find an alternate way of communicating with the person. To echo some of the other statements:Yes Yahoo knows that you sent a messageYes Yahoo logs the messageYes the sender gets a notification

Why is collecting rainwater illegal in some states?

I was kind of shocked at the number of Internet articles I've found (having just googled it) claiming that rainwater harvesting is "illegal." But on closer inspection, I find they are mostly repeats of each other, all making the same exaggerated claim, without citing any facts.

Rainwater harvesting is not illegal. It was heavily restricted in Colorado, Washington and Utah until 2009, but all three states have since relaxed their bans. In six or seven other states, rainwater harvesting is regulated -- you have to obtain a permit, which is in most cases is about making certain that your harvesting equipment doesn't contaminate groundwater -- but not illegal. (You have to obtain permits to construct houses or drive automobiles, but that doesn't make people claim such activities are "illegal.")

The guy in Colorado who was jailed for 30 days in 2012 had been denied his permit, but went ahead and built three giant reservoirs anyway -- in other words, his real offence was defying the state regulatory agency.

Anyway. The theory behind regulation of rainwater harvesting is simple: water falling from the sky is public property, not private property, and belongs in the water table where it can restore diminished streams and reservoirs. Those who collect it privately are "hoarding" it. Of course the opposite theory is: a person who uses rainwater first is consuming less public water.

The Internet, not being subject to any kind of screening or editing, is a great place to plant and spread misinformation for political purposes. Re-read any of those "rainwater collecting is illegal" articles and you'll note the political spin, which is a first hint that the article is exaggerated. Here is a link to one of the more balanced ones:

Can you use someone else's fishing license?

You legally need to purchase your own license.
But fishing licenses don't have your photo on it, so it's quite possible you could fool Mr. Park Ranger by claiming that you're the person who signed the license. And if he asks you for a photo ID (such as a driver's license or state non-driver's ID), you could just say you aren't carrying one. In these United States, the Supreme Court has stated that you aren't legally required to present any personal identification papers to any law enforcement officer unless you're driving a car and are being charged with a traffic offense. Happy fishing :-)

What To Bring To DMV For Permit?

Bring birth certificate, social security card and 2 proofs of residency (usually, 2 of the most recent utility bills). I'm assuming you are under 18, so bring a parent. Also, bring $48 because that's how much a learner's permit cost. The DMV should already have records that you took and passed the test. However, if you have proof that you took and passed these tests, bring it (just in case).

If you don't have any of the items mentioned above, you can go to gathergoget.com
This website is recommended by the Florida DHSMV. You put your information in and it will list all other possible items you can bring if you can't get any of the aforementioned items.
