Why Have I Been So Tired Lately

Why have I been so oddly tired lately?

Ive been so tired lately. Maybe for a week or so. I don't think that I am prego although I was active a week ago. I have been dealing with a lot that could be causing stress on my body but im just not feeling that stress mentally. Ive been somewhat sick too. Body aches sometimes and the other day I had a head ache too and than again im just really tired and all I wanna do is sleep when I get home. This is my daily routine: Get up go to school, at school for about 6 hours than I have softball practice or a softball game right after that, right after school. Than when im done with that sometimes ill hang out with my boyfriend or go home and do homework. I haven't been eating as much either. I mean sometimes im just not in the mood to eat something. So Im not sure but please help idk what wrong with me!

Why have I been so tired and sleepy lately?

It's so difficult to focus, concentrate, think, or do anything. I just feel so tired, and the only thing I can ever think about is lying on my bed. At the worst points, I yawn twice every minute, maybe a little slower. I don't know what to do, and I'm kind of in a panic over it.

This has gone on for a few days now, gradually getting worse until about yesterday, at its peak. Besides the headaches (which I have discerned were because of me taking off my glasses more often), I haven't been able to find any other symptoms at or around this time. This makes me skeptical of things like anemia, which come grouped with various other symptoms.

Today I tried a multivitamin. Once it set into effect, it upgraded me from this level of tiredness to "regular" tiredness (which, mind you, still isn't very good). I doubt it will last. The next thing I'm going to try out is coffee, which I've actually wanted to try for a while now.

Some context: I'm a 15 year old male. Mother suggests that this is happening because of puberty, but I'm already well into puberty. Why would it be happening now? I get optimal sleep, 8-9 hours each night. I WAS beginning to exercise before I began getting tired. I like to believe I drink enough water. I don't do drugs, cigarettes, etc.

I have a lot of ideas....
1) I would get checked to see if you have a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) your doctor can do a really simple urine test to find out and clear if up quickly with antibiotics. It can spread if you dont get it checked out. That could be causing some of the restlessness.
2) You could be suffering from winter depression if there is snow in your area, it's very common.
3) When I feel exhausted and like I cant get a good night's sleep I'll take a long shower and give yourself a head massage before you fall asleep. You can also sleep better if you lay quietly and concentrate on the QUIET before falling asleep. This keeps any "white noise" that your brain plays constantly from interrupting your sleep patterns.
4) I've heard good things about aroma therapy for sleep. Lavender is supposed to be especially helpful.

I hope something in there helps you.

I've been really tired lately?

You seem to have a fatigue problem. Perhaps the energy vitamin B12 can help or a vitamin B complex. Coenzyme Q10 can also help to boost your energy level as in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22c... The super food Spirulina is another good energy booster.

One of the most common fatigue causes is anxiety, which is known to effect 40 million U.S. adults each year. Anxiety is a state of fear of real or imagined danger, which is manifested as increased heart rate, trembling, panic, weakness, extreme fatigue and stomach or intestinal discomfort. Anxiety disorders make up the largest mental illness diagnosis in the U.S.

Besides anxiety there are many other common fatigue causes such as insufficient sleep, too much sleep, under eating, thyroid problems or other illnesses (such as anemia, mononucleosis, CFS, glandular fever and many others), side effects from medication, dehydration, overexertion, an unhealthy diet and other causes as discussed in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22c...

Why have I been so sleepy lately?

no, but imho, your metabolism slows down, your circulation becomes sluggish and you just don't function so well if you sleep constantly - often out of boredom or monotony. best to get up and go for a long brisk walk or phone a friend for a long conversation next time you feel inclined to sleep before bedtime.

I am only 30 and lately I have been so tired, I can barely stand. I have been to the doctor and the only thing I have is depression. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

There is a condition known as chronic fatigue syndrome, myalgic encephalomyelitis. The odds are that you don’t have this because you haven’t mentioned pain or the effect increasing after any exertion. (Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS)) As for depression, yeah, been there, doing that, and a lot of other people are too.But I have to note that depression is a default diagnosis when nothing else can be determined. The fact that a lot of people suffer from it makes many people presume it first. But then, they’re normally right too.I won’t give you advice; there’s too much floating around already and I know it can get annoying. I’ll just say that there there is an end to it if you look, and everybody crafts their own way out. Good luck.

Why have I been so tired recently?

A few potential reasons: Thyroid issues go to a doctor. Not getting into REM sleep try melatonin. Not being able to stay asleep from tossing and turning, first make sure it isn't just your bed, then see if you may have symptoms of depression as it will leave you fatigued all the time. Sharing a bed, see if the other person is making it hard for you to be well rested, snoring, or them shaking the bed all night, recommended melatonin or something for sleep apnea. Do you snore, look into sleep apnea. Lastly, try taking a hot bath drink some sleepy time extra tea, and try finding something soothing to listen to that will help you fall asleep, set a bed time in which you put distractions away, and lay in bed on your back for a couple minutes with your palms facing upward, take some deep breaths, then when you feel relaxed get in whatever position you prefer for sleep, if your blankets and pillows have all been cleaned, you should be able to pass right out and sleep fantastically.

I've been abnormally tired lately?

It could be SAD if the weather is bad where you are. A lot of people suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) which happens around wintertime. I have it myself, and it makes me want to sleep all the time. I sleep half the day when I'm at home and want to take a nap later that afternoon. Also, it is very important that you make sure you are getting enough water and protein. Vitamins may help as well. Not getting the right (or enough) nutrients can take a toll on your body. See a doctor as soon as possible because it may be very serious.
