Why Has Pandora Stop Working

Pandora stopped working...?

Okay, so here's my dilemma:
I am an avid listener of Pandora - I couldn't live without it. Which is why I found it so annoying that one day, it just stopped working. The website itself will load and everything, it'll even show the song playing, but I won't hear any sound. At first I thought it was a problem with my sound card, but I found that when I went to other websites the sound worked perfectly (even sites using flash, so I know it can't be a flash problem). It's also annoying because Pandora also works on all of my other computers except the one I NEED it to work on! I'm currently using Firefox, although I'm experiencing the same problems on this computer no matter what web browser I use (Opera, Chrome, etc...). Any advice?

Why does Pandora stop after each song?

Have been playing Pandora my computer and it worked fine the first day. Ever since then, it stops at what would be like the last couple seconds of each song. When I switch back to the tab under which I am playing Pandora, it will start again. What's up? Using Yahoo browser and my computer's a bit old. Any setting that might be fouling me up? Thanks in advance

Why is my pandora on iPhone not working?

My iPhone has been doing it for the past week and other people I know have said the same thing. Hopefully they will have an update for Pandora here soon. The only thing I can think of is to contact the service provider and see what they tell you to do. Good luck please let me know of you figure anything out. -Josh

How is Pandora doing in 2015?

Spotify holds a huge lead over Pandora and other streaming services: the Swedish streaming platform recently passed 15 million paid subscribers, while Pandora’s paid subscribers hover in the three to four million range.http://www.digitaltrends.com/mus...

Why did Pandora stop displaying lyrics?

I don't have sources to back this up, so please, someone correct me if I'm totally wrong, but I remember reading a few years back that Pandora had renegotiated their licenses to stream music. Their license to display lyrics alongside songs (which is in fact separate from their license to play songs) wasn't renewed, however. That's why lyrics disappeared. (If I remember right, lyrics used to come from a third-party service called LyricFind - Pandora must no longer be doing business with that company.) I hope this is factually accurate - let me know if it isn't!

Why do Pandora and Spotify stop when I start browsing the internet on my phone?

I suppose this happens when you are browsing net using chrome or firefox.I too have faced this issue. The problem is ,Spotifu,Pandora and Chrome/firefox are resource intensive apps and have a large RAM footprint i.e. they consume a lot of RAM. Moto G has just 1 gb RAM out of which hardly 250-300 mb is free. This is not enough to sustain these apps simultaneously .As a result, one of the apps closes depending upon which app is being used in the foreground ie active app. This will also happen if you open spotify with chrome in the background. In this case the tabs will reload when you switch to chrome from spotify. The solution is to remove social apps from phone. These apps are constantly connected to their servers and waste a lot of RAM(fb being the main culprit) as well as data usage.Keep only essential apps .The best solution is to get root and use minfree manager in combination with greenify. Also rooting allows you to remove unnecessary system apps using Titanium Backup.Hope this helps.

Why can't I replay a song on Pandora?  Or if I can, how do I do it?

You can't, because of their licensing restrictionsThis is no longer part of their general FAQ, which I've noticed lately contains much less information. I'm not sure why Pandora has removed this explanation from it's FAQ, as it seems like many people would still be interested in knowing the restrictions on listening and why they exist.http://blog.pandora.com/mt/mt-se... - begin quote - Why can't my Pandora station do certain things? Our music licenses forbid hearing a song or artist in a predictable way. Here are our primary licensing restrictions:We cannot play a specific song or artist right away, or "on demand."We cannot play more than four songs credited to a particular artist name in a three-hour period. This is the maximum, so each artist may play even less often than that.A Pandora station cannot play a playlist of only certain songs or artists: we must include a mix of similar songs and artists on each Pandora station. You cannot rewind, or immediately replay, any song on Pandora. You cannot download or cache music from Pandora. Pandora requires an active internet connection. If you'd like to hear the music Pandora plays for you offline, we make it easy to purchase the music you hear.A Pandora station cannot provide unlimited song "skips."- end quote -

Why does only one earbud in a pair of headphones stop working?

There is no easy answer to this. It mostly comes down to how the headphones are driven. If you have headphones that have individual wires going to individual cans, there’s a much greater likelihood that the dominant can will be the first to malfunction, if your handling has been rough. The wires conducting the electrical signals to the cans are quite thin, and they become even thinner when split up to left/right sides. Mostly, the wire for your dominant can will be the one that is stretched, twisted and spun around more. That leads to faster wear and tear. Soon, the other can will also stop working, but no one would actually wait for that to happen, would they? :DThat is why, over-ear/on-ear headphones are much better to go for when relaxing and drowsing off, especially if they have a thicker detachable cable. In-ear headphones should be used when you are active and alert, so you can actually take a note of how to avoid damaging the wires.
